I've looked after dogs at horse stables and competitions, and I also volunteered in an animal shelter back home as a dog walker. Even though I do have some experience with bigger dogs, I am mainly used to smaller and medium-sized dogs, although every dog is different and I am open to working something out with bigger dogs as well! I have the most experience with terriers. Due to my current living situation, I cannot bring your dog/s to my place, but I am happy to look after them in your home, or take them on fun walks. I am generally a very active and sporty person, so I will enjoy giving your dog/s a fun and challenging walk that will be rewarding to both of us. My study schedules change frequently so I may be available at different times each week, but generally I am free in the mornings and evenings or at night, and for weekends it depends on how busy I am during that time period. Beste lezer, afgelopen maand is mijn hond helaas komen te overlijden. Elke donderdag ging ik altijd met hem naar het strand of andere locaties om een grote wandeling te maken. Echter na zijn overlijden mis ik deze wandeling en het gezelschap van een hond. Wegens tijdsgebrek om een hond fulltime op te voeden lijkt het mij toch leuk om op de donderdag toch nog de gezelligheid van een hond te hebben. Zou ik u kunnen helpen om uw hond van zijn/haar wandelingen te voorzien? Stuur gerust een berichtje. Ik ben zoals hierboven beschreven alleen op donderdag beschikbaar en alleen op de dagen aangegeven in de agenda. Ik beschik over al het materiaal om een hond in huis te hebben. Eisen vanuit mij: - De hond moet los kunnen lopen en kunnen reageren op commando’s - De hond vindt het niet erg om 15-30 minuten alleen thuis te zijn - De hond moet gezellig zijn - De hond is zinderlijk - De hond vindt het niet erg om in een bench in de auto te zitten. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb mij altijd geïnteresseerd in honden en hun gedrag, hun doen en denken. Zelf heb ik een vrolijke actieve hond van momenteel 5 jaar oud. We zijn altijd samen op pad, maken lange wandelingen, we houden van spelen en mentale uitdagingen (parcours afleggen/agility). Eenmaal thuis kan hij goed zijn rust vinden en slaapt hij graag. Mij lijkt het ontzettend leuk om op hondjes te passen en samen met met mijn hond en jouw hond een leuke dag te beleven. Daarnaast is het voor mij een win-win, aangezien ik er zelf weer kan van leren op het gebied van honden psychologie :)! Met een rustige, en juiste introductie kan mijn hond in principe met alle honden. Mijn hond vindt grote honden erg spannend, vandaar dat ik heb aangegeven alleen op kleine tot middelgrote honden te willen oppassen.

Timmi heeft een geweldige tijd gehad! Sofie is heel begaan met haar geweest en heeft haar ook lekker gedrild en onder de duim gehouden. De match met haar hond was top, dikke maatjes waren ze. Tussendoor veel foto's en filmpjes gekregen en heel gerust m'n hondenkind achter kunnen laten bij Sofie.

Hoi, ik ben Jasmine! Ik heb de afgelopen 22 jaren van mijn leven met honden geleefd. Nu mijn woonlocatie (vier hoog) wat ongunstiger is voor lieftallige viervoeters, sta ik te popelen hondenoppas te worden. Lekker te wandelen in bossen en aan stranden. Gezellig spelletjes te spelen, om ze zowel fysiek als mentaal te blijven stimuleren. En natuurlijk rust te pakken wanneer ze dat nodig hebben! Alhoewel ik vrij nieuw ben in het “hondenoppasveld” (sinds 4 augustus aangemeld), heb ik wel wat ervaring met het passen op honden. Ik liet vaak, met veel plezier, de Beagle van mijn buurvrouw uit. Ook heb ik even op een Cocker Spaniel puppy gepast (Lola, op mijn profielfoto). Die was zelf geen fan van wandelen, dus heb daar vooral veel mee geknuffeld en gespeeld :D. Zou u het leuk vinden uw viervoeter aan mij toe te vertrouwen, hoor ik dat graag! U mag mij ook altijd een persoonlijk bericht sturen om even kennis te maken. Ik kan me voorstellen dat het toch vaak spannend kan zijn om je beste vriend(in) bij een vreemde achter te laten. Misschien tot dan!

Johnpaul heeft gepast op onze puppy. Er werd gedurende de dag goed gecommuniceerd wat erg fijn is want hij was bij ons thuis :) Ollie is beide keren lang uitgelaten en we ontvingen leuke filmpjes waar op te zien was dat ze het leuk hadden gehad.
