For as long as I can remember I've had dogs of my own, fostered rescue dogs, and helped friends/family with their pets. I love interacting with dogs and learning new things about them. A few years ago, I figured out that dogsitting was a great fit for my lifestyle and never looked back! When your dog comes to stay with me, they will become a member of the family alongside my own dog: Merlin, a Spanish greyhound mix! He is balanced, calm and social. Other dogs naturally look to him as a role model, and he is delighted to play the part. Together, we will take walks in Haagse Bos or Scheveningen beach, cuddle on the couch, run errands in dog-friendly spaces like the gardening center, or visit friends... I work hybrid between my home and my office (which is a 15 minute bike ride away). This gives me flexibility to offer the following services: 🛌 Boarding 🛌 - The quoted price per day guarantees a minimum of two 20-30 minute walks, and one 45-60 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. - An extra guaranteed 20-30 minute walk can be purchased for an additional €7 per day. - You will receive daily photo/video updates about your dog during their first stay. Repeat clients can get daily updates upon request, otherwise updates will be every 1-3 days. - I have to be at my office a couple of days per week. If your need me to look after your dog during periods that include office days, they need to be okay to stay at home with Merlin for up to 8 hours. Upon request, I am able to bike home during my lunch break to let your dog out for an additional €7 per office day. - Extra guaranteed walks must be requested and paid for before the booking begins. 🌞 Doggie Daycare 🌞 - The quoted price for this service applies to Tuesdays and Thursdays during office hours. - Drop-off in the morning is flexible, pickup has to be before 18h. - For doggie daycare outside of the described times, a different price applies based on the specifics of the desired booking. Feel free to reach out if you have different needs! - The quoted price guarantees one 20-30 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. Depending on my schedule and yours, your dog might get a second walk. - Extra guaranteed walks cannot be purchased for this service. - New daycare clients will receive one photo/video update per stay, regular clients will receive them upon request. 🏡 Housesitting 🏡 - For this service I will stay in your home overnight with your pets. - The same conditions apply as Boarding, with the addition that my dog Merlin must be able to stay with me and your pets at your home. - I am also experienced with cats, and a different daily price can be negotiated for them. 🐶 General 🐶 - A 'Guaranteed Walk' refers to the minimum daily walks that your dog will get during their stay. Some days we might walk more, but never less. Extra walks which weren't requested & paid for before the booking started won't be charged extra, so there will never be any surprise charges for walks at the end of the booking. - Dogs will only be let off the leash with permission of the owner and if I fully trust them to stay nearby, in spaces where this is allowed. Special walking instructions will always be followed, unless doing so risks a dangerous situation. - Dogs are allowed on the sofa. Access to the bed comes with the condition of good behavior. - If a dog needs any meals during their stay, the owner must provide the food. I can provide bowls and fresh water. - Dogs will not be given human food at any point during their stay. They will only be given dog treats with permission from the owner. - Due to high demand during the school holiday periods, I do not offer boarding and house-sitting in those dates to new clients. This includes the Summer holidays, Autumn Midterm break, Christmas holidays, February break, and Spring break. This way I can guarantee a place to stay to dogs who are already familiar with me and my home, which is better for them than having to adapt to a new place every time. - The owner is responsible for informing me about any behavioral or health issues their dog might have. This allows me to prepare a safe and comfortable environment for them ahead of time. Undisclosed issues that cause problems during the dog's stay will result in refusal to accept future bookings, and the cancellation of other existing bookings. If you're not sure whether a particular behavior could be considered an issue, be sure to mention it to me anyways. - If your dog is very senior or has any serious health issues that increase the risk of emergencies, I require extended instructions on what to do if there's an emergency and you are not reachable. These instructions should be provided in writing before the booking starts. - Any veterinary costs made by the dog during their stay that aren't covered by the petbnb guarantees, are to be paid by the owner. - By booking with me you agree to the terms stipulated in this text. Julia is druk en doet het oppassen tegelijk met haar thuiswerk. Ik heb geen idee hoe leuk dit is voor onze hond Guus is. Er zijn ook altijd nog andere honden ook. Ik vind het moeilijk om in te schatten hoe het precies gaat.

Deze titel was de naam van me laatste hond die ik gehadt heb, een Tervuersen herder. Sinds mijn jeugd heb ik altijd iets met honden gehadt, en ondanks mijn jonge leeftijd was ik toen al verantwoordelijk voor 2 honden, beiden waren Gordon Setters. Uiteraard zijn er op latere leeftijd 2 andere honden in me leven verschenen, beiden Tervuersen herders, waar dus 1 hiervan de titel heeft verdiend. Met beiden heb ik gehoorzaamheid cursussen voor gevorderende gedaan, en later competities, namelijk zogenaamde hindernisbanen voor honden, wat ik geweldig vondt. De samenwerking die je opbouwt, en het vertrouwen dat de hond aan jouw geeft ervaar ik als iets, wat je niet zomaar met een ander kan delen. Helaas bevind ik me nu in de omstandigheden, dat ik niet dagelijks voor een hond kan zorgen, maar deze site bied voor mijn de ultieme oplossing; namelijk toch de gelegenheid krijgen om geregeld weer voor een hond te mogen zorgen! En ik vind het nu al heel erg leuk bij deze gedachte!

