Nina took great care of our dog when we were away for a couple of days. She made our dog feel at home immediately and shared updates and pictures with us so we knew the dog was in good hands. Also, communicating with Nina was a pleasure, she's very responsive, friendly and has an obvious love for animals. Our dog and we are very happy to have met Nina!

Toegewijde dierenoppas met hart voor elk dier

Al mijn hele leven leef ik met dieren om mij heen. Van honden (teckels, fauve de bretagne) tot katten, ik heb altijd een verzorgende rol op mij genomen voor de huisdieren in mijn leven. Afgelopen jaar heb ik ook een half jaar een lieve kater in huis gehad van een vriend die tijdelijk weg moest voor werk. Creating Pawsome memories for your furry friends!

I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.

Liefdevolle oppas aan het Erasmuspark

In mijn gezellige woning op de 2e verdieping vlak aan het Erasmuspark is een plekje vrij voor een oppashond! Samen kunnen we wandelen in een van Amsterdam’s mooie parken, knuffelen op de bank en chillen op een van de 2 balkons. Jouw hond zal alle aandacht krijgen die hij/zij verdient en nodig heeft, want geen knuffel is mij te veel. Ik ben al het favo oppasadres voor 2 hoog-bejaarde tevens blinde en dove chihuahua’s Harley & Poker, puber-Maltezer Kees, labrador-vriendin Lara, poedel-vriendje Ozzy en poes Mara. Ik werk regelmatig thuis en ben vrij flexibel met mijn werkplekken, en dat combineer ik graag met het gezelschap van een oppashond. Mijn kantoor is dog-friendly en mijn collega’s vinden het altijd super leuk als ik een oppashond meeneem, dus aandacht en knuffels in overvloed! Logeren mag ten slotte bij mij thuis, of ik kom gezellig op bezoek in de vertrouwde omgeving van jouw hond. Together we can go for walks in one of Amsterdam’s beautiful parks, cuddle on the couch, and relax on one of the two balconies. I’m already the favorite sitter for Harley & Poker, two very senior (and both blind and deaf) chihuahuas, teenage Maltese Kees, Labrador friend Lara, poodle buddy Ozzy, and cat Mara. My office is dog-friendly and my colleagues are always delighted when I bring a dog along—so there’s plenty of love and attention to go around! This summer, I volunteered for two weeks at a shelter caring for dogs rescued from wildfires. During this time, I had the chance to meet and care for dogs of all kinds — different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Some were playful and energetic, others shy or sensitive, and many simply needed patience and gentle reassurance. The neighbourhood is also great for dogs as there are lots of walking areas around . I would sudden then highly, and I am sure Plusha would love to visit them again.

Hobbies zijn sporten (boulderen, wielrennen, hardlopen) en de bergen intrekken. Goed om te weten is dat ik door mijn werk niet altijd zo flexibel kan zijn als ik zou willen. I used to take care of many dogs in my home country. I love being around dogs and making them feel safe and happy🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺 I also love spending time with cats. In my home country, I had a Shiba Inu roommate and a cat roommate (the one in my profile picture). They both trusted me a lot and loved being around me. Hello! My name is Zuzanna, I work as a freelance Sustainability Manager, and study at VU. I love animals for their pride, independence, and intelligence. Some dogs are more interesting than humans! It is fascinating how their persoonalities differ from one to another. For my whole life, there was at least one cat at home. Since I moved to the Netherlands, I miss my beloved Borys, Zofia and Burszyk which live with my parents back in Poland. I can guarantee that you meet me in person you will be happy and calm to leave your dog with me, and they will be too. I am very active and love going for runs and playing games when I get very active dogs that, in order to enjoy their day and then sleep well, need to exercise a lot throughout the day. If on the other hand, it's a more of a grown up doggie that needs some peace and quiet we will just watch some movies together and enjoy chill walks, at our own pace. I will be glad to pet and hug the cuddling-type dogs, but I also respect the reserved individualists ;) I am quite flexible with time and length of a visit/walks. Nette, zorgzame hondenliefhebber beschikbaar!

Mijn naam is Sophie, 36 jaar en ik kijk er naar uit om jouw hond te ontmoeten! Mijn liefde voor dieren begon al op jonge leeftijd. Opgegroeid met een grote rode kater genaamd Garfield en vaak bij de buren te vinden want die hadden twee honden waar ik altijd op mocht passen, mijn dag kon niet meer stuk! Ik woon in een appartement om de hoek van het park (2 minuten lopen) met voldoende ruimte voor één of twee honden (klein, middelgroot) Ik werk op woensdag en vrijdag thuis en heb dan alle tijd beschikbaar voor jouw hond. Wanneer het om een week gaat kan ik uitzonderingen maken en de hele week thuiswerken. Heeft u nog vragen of bent u benieuwd of het klikt tussen mij en uw hond, stuur me een berichtje!

Merlin en ik zijn heel blij met Sophie, ze is aardig en communicatief geweest zodat ik met rust van mijn kerstvakantie in het buitenland kon genieten. Zeker een aanrader :dog2:
