Your dog’s best friend

My main struggle of living away my home country is not being able to see my dogs. I have 2 dogs (9 years old king charles and 2 years old mixed breed) so I have experience taking care of both old and young dogs. Spending time with dogs is a therapy for me. I’ve always found dogs more loyal and friendlier than human beings. Even being around them is comforting for me. I grew up in a home with dogs and I cannot imagine a life without them and whenever I go out I cannot help myself but trying to play with dogs

Sebnem took great care of our Golden Retriever and our cat for a weekend at our own place. They seemed very much at ease with her and everything went well, even though our dog has separation anxiety. Will definitely ask her again next time.

Dierenvilla op de Herengracht 🐾

Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Kan ook erg goed met katten, in mijn studentenhuis in Utrecht altijd een kat gehad. Ik vind het leuk om om dieren heen te zijn en krijg er altijd energie van. Zelf ben ik sportief, zorgzaam en lief. Met dieren houd ik van knuffelen, lange wandelingen buiten, spelen en lekker samen op de bank liggen. Bij mij zou je huisdier veilig zijn, hopelijk op zijn/haar gemak en veel aandacht krijgen aangepast op wat hij/zij nodig heeft! Liefs, Fee

Fee is exceptionally pleasant, it was my first time leaving my puppy and immediately Fee welcomed us, I felt reassured he’s in good hands. Shelter Dogs | Animal Behaviour Student

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I help with socialization, basic training, and supporting dogs with different behavioral needs. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. Spending time with other dogs is one of the ways I still feel close to him and I know he’d be happy to see me doing this. ❤️ Having loved Milo as much as I did, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. So no worries, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated with plenty of pictures and little updates along the way. 😊 I live with my boyfriend, and we both have flexible schedules. Our place is just 15 minutes from Vondelpark and close to two local dog parks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and have fun. Rowie was de eerste “vreemde” oppas voor onze poezen tijdens onze vakantie, en wat ons betreft zeker een blijvertje. Ze kwam dagelijks langs om ze te verzorgen en nam echt de tijd om aandacht te geven. We werden goed op de hoogte gehouden met berichtjes, leuke foto’s en filmpjes. Op die van de eerste dag was al te zien dat de poezen haar meteen in vertrouwen hadden genomen. Het gaf ons een heel fijn gevoel om zo op vakantie te gaan. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen, Rowie!
