Ben een enorme dierenvriend, maar mijn leven laat het niet toe om zelf huisdieren te nemen. Via een vriendin samen met haar op honden gepast via deze app en wil dit zelf ook graag vaker doen! Thuis hadden we twee lieve labradoodles, dus wandelen, spelen, verzorgen en vooral heel veel knuffelen met honden is voor mij altijd heel vanzelfsprekend geweest. 🐾 Met mijn baan als consultant lukt het me helaas niet om zelf fulltime een hond te hebben, hoe graag ik dat ook zou willen. Ik heb daardoor veel ervaring met het verzorgen van honden en weet hoe belangrijk het is dat een hond zich veilig, ontspannen en op zijn gemak voelt bij iemand anders. Ik wandel zelf graag en vind het heerlijk om samen op pad te gaan, maar ben minstens zo blij met een gezellige avond op de bank en een hond die graag komt knuffelen. Lief, enthousiast en gek op honden.

Heerlijk buiten wandelen en lekker kroelen en spelen binnen. Ik vind alle honden geweldig en heb zelf een hele lieve Engelse Cocker Spaniel (vrouwtje). Ik werk 40 uur in de week maar ook veel thuis dus ik ben heel flexibel. Ook in het weekend flexibel. Hou erg van wandelen en buiten zijn. [ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time.
