I am so happy with the care Billie received! He was clearly very happy staying with Alejandro and his partner. They took such good personal care of him and were flexible and incredibly sweet with all of Billie’s needs — including his zoomies. Al van kinds af aan ben ik een enorme dierenliefhebber. Het allerliefst zou ik zelf een hond adopteren, maar qua werksituatie is dat nu helaas niet mogelijk. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

Zorgzame en actieve oppas met een groot dierenhart

Van kleins af aan ben ik al gek op dieren en ben ik altijd door huisdieren omringd geweest. Vroeger liet ik met veel plezier honden uit bij het asiel , dit wakkerde mijn dierenliefde alleen maar meer aan. Tegenwoordig pas ik regelmatig op de honden en katten van vrienden en werk ik ook op een plek waar ik omringd ben door dieren. Ik ben gek op lange wandelingen, korte wandelingen, wandelen aan zee of wandelen in het bos you name it! Jet is een geweldige dierenoppas! Ze heeft op mijn kat Pjotr gepast tijdens mijn vakantie. Helaas kreeg Pjotr net in die week een wondje aan zijn pootje, maar Jet heeft hem ontzettend goed verzorgd. We hadden tussentijds veel contact, wat mij enorm geruststelde. Ik kan haar van harte aanbevelen!

Leuke lieve oppas

Wij hebben zelf altijd honden gehad (schapendoes, wolfskees). Nu hebben we een bernedoodle. Wij hebben 4 kinderen die opgegroeid zijn met dieren en het leuk vinden om met ze te spelen en te knuffelen. Mijn kinderen gaan vaak mee de hond uitlaten, zij zijn echt dol op dieren. Ze zouden het leuk vinden om ook andere honden uit te laten en lekker mee te knuffelen maar meestal wandel ik alleen. Mocht uw hond niet met andere honden samen kunnen, of niet met kinderen, geef dit even aan dan houd ik hier rekening mee. Hier logeren is ook een optie maar is erg beperkt. Hier ben ik best kieskeurig in. Hij/zij moet nl goed samen gaan met kleine kinderen en een grote hond. Ook mag hij/zij niet veel blaffen en in de nacht in een bench slapen. We houden van een logeerhondje maar dit moet een 'feestje' zijn voor beide! Komt je hondje voor de eerste keer bij ons thuis? Dan plannen we eerst een ochtend in (€15,-) om te kijken of het een 'match' is.

Superleuke opvang! Goeie communicatie en Charlie heeft het onwijs leuk gehad. Aanrader!

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I help with socialization, basic training, and supporting dogs with different behavioral needs. I’ve completed training focused on fearful and reactive dogs, as well as an 8-week course tailored to an individual dog’s needs. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. Spending time with other dogs is one of the ways I still feel close to him and I know he’d be happy to see me doing this. ❤️ Having loved Milo as much as I did, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. So no worries, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated with plenty of pictures and little updates along the way. 😊 I live with my boyfriend, and we both have flexible schedules. Our place is just 15 minutes from Vondelpark and close to two local dog parks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and have fun.
