Hi, my name is Jana :) I am a 28-year-old woman living in de Baarsjes in Amsterdam West. I originally come from the Czech Republic from a small town called Zlin. I love taking care of dogs as well as cats and overall being around animals ever since I was a small child. As for your dog pets, I enjoy going for long walks and teaching them some simple tricks, such as to sit or to lay down. Additionally, I used to take care of my neighbour's dogs on a daily basis back when I lived in the Czech Republic and nowadays, I babysit my friend's dog time to time. I just finished studying a master's program called Environment and Resource Management at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Currently, I’m searching for a job. It is good to say that I am used to different breeds and, therefore, I have got limited preferences when it comes to dog breeds I would like to babysit. Betrouwbare oppas & certified dog person 🐾

Hoi! Ik heb ruim 14 jaar ervaring met honden. Mijn eigen hond, Abel, een oude, lieve ruwharige teckel, is helaas onlangs overleden. Hij was jarenlang lid van de familie en heeft mij veel geleerd over zorg, geduld en het opbouwen van een sterke band met een hond. Betrouwbare, vriendelijke en rustige oppas

Al sinds ik heel jong ben, ben ik gewend aan dieren om me heen. Ik zou mezelf dan ook omschrijven als een echte dierenvriend. Mijn ouders hebben een labradoodle en daardoor heb ik ook ervaring met het passen op honden. Ze hebben ook altijd katten gehad, dus ik weet ook goed hoe ik met hen om moet gaan. Have just moved to the Netherlands from Ireland and have had to leave my family dogs behind- missing company on my walks and evening cuddles. I know how to tire a dog out with a good walk (and lots of patient sniff stops of they’re that way inclined!) or give them attention if that’s what they need. I understand that all owners have their own way with their pets and am more than happy to follow those rules too. Was never lucky enough to have a cat due to family member allergies so am very excited to get to spend some time with some. Dogs are my favourite people

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

Van kleins af aan ben ik al gek op dieren en ben ik altijd door huisdieren omringd geweest. Vroeger liet ik met veel plezier honden uit bij het asiel , dit wakkerde mijn dierenliefde alleen maar meer aan. Jet is een geweldige dierenoppas! Ze heeft op mijn kat Pjotr gepast tijdens mijn vakantie. Helaas kreeg Pjotr net in die week een wondje aan zijn pootje, maar Jet heeft hem ontzettend goed verzorgd. We hadden tussentijds veel contact, wat mij enorm geruststelde. Ik kan haar van harte aanbevelen!

Na opgegroeid te zijn met katten begon ik op mijn 13e al mijn eerste honden uitlaatservice voor familie en kennissen. Zo was ik twee jaar lang de vaste oppas voor Beer (kruising). Inmiddels heb ik ruime ervaring met verschillende (kleine en middelgrote) rassen en heb ik een aantal terugkerende oppashondjes. Ik woon in een appartementje aan de rand van het centrum van de stad en kijk tijdens het oppassen altijd uit naar de spelen, knuffelen en de wandelingen naar bijvoorbeeld Bilderdijkpark of Geuzekade. Indien de gasthond houdt van spelen met andere honden heb ik voldoende vrienden met honden die graag een playdate inplannen. Hierbij laten we al-tijd(!) de honden eerst op een veilige manier kennismaken. Ik ben een betrouwbare oppas die haar thuiswerk dagen en vrije tijd gemakkelijk kan aanpassen naar de routine van een gasthond. Verwacht regelmatig updates (met foto’s) gedurende het verblijf van jouw hondje. Note: In verband met mijn relatief kleine appartement op 1-hoog pas ik enkel op kleine en middelgrote rassen die zindelijk zijn.

This is my second time using Danielle, and again she is the BEST dog sitter there is. She has a stash of dog toys and treats at her house that she greets your pet with to make them feel comfortable immediately. She consistently sends pictures/updates of your pup- which is something I love. I honestly think my dog may *almost* prefer her over me.
