I recently swapped my desk job in sustainability consulting for the great outdoors to follow my true passion, caring for dogs. Twiggy is not the easiest dog to handle, she is quite anxious and has her moods. but Sarah did a great job. Twiggy trusted her and spent a great time at Sarah’s place. The communication with Sarah was very easy and nice, she was also quite flexible accommodating the timing of bringing Twiggy. Everything went very well and I would totally reach out again if I need a place for Twiggy to stay 😊

Dierenvilla op de Herengracht 🐾

Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Kan ook erg goed met katten, in mijn studentenhuis in Utrecht altijd een kat gehad. Ik vind het leuk om om dieren heen te zijn en krijg er altijd energie van. Zelf ben ik sportief, zorgzaam en lief. Met dieren houd ik van knuffelen, lange wandelingen buiten, spelen en lekker samen op de bank liggen. ik ben een echte hondengek

ik heb als kind altijd dieren om me heen gehad. Van paarden tot honden, van vogels tot konijnen. Mis dat nog steeds, zeker als het om honden gaat. Mag weleens oppassen op de hond van mijn baas maar dat is maar sporadisch. Since leaving my parents place when I was 18, I have been craving to be able to take care of dogs. During my whole childhood I grew up around (big) dogs at my grandparent's house as well as at my home. My grandpa taught me the do's and don'ts and how to train them and I would regularly take care of their dogs as well as the dogs of family friends. From age 10 to 18 we also had a male German Sheppard at home who I always felt was my "bear" brother. I'm definitely the kind of guy who will stop in the middle of the street to chat with someone about their dog and ask if I can pet him/her. I'm not afraid of any type of dog and feel confident being able to impose myself when needed while remaining calm and respectful. I'm a sporty guy who goes outside a lot and likes to go for long walks in nature or a run - also with my friends or my girlfriend. I could play with dogs for hours. I currently live on the top floor of a spacious flat with rooftop in Oud West near most of the big parks including Westerpark, Rembrandtpark, Erasmuspark and Vondelpark. Regarding the prices and hours, I'm quite flexible and happy to discuss them with you as for me this is really more of a pleasure than a side job. I currently work at New Balance and am flexible to work from home whenever I want and to structure my days to my needs.
