Hi dear friends, My name is Görkem. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had animals in my life. I truly love them, and spending time with them brings me so much joy — they add real meaning to my life. Over the years, I’ve had many pets, including cats, birds, and fish. I’ve also taken care of many friends’ dogs. I spent a long time volunteering at an animal shelter, where I walked lots of dogs of different breeds. I even followed a course at an animal hospital to learn more about working with dogs. I don’t have official first-aid training for animals, but I do have hands-on experience. I’m 25 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Cooking, talking, lounging around. He would follow me from room to room like a shadow with a tail. Since moving abroad, I miss him more than anything. Right now I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own, but I really miss the company. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and thought, why not do it more often. I live with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs and works hybrid, mostly from home. Together, we share the care of any dogs I dog sit, making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. If one of us is away, the other is always there, so the dog is never left alone, and if they are, it is only for a very short time. His picture can be seen in the library with the other photos. Paula was available to dogsit Enzo in very short notice, and accomodated him amazingly. Not only was it very easy to communicate beforehand, on the day itself I received pictures and regular updates, he had nice long walks and loads of cuddles. I work in Marketing and living south of vondelpark , , Amsterdam. My house is a 2BHK and quite spacious. My flatmate and i love dogs and dogs are great company to have! I also really enjoy going on walks so having pawprints along my walk is always fun. I treat a dog as a homie and will take care of it like my own :) I do not speak Dutch and dog love has no language. The dog owner needs to feel comfortable on few important points - the dog is well taken care of and a priority (not left on it's own, fed on time & taken for walks) and the dog is comfortable with the babysitter. Therefore, when i baby sit a dog, i'll ensure that i take care of it. I also love having a dog around as they are adorable and usually the dog shares the same with me. For dog sitting, I would like to understand any Do and don'ts, if any. I prefer to take dogs that are trained not to pee in the house and the dog must be vaccinated. Also, if any food needs to be given to the dog, the owner must provide me with the same. ( I ofcourse have some dog treats but not full meals) Lastly, if i keep your dog please be rest assured that the dog will be happy and safe : )

Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Onze 2 husky’s, gunna en Odin, gaan inmiddels al langere tijd met heel veel plezier naar Hannah. Afgelopen maand zijn wij een maand op vakantie geweest en hebben de honden ruim drie weken bij haar verbleven. Het is echt ontzettend goed gegaan. Hannah zorgt supergoed voor ze. Ze wandelt veel met ze, houdt rekening met wat ze nodig hebben en zorgt ervoor dat ze zowel fysiek als mentaal genoeg uitdaging en aandacht krijgen. We kregen iedere dag fijne updates, waardoor we met een heel gerust gevoel op reis konden zijn. Ze is ontzettend lief, zorgzaam en voorzichtig met de honden en je merkt aan alles dat ze echt om ze geeft. Gunna en Odin zijn helemaal gek op haar en voelen zich duidelijk heel erg op hun gemak bij haar. We hadden ons geen betere oppas kunnen wensen en zouden Hannah zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden. Onze honden blijven absoluut bij haar terugkomen!

Opgegroeid met honden (Golden Retrievers). Heerlijk om een hond om je heen te hebben, te knuffelen, tegenaan te kletsen, en uit te laten. Ze zijn ten allen tijden welkom om overdag te komen of te logeren - dit geeft voor mij de voorkeur. In overleg kunnen we kijken wat het beste uitkomt/matcht voor baasje en hond. Flexibel in thuiswerken, maar de vrijdagen ben ik wel vaak op kantoor. Mijn vriend is ook opgevoed met honden (Catalaanse herders) en is af en toe ook beschikbaar om op te passen. In overleg met het baasje geven we dat ook aan. Onze voorkeur gaat uit naar kleine tot middelgrote honden in verband met ons huis op de 1e en 2e etage met trap. In de buurt bij ons is veel voor de honden; Elswout, het strand en verschillende veldjes/bossen. Neem vooral contact op als je vragen hebt.

Maud is uiterst prettig en flexibel in communicatie. We hebben na een prettige kennismaking onze 5 maande oude pup met vertrouwen achtergelaten. Maud weet in te spelen op de behoeftes welke een pup nodig heeft, rust vs. uitdaging/beweging, waardoor onze Lio voldaan, maar zeker niet overprikkeld opgehaald kon worden. Zeker een aan te raden oppas, gezien onze pup volledig blij, kwispelend bij de voordeur van maud staat te wachten! Maud dankjewel!
