Flexibele honden lover in Amsterdam

Ik ben 30 jaar oud en altijd opgegroeid (vanaf 2 jaar oud) met een hond. Dus uiteraard wil ik graag zelf op termijn ook een hond ; maar for the time being zou ik heel graag willen oppassen. Sowieso om een hond in te masseren bij mijn vriend ;) maar vooral omdat ik honden zo leuk vind! Ik vind het heerlijk om met mijn moeder en de hond te wandelen en loop ook graag hard met een hond (altijd wel een hardloop wedstrijd waar ik voor train dus de nodige KM in het bos zijn zeker aanwezig)! Gezellig om tijdens thuiswerken een buddy te hebben voor mijn standaard wandelingen tussen het werken door. En natuurlijk voor knuffel en speelsessies als werk afleiding!

Het lijkt me leuk om te mogen zorgen voor uw hond en buiten te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen (als zij dat ook willen natuurlijk!). Ik ben als student nog heel flexibel in mijn beschikbaarheid en zeer zorgvuldig in mijn planning zodat ik genoeg tijd kan maken voor jouw maatje :) Ik heb vroeger met mijn ouders een oude belgische herder uit het asiel in huis genomen om hem een leukere plek te geven tot zijn overlijden. Ik werkte destijds ook als vrijwilliger in het asiel bij de honden. Mijn opa had ook altijd een hond en ik vind het erg leuk om met honden te werken en hun persoonlijkheid beter te leren kunnen. Van corgi’s tot Duitse herders, we kennen en begrijpen de behoeften van verschillende soorten en maten honden. Dankzij ons flexibele werk is het altijd mogelijk ervoor te zorgen dat één van ons thuis is om de hond gezelschap te houden en voldoende aandacht te geven. Mijn vriend en ik wonen in een appartement op de begane grond (70m2) met een afgesloten tuin (26m2) in Amsterdam Oost, op wandelafstand van zowel het Oosterpark als het Flevopark – perfect voor zowel korte als lange wandelingen. Het hele appartement is gelijkvloers en er is genoeg ruimte voor een hondenbench of grote mand. Ook hebben we een werkkamer waar de hond kan slapen als dat fijn is. We zijn flexibel met het afspreken van ophaal- en brengmomenten. Laat het vooral weten als je een keertje kennis wilt maken! 😊

Belle was absolutely fantastic and our Mochi loved her time with her! She sent constant updates, loads of cuddles, and walks in mochis favorite park. We would highly recommend and hope to have you both watch Mochi again soon 😊

We highly recommend!!! Carmen and Daniel took care of Bento (our beloved 4 legged son :feet::dog2:) for almost a month and it went super smoothly! they kept us updated, sending photos and videos everyday. [ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. Your Dog's Full-Time Fun Manager!

Animals have always been part of who I am. I wanted to be a vet from the time I was little, and my life has been full of dogs and cats ever since. It started when I was 8. I was the kid in the neighborhood who'd happily walk your dog or look after your cat, and I was always hanging around the local vet clinics asking if I could help. My first volunteer job was with an organization that cared for stray animals, where I helped get them ready for their vet visits. At 10, I started volunteering at a shelter attached to a veterinary university. Every day after school, I walked my two favorites, Guinness and Hennessy. I also played with them, fed them, cleaned their enclosures, and started learning about training. As a teenager, I started my own dog-walking business, and it took off. I looked after 7 to 10 dogs every day, from clever Shiba Inus to gentle Saint Bernards. I did long walks, washed muddy paws, handled feeding, and kept pets company when their owners worked long hours. I felt like part of each family, and I still love remembering the puppies I watched grow into big, beautiful dogs. At boarding school, I started an Animal Volunteering Club so my friends and I could keep visiting shelters. More recently, I lived on a horse farm in the US and cared for five farm dogs, which taught me a lot about their strength and stamina. I've also had a dog of my own, so I know both the love and the responsibility that come with it. My Availability I'm a student at Utrecht University, so my schedule changes by semester, but I'm flexible and happy to work around you. I'm an early riser and can do walks from 6:00 AM. Most weekdays I'm free after 5:00 PM, and I can often fit in afternoon visits if we arrange it ahead of time.

Dierenvilla op de Herengracht 🐾

Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Kan ook erg goed met katten, in mijn studentenhuis in Utrecht altijd een kat gehad. Ik vind het leuk om om dieren heen te zijn en krijg er altijd energie van. Zelf ben ik sportief, zorgzaam en lief. Ik heb zelf 2 kleine hondjes en 2 katten. Heel erg gezellig! Het lijkt me erg leuk om eens op een ander hondje te passen. Ik ben betrouwbaar, betrokken, enthousiast en communicatief en ik zal heel goed op je hond(je) passen. Ik weet hoe belangrijk het is dat je hond in veilige handen is.
