I am so happy with the care Billie received! He was clearly very happy staying with Alejandro and his partner. They took such good personal care of him and were flexible and incredibly sweet with all of Billie’s needs — including his zoomies. They sent me pictures while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. They are warm and welcoming people, and you can really feel that they care. Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Kan ook erg goed met katten, in mijn studentenhuis in Utrecht altijd een kat gehad. Ik vind het leuk om om dieren heen te zijn en krijg er altijd energie van. Zelf ben ik sportief, zorgzaam en lief. Met dieren houd ik van knuffelen, lange wandelingen buiten, spelen en lekker samen op de bank liggen. Bij mij zou je huisdier veilig zijn, hopelijk op zijn/haar gemak en veel aandacht krijgen aangepast op wat hij/zij nodig heeft! Liefs, Fee

Dogs are my favourite people

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

Ik ben vaak liever omringd door dieren dan door mensen. Waarom? Door de onvoorwaardelijke liefde en enthousiasme die ze brengen. Ik wandel veel en neem graag een hond mee. Vrienden hebben ook honden en daar zorg ik graag voor. Ik heb ervaring met kleine en grote honden. Mijn ouders hebben een teckel. Vrienden hebben een Weimaraner, een vuilnisbakras uit Griekenland, een rottweiler en een Duitse herder. Ik pas ook vaker op de kat van een vriendin waar ik dan of slaap of langsga om even te knuffelen. Wat over mijn eigen hobbies; ik wandel graag en ben veel buiten. Ook sport ik vaak. Ik ben graag thuis waar ik alleen woon en hou van uitgebreid koken. Een hond zou hier rust vinden en zou veel liefde en aandacht krijgen. Het is voor mij niet mogelijk om een hond een langere periode achter elkaar in huis te geven, omdat ik ook vaak dagen weg ben. Dagopvang en een nachtje logeren kan natuurlijk wel. Ook zou ik wel een langere peride in het huis van het baasje kunnen verblijven.

Het lijkt mij heerlijk om in een andere mooie omgeving voor een lieve andere sociale hond ( en ) te zorgen, mits ik Zoya ,mijn Siberische Husky mee kan/mag nemen.Samen te wandelen, te spelen en genieten van de omgeving ( mogen ook andere dieren bij zijn natuurlijk :)) Eind 2019 aan werk gegaan als vrijwilliger bij een dierenasiel op de honden afdeling. Begin van Corona, was ik daar zo'n 3 tot 4x p.w.en hielp de kennels schoonmaken, wandelen, socialiseren, trainen van de honden, inwerken nieuwe mensen, ondersteunen vrijwilligers, bijeenkomsten enz. Veel geleerd en meer passie voor de honden gekregen. Hierdoor besloten o.a. een opleiding te volgen tot hondengedragstherapeut Tevens met 8 anderen in dienst geweest als Puppyteam voor 7 maanden In wisseldiensten, 18 Drachtige mama's ondersteund + socialisatie met geboorte van totaal 142 pups en bijkomende werkzaamheden. Een bijzondere en rijke ervaring. Daarna blijven hangen bij het hondenteam zelf. Nu niet meer werkzaam bij het asiel, wel zelf coachen en trainen van honden en mensen. Tevens Sport & Ontspanning therapeut. Daarvoor jaren in evenementen branche gewerkt. Beurzen, congressen, evenementen nat.+Int. Alles zzp, wat mij vooral de laatste jaren zeer flexibel maakt:) Ik hou van de natuur en buiten zijn. Vooral bos,duin,heide. Wandelingen maken en omgeving verkennen, studie, maar ook rust en samen zijn met hond ( en ) + dieren Of andere bijkomende werkzaamheden.Steek graag de handen uit de mouwen!
