Niets leuker dan een hond!

Wij hebben altijd veel dieren in huis gehad, niet alleen honden maar ook varkens, schaapen en nog veel meer. Maar honden vond ik altijd het allerleukst. Voor hun kun je zorgen, met hun kun je spelen en ze zijn altijd gelukkig om je te zien. Ik heb 20 jaar ervaring met honden, we hebben huskeys, golden retrievers, border collies en terriers gehad. Helaas heb ik op dit moment zelf geen hond vanwege beperkte tijd en daarom heb ik me voor Petbnb ingeschreven omdat ik het heel erg mis om een hondje in huis te hebben. Ik vind lange wandelingen met honden geweldig, naar het bos, het park of zelfs door de stad. In bed bij mij mag ook maar niet op de bank. Lekker chillen, kroelen en een filmpje samen kijken of een lekker bot halen want die zijn goed voor de tanden. Natuurlijk hoor ik ook graag wat bij het baasje mag want als daar iets niet mag, mag het bij mij natuurlijk ook niet en anders gewoon lekker verwennen en samen spelen :-) ik vertel graag meer indien nodig!

In mijn gezellige woning op de 2e verdieping vlak aan het Erasmuspark is een plekje vrij voor een oppashond! Samen kunnen we wandelen in een van Amsterdam’s mooie parken, knuffelen op de bank en chillen op een van de 2 balkons. Ik werk regelmatig thuis en ben vrij flexibel met mijn werkplekken, en dat combineer ik graag met het gezelschap van een oppashond. Mijn kantoor is dog-friendly en mijn collega’s vinden het altijd super leuk als ik een oppashond meeneem, dus aandacht en knuffels in overvloed! Logeren mag ten slotte bij mij thuis, of ik kom gezellig op bezoek in de vertrouwde omgeving van jouw hond. Our dog stayed with Linda for a day while we visited various museums. Everything went really well, from communication to reliability. We didn’t have a meet-and-greet beforehand and went straight to the handover. Linda kept us updated with photos throughout the day, so we could see how our dog was doing. Our dog felt very comfortable with her, and I can highly recommend Linda’s dog-sitting services!

She doesn't have enough experience with dogs and has very questionable decisions. She gave too much treat to our dog which made her vomit. She didn't inform us about it, told us everything is good. After taking Gigi back, we noticed that Gigi's bed is covered with vomit and there was vomit stains on all her body. Apparently she let her sleep in vomit and didn't clean the bed and Gigi. Another unusual thing was that she decided not to take off her leash because she didn't want to "hurt her". So she thought that leaving her on the leash for 6 days is a good idea. She took it off only after we insisted. All in all, I don't think she knows how to take care of dogs.

Liefdevolle plek voor jouw lieve maatje

Ik ben gek op honden, vind het heel gezellig met een hond in huis en hou er van lekker met ze te wandelen. Doordat ik regelmatig reis heb ik geen eigen hond meer, maar is het des te leuker regelmatig op te passen. Ik ben als kind met honden opgegroeid en heb zelf twee honden gehad. Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Naast mijn werk als interieurontwerper pas ik met veel liefde op huisdieren. Omdat ik vanuit huis werk en flexibel ben, heb ik hier de ruimte voor.