Dankjewel voor het oppassen op Luna. Ze heeft je erg uitgetest en is er bekaf van. Ze lag gelijk plat toen we thuis kwamen. Hopelijk dat ze langer in de cursus minder uittest en ook wat meer gaat rusten.

We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Inclusief hondenbadje voor de honden die daar van houden! Als jij je hond bij ons achterlaat, ben je verzekerd van de beste zorg die je maar kunt wensen. Wij maken gebruik van de nieuwste hondvriendelijke opvang- en trainingsmethoden. Ik ben opgeleid tot natuurlijk hondengedragdeskundige, waarbij het aangeboren, natuurlijke gedrag van de hond centraal staat. De hond mag bij ons lekker hond zijn. Elke hond is uniek en heeft eigen behoeftes en talenten, daar krijgt hij bij ons alle ruimte voor. Ik heb veel ervaring opgedaan met verschillende honden door mijn werk in een hondenpension, en alle hondjes die ik via Petbnb heb mogen ontvangen. We hebben geen kinderen; de honden krijgen onze onverdeelde aandacht. Goed opgevoede honden, vanaf ongeveer een jaar oud zijn van harte welkom bij ons thuis. Ik was dan ook dolgelukkig toen mijn zusje en ik een mooie kruising kregen van een Labrador en een Herder. Hij was 3 jaar oud toen wij hem kregen uit een asiel. Tot zijn 16e was Banjer mijn kleine broertje met wie ik veel avonturen heb beleefd. Momenteel past het niet in mijn leven om zelf de zorg te dragen voor een hond. Dat is de reden dat ik graag de zorg voor honden van anderen (tijdelijk) uit handen neem. Jouw huisdier, ‘kindje’ beland bij mij in ‘Doggy Camp Scheveningen’, een paradijs voor honden vol gezelligheid, liefde en zorgzaamheid. Als jij zelf een avondje, dagje, weekend weg of op vakantie bent dan gun jij je hond toch ook het beste? Samen met mijn moeder (1948) zorgen wij met liefde voor jouw huisdier. Ik werk vanuit huis en ben deels mantelzorger. Mijn moeder is met pensioen, dat betekent dat er altijd iemand thuis is, wel zo gezellig voor de honden. Wil jij jouw hond laten overnachten bij ons? Gezellig, dat kan, want ik blijf dan ook overnachten om zorg te dragen voor de grote honden logeerpartij. Wij wonen in een huis met een grote afgesloten tuin waar je hond vrij kan rondlopen. In de zomer staat er zelfs een honden zwembad in de tuin en een relaxbed voor ze klaar. Wij verwennen de honden, maar de honden kennen wel hun plek bij ons en we zijn consequent. Mocht er onverhoopt iets gebeuren? Op nog geen 5 minuten lopen van ons huis is Dierenkliniek Scheveningen gelegen. Daarnaast is er ook een dierenwinkel in de buurt. Wil jij jouw hond voor langere tijd bij ons laten logeren? Ook dat kan, sommige honden hebben 4 weken bij ons gelogeerd. Neem contact op en vraag naar de mogelijkheden. Wij rekenen een toeslag van €15,- per dag tijdens feestdagen. Wil jij een reservering maken voor een vakantie? Wij hebben ervaring in het oppassen op huizen met honden, katten en kippen. Daarnaast hebben wij ervaring in het oppassen op boerderijen met paarden, honden, katten en kippen. Voor een huis- en dieren oppas aan huis vragen wij een ander tarief en het is alleen mogelijk vanaf minimaal 2 nachten. Wij komen wanneer u weggaat en wij vertrekken wanneer u thuiskomt. Het huis zal in dezelfde staat zijn als toen we aankwamen. Als u wilt, kunnen wij onze eigen bed- en handdoekenspullen meenemen. Zo kunnen wij goed kijken of een hond bij ons past en weten wij waar wij rekening mee kunnen houden. *Is de hond ergens bang voor of niet? *Op welke tijden laten jullie de hond uit? *Kan je hond loslopen tijdens wandelen? *Welke commando’s worden er gebruikt? *Wat en op welke tijden krijgt hij/zij te eten; *Blaft de hond ook in- en rondom huis in tuin? *Kan je hond wel of niet met andere honden samen in ons huis verblijven? Wat kan je verwachten van onze opvang service: *Als de hond bij ons is, dan krijgt hij/zij van ons een name tag met ons telefoonnummer voor het geval dat; *Wij hebben voerder- en drinkbakken, speeltjes voor de honden, oude handdoeken, honden snoepjes etc. Uiteraard mag je zelf ook dingen meenemen waar je hond aan gehecht is. Neem aub zelf eten mee voor de hond. *De eerste keer dat jouw hond bij ons komt zal hij of zij alleen zijn zodat wij de hond goed leren kennen. Wij hebben geen vaste honden op vaste dagen. Wij hebben wel vaste hondengasten die regelmatig bij ons komen. *De eerste keer zal je hond niet worden losgelaten, zodat wij eerst kunnen checken of de hond luistert naar jullie commando’s als wij dat gebruiken. *Er zullen maximaal 2 honden tegelijkertijd op ons adres aanwezig zijn. Dit doen wij alleen met honden die wij reeds kennen en na overleg met beide baasjes. *Wil je gegarandeerde 1 op 1 service van ons voor jouw hond? Dat kan, daarvoor vragen wij een hoger tarief per dag/nacht. *Zodra een hond voor dagopvang of logeren komt maken wij een groepsapp aan. Tijdens het verblijf van je hond zal je in de ochtend, middag en avond een foto of video update ontvangen over je hond. Belangrijk ter kennismaking Hoe lief jouw hond ook is en hoe goed hij thuis ook maar mag gehoorzamen. Onze ervaring is dat dat op andere locaties heel anders kan zijn. Indien je geïnteresseerd bent in onze honden oppasservice, dan wordt er altijd eerst een kennismaking gepland en een opvangdag afgesproken. Dat kan tegelijkertijd op 1 dag. Je kan hiervoor een reservering maken via onze agenda. Voor vakantieaanvragen geldt, dat de hond minimaal één nacht bij ons moet overnachten. Alleen op deze manier kunnen wij inschatten of wij voor een langere periode voor de hond willen zorgen. De reden dat wij dit aangeven zijn de volgende voorbeelden: “Mijn hond blaft nooit”> hier blaft hij non stop, ook de hele nacht; “Mijn hond is zeer goed opgevoed”> hier springt de hond op de tafel en hangt hij in de gordijnen; “Mannen/vrouwen, mijn hond is dol op mensen” > bij ons gromt en blaft de hond naar mannen; “Mijn hond luistert heel goed naar deze commando’s > achteraf gezien blijkt dat de hond thuis voornamelijk door een man is opgevoed en wordt uitgelaten, zodra wij er voor zorgen luistert hij nergens meer naar; "Mijn hond kan heel goed met andere honden"! > als baasjes met een hond gaan wandelen in het bos, vind de hond het leuk om met andere honden te spelen. If you're away for an evening, day, weekend or on vacation, don't you wish your dog the best? Together with my mother (1948) we take care of your pet with love. I work from home and am part carer. My mother is retired, which means that there is always someone at home, which is nice for the dogs. Do you want to let your dog stay overnight with us? Cozy, that's possible, because I stay overnight to take care of the dogs sleepover. We live in a house with a large garden where your dog can roam freely in an enclosed garden. In the summer there is even a dog pool in the garden and a relaxing bed ready for them. We spoil the dogs, but the dogs know their place with us. We can walk from home to the dunes, the beach and the forest. But we also like to take the dog with us in the car and let them out somewhere else. Voor honden die van rust houden

