Dogs are my favourite people

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

Dierenvriend zoekt vrienden:)

Ben een enorme dierenvriend, maar mijn leven laat het niet toe om zelf huisdieren te nemen. Via een vriendin samen met haar op honden gepast via deze app en wil dit zelf ook graag vaker doen! Heerlijk om op deze manier te genieten van huisdieren:). Ik heb mijn eigen appartement op loopafstand van het Vondelpark. Loop er zelf al graag, met een hond nog leuker. Veel vrienden en familie met honden en katten, dus bekend met wat de zorg voor huisdieren inhoudt. Heb een baan waar ik ook regelmatig thuis werk, waardoor het makkelijk te combineren is. Wij zorgen graag met veel liefde voor jouw hond!

Wij zijn gek op honden! We hebben zelf, toen er nog geen kinderen waren, een dwergpincher geadopteerd. Dit was ons eerste kind. Hij kwam met een rugzakje, maar met veel geduld en liefde hebben we hem een paar hele mooie jaren kunnen bieden en zijn rugzakje een stuk kunnen verlichten. Toen onze zoon net geboren was, werden wij eigenaren van een New English Bulldog pup. Wij dachten dat dit wel een goed idee was, maar de energie van deze pup (en daarna puber) was ongelooflijk. Met veel pijn in ons hart hebben we heel lang een zorgvuldig gezocht naar een nieuw huis voor onze Louie. Een plek waar ze volledig de tijd en aandacht aan hem konden geven. Daar is hij nu zielsgelukkig en we krijgen gelukkig af en toe nog steeds foto's en filmpjes van een blije bull. Hoe graag we ook weer een hond zouden willen, weten we dat het nu niet de tijd is. Wij hebben geen tijd om fulltime voor een hond te zorgen, niet met de aandacht en energie die elke hond verdient. Gelukkig hebben mijn ouders een teckel waar we soms op passen en waar we vaak mee kunnen knuffelen en spelen. En dit zouden we graag vaker doen! Onze zoon (6) en dochter(4 jaar) zijn gek op honden en leren door middel van de verschillende honden waar we op passen, hoe het is om te zorgen voor een dier. We gaan graag met onze oppashond spelen, knuffelen en wandelen en helpen daarmee iemand anders. Tijdens het oppassen houden we jullie op de hoogte door middel van foto's en filmpjes!

ik had een last minute oppas nodig en gelukkig was Hanna beschikbaar. De communicatie ging makkelijk en snel. het is allemaal goed gegaan en werd regelmatig op de hoogte gehouden. :heart_hands:

Me and my husband are both dog lovers and grew up with dogs around. We want a dog of our own, but currently we live in a rental apartment and we both work a lot. We think that right now our lives are to volatile to raise a pup, but we never let the chance of dogsitting slip away when our friends need some help 🌸 I got to know very different dogs in my life and I understand that they might need patience and different approaches. I knew dogs that suffer from anxiety, some are just goofballs that need a lot of entertainment and some of them can be really uptight and defensive. But there is nothing more rewarding than earning a dogs trust. For example, here in Amsterdam I am regularly taking care of my friends foster dog. She’s been through a lot of hardships in life, but after a while I was finally able to earn her trust and my friend can travel on the weekends 🥰 I see dogsitting as a wonderful opportunity for me to share the love for dogs and support dog owners, while currently our life situation doesn’t allow us to adopt one ourselves.

Daria was great for Pablo. Required a lot of patience as my little friend can be very stubborn. In the end he looked very happy!

Hondenvriend die meteen vertrouwd wordt

Ik laat al ruim zeven jaar honden uit voor buurtgenoten. Heb snel veel vertrouwen bij ze geboekt en een goede band met ze opgebouwd. Ze voelen meteen dat ik het goed met ze voor heb. Lekker wandelen in het park, het liefst zonder riem, als mogelijk. Ik laat ze graag genieten van wat vrijheid, maar ben ook duidelijk in mijn bevelen. Laat ze lekker spelen met bal of stok. Er staat in mijn profiel dat ik geen buitenruimte heb, dwz geen tuin, maar wel een heerlijk balkon. Als het een langere periode is dat honden bij mij verblijven, maximaal 1 week, moet de hond wel even alleen gelaten kunnen worden. Als de hond goed alleen kan zijn, is een langere periode bespreekbaar. Als je hond makkelijk mee te nemen is of een paar uur alleen kan zijn, dan is mijn kalender flexibeler. nu staan de dagen aangevinkt waarop ik geen afspraak heb. Ik ben een betrouwbaar iemand, die altijd haar afspraken nakomt. Eventuele referenties daarvoor kun je krijgen bij de hondeneigenaren van mijn uitlaathonden, of Petbnb reviews. Ik pas het liefst op kleine tot middelgrote honden. Ik ben zelf nl. ook niet zo groot. Ik heb de cursus ‘liefdevolle communicatie met je hond’ bij Stressless dogs gedaan.

Brigitte is een ontzettend lieve en enthousiaste hondenliefhebber. Ze wil alles over je hond weten om zo goed mogelijk voor haar logé te kunnen zorgen. Ze stuurt fijne updates en foto’s. Ruby was helemaal op haar gemak, en ik dus ook. Geen moment twijfel of ze wel in goede handen was. ook verwacht zeker dat Ruby vaker zal gaan logeren bij Brigitte :smiley:. I grew up surrounded by animals, sharing my home with three cats, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. For the past few months I've been looking after a 3-month-old Dachshund puppy every day, which taught me a lot about patience, routine and basic training, from potty breaks to leash walking. That experience is what made me want to start caring for other dogs too. On our walks, your dog will get plenty of exercise, sniffing time and attention, always at a pace that suits them. I keep dogs on a leash unless you tell me otherwise, check that harnesses are secure, and carry water and poop bags. I'll follow your dog's usual routine and send you photo updates so you know exactly how they're doing. I am so happy with the care Billie received! He was clearly very happy staying with Alejandro and his partner. Hondenoppas met veel ervaring met grote honden

Als ervaren hondenbezitter heb ik jarenlang met veel plezier een Oud-Duitse Herder en een Berner Sennen gehad. Hierbij heb ik zelf de volledige opvoeding gedaan en ben daardoor goed bekend met het gedrag, de behoeften en de kracht van grote honden. Overigens zijn kleine honden ook welkom. Op dit moment heb ik zelf even geen tijd om weer een hond te nemen, maar wél de tijd, ruimte en aandacht om op te passen. Ik heb een gelijkvloers huis met tuin, wat ideaal is voor honden die graag makkelijk naar buiten gaan of minder goed trappen lopen.
