Petbnb Referral Terms and Conditions

How to Earn Referral Credits
Petbnb users can earn credits to use on future Petbnb bookings if:
- a referred friend clicks on their referral link to create a valid Petbnb account that complies with our Terms of Service; and
- the referred friend completes a booking as a pet owner.
The referring Petbnb user will be credited with the Petbnb Credit amount described in the referral invitation, provided Petbnb believes beyond all certainty that the referral and booking are not fraudulent.
For the avoidance of doubt the referred user must be a completely new user, i.e. they can’t have an existing account nor made a previous booking.
Redeeming Referral Credit
A referred user may use Petbnb Credit as part payment or full payment for any Petbnb service (boarding, day care, walking, drop-in visits or house sitting).
If the total amount of a booking is equal or less than the value of the coupon/credit, we will need to charge a €2 fee, as bookings must have a nominal price for insurance purposes.
Petbnb Credit used by a referred user in excess of the booking amount will be forfeited (e.g., if a €10 Credit is used for a €5 booking, the remaining €5 will not be usable for future bookings).
A referring user may use Petbnb Credit in part payment towards any Qualifying Booking which is currently defined as any booking which has a total value (excluding service fees) of €50 or more and must be booked and paid for via the Petbnb platform.
If a booking is a qualifying booking, then Petbnb Credit will automatically appear as Petbnb credit on the checkout page.
Petbnb Credits must be used:
- For a referred user: within 90 days from the date they are issued. After 90 days the Petbnb Credits will expire.
- For a referring user: within one year from the date they are issued. After one year the Petbnb Credits will expire.
Petbnb Credits are coupons issued for promotional purposes; they have no cash value and may not be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Petbnb Credits may not be earned by creating multiple Petbnb accounts. Petbnb Credits accrued in separate Petbnb accounts may not be combined into one Petbnb account.
If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your balance of Petbnb Credits, please contact us. All decisions regarding your balance will be final and at Petbnb’s sole discretion.
You are responsible for any Tax consequences, if any, that may result from your redemption or use of Petbnb Credits. Where applicable, Petbnb may be required to account for VAT on any services for which the Petbnb Credits are redeemed.
Sharing Referral Links
Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations. Referral links should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal friends (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia).
Multiple Referrals
A referred friend may only use one referral link. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple Petbnb Users, only the corresponding Petbnb User of the referral link used by the referred friend will receive Petbnb Credit.
Severability
If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Termination and Changes
Petbnb may suspend or terminate the Referral Programme or a user’s ability to participate in the Referral Programme at any time for any reason.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Petbnb Credits if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Petbnb Terms of Service. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Petbnb Credits can change at any time.
Updates to the Terms
We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Petbnb.nl website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Referral Programme after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