In 2020 adopteerde ik mijn lieve, wat onzekere River, uit Roemenië. Een middelgrote kruising die mensen vaak op een klein herdertje vinden lijken. Sinds 2023 woon ik in een parterrewoning met fijne tuin. Ik vind het leuk om zo af en toe op honden te passen en tegelijkertijd een beetje gezelschap voor River te hebben. Ik ben Zzper en werk veel thuis. Maar voor vaste wekelijkse opvang ben ik niet beschikbaar Behalve River en ik zijn er geen andere bewoners. Dat maakt het lekker rustig. River kan nog behoorlijk speels en energiek zijn, maar in huis is ze tevreden in haar mandje. De tuin is helemaal afgesloten met schuttingen en muren. Ik heb de afgelopen vier jaar veel gelezen en filmpjes gekeken over het begeleiden van honden met onzeker gedrag en ook een coachingstraject gehad met River. Ik geloof in de BAT-theorie (behavior adjustment) die uitgaat van goed gedrag stimuleren en ik volgde de online cursus Trust Technique. Ik geloof niet in dominantie en wil voor de hond de betrouwbare leider/coach zijn. Ik ben benieuwd om jouw hond te leren kennen. Voor een eerste keer maak ik graag een kennismakingsafspraak. Let op: - de agenda staat open voor twee honden per keer. Dat doe ik echter alleen als ik de honden ken en weet dat het om makkelijke honden gaat. Voor River zijn dat al snel teveel prikkels. - voor vakanties ben ik in principe niet beschikbaar. Mocht je op korte termijn oppas nodig hebben voor een weekend of langer, dan kun je altijd even een berichtje sturen. Dan kan ik kijken of er toch iets mogelijk is.

Mijn ene hond Max teckel 6 jaar en laat ik voor de lange wandelingen meestal thuis.
