For as long as I can remember I've had dogs of my own, fostered rescue dogs, and helped friends/family with their pets. I love interacting with dogs and learning new things about them. A few years ago, I figured out that dogsitting was a great fit for my lifestyle and never looked back! When your dog comes to stay with me, they will become a member of the family alongside my own dog: Merlin, a Spanish greyhound mix! He is balanced, calm and social. Other dogs naturally look to him as a role model, and he is delighted to play the part. Together, we will take walks in Haagse Bos or Scheveningen beach, cuddle on the couch, run errands in dog-friendly spaces like the gardening center, or visit friends... I work hybrid between my home and my office (which is a 15 minute bike ride away). This gives me flexibility to offer the following services: 🛌 Boarding 🛌 - The quoted price per day guarantees a minimum of two 20-30 minute walks, and one 45-60 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. - An extra guaranteed 20-30 minute walk can be purchased for an additional €7 per day. - You will receive daily photo/video updates about your dog during their first stay. Repeat clients can get daily updates upon request, otherwise updates will be every 1-3 days. - I have to be at my office a couple of days per week. If your need me to look after your dog during periods that include office days, they need to be okay to stay at home with Merlin for up to 8 hours. Upon request, I am able to bike home during my lunch break to let your dog out for an additional €7 per office day. - Extra guaranteed walks must be requested and paid for before the booking begins. 🌞 Doggie Daycare 🌞 - The quoted price for this service applies to Tuesdays and Thursdays during office hours. - Drop-off in the morning is flexible, pickup has to be before 18h. - For doggie daycare outside of the described times, a different price applies based on the specifics of the desired booking. Feel free to reach out if you have different needs! - The quoted price guarantees one 20-30 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. Depending on my schedule and yours, your dog might get a second walk. - Extra guaranteed walks cannot be purchased for this service. - New daycare clients will receive one photo/video update per stay, regular clients will receive them upon request. 🏡 Housesitting 🏡 - For this service I will stay in your home overnight with your pets. - The same conditions apply as Boarding, with the addition that my dog Merlin must be able to stay with me and your pets at your home. - I am also experienced with cats, and a different daily price can be negotiated for them. 🐶 General 🐶 - A 'Guaranteed Walk' refers to the minimum daily walks that your dog will get during their stay. Some days we might walk more, but never less. Extra walks which weren't requested & paid for before the booking started won't be charged extra, so there will never be any surprise charges for walks at the end of the booking. - Dogs will only be let off the leash with permission of the owner and if I fully trust them to stay nearby, in spaces where this is allowed. Special walking instructions will always be followed, unless doing so risks a dangerous situation. - Dogs are allowed on the sofa. Access to the bed comes with the condition of good behavior. - If a dog needs any meals during their stay, the owner must provide the food. I can provide bowls and fresh water. - Dogs will not be given human food at any point during their stay. They will only be given dog treats with permission from the owner. - Due to high demand during the school holiday periods, I do not offer boarding and house-sitting in those dates to new clients. This includes the Summer holidays, Autumn Midterm break, Christmas holidays, February break, and Spring break. This way I can guarantee a place to stay to dogs who are already familiar with me and my home, which is better for them than having to adapt to a new place every time. - The owner is responsible for informing me about any behavioral or health issues their dog might have. This allows me to prepare a safe and comfortable environment for them ahead of time. Undisclosed issues that cause problems during the dog's stay will result in refusal to accept future bookings, and the cancellation of other existing bookings. If you're not sure whether a particular behavior could be considered an issue, be sure to mention it to me anyways. - If your dog is very senior or has any serious health issues that increase the risk of emergencies, I require extended instructions on what to do if there's an emergency and you are not reachable. These instructions should be provided in writing before the booking starts. - Any veterinary costs made by the dog during their stay that aren't covered by the petbnb guarantees, are to be paid by the owner. - By booking with me you agree to the terms stipulated in this text. I have a lot of experience caring for sick cats, pregnant cats, kittens, and puppies. I can give injections to cats, kittens, and dogs if needed, and I have also assisted in cat neutering surgeries. We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. I am currently learning Dutch, but for now, I can only speak English and Russian, and I understand some Dutch. Mike has had dogs since childhood. Not always, but during high seasons, we can have multiple guests, just like other pet sitters. However, all guest dogs here are friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Het is haar zelfs gelukt om een mooie verbinding met hem te maken. Mia kreeg netjes haar hapjes en liet haar kunsten zien zoals we gewend zijn. Kortom: Angela krijgt van ons een 5 op een schaal van 0 tot 5. We zijn super tevreden met de oppas van Angela!

Per 1 oktober 2026 ben ik (IN OVERLEG) weer beschikbaar voor dagopvang en logeren bij mij thuis.🙏🏻 IK KAN MAX 1 MAAND VOORUITKIJKEN, AANPASSING WEKELIJKS! Omdat ik vanwege mijn onregelmatige baan zelf geen hond kan bezitten is dit uniek en ideaal om te doen aangezien het mes aan 2 kanten snijdt! Ik heb tijd en ruimte genoeg om uw hond goed te leren kennen en echt hond te laten zijn: ze krijgen alle vrijheid en aandacht van mij. Ik ben in het bezit van een groot huis met tuin en een auto om naar het nabijgelegen strand of bos te gaan. Natuurlijk is gewoon lekker rustig thuis blijven ook een optie. Bij u aan huis komen oppassen is binnen een gepaste straal geen probleem: soms is een hond en zeker een kat het liefst en veiligst in zijn/haar eigen huis! Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en katten, ik werk als vrijwilliger in het dierenasiel en privé pas ik op de nodige honden van vrienden. Al uw wensen zijn bespreekbaar, maar staan en vallen allereerst met het vertrouwen, dat er moet zijn tussen mens en dier. Als u vragen heeft, neem gerust contact met me op!

Ik maak al langere tijd gebruik van de diensten van Barbara. Zij kijkt goed naar de behoefte van mijn hond en speelt hier op in. Wanneer ik weet dat zij die dag komt maak ik me geen moment op de dag zorgen; ik weet dat het hoe dan ook goed komt!

Wij maken gebruik van de nieuwste hondvriendelijke opvang- en trainingsmethoden. Ik ben opgeleid tot natuurlijk hondengedragdeskundige, waarbij het aangeboren, natuurlijke gedrag van de hond centraal staat. De hond mag bij ons lekker hond zijn. Elke hond is uniek en heeft eigen behoeftes en talenten, daar krijgt hij bij ons alle ruimte voor. Ik heb veel ervaring opgedaan met verschillende honden door mijn werk in een hondenpension, en alle hondjes die ik via Petbnb heb mogen ontvangen. We hebben geen kinderen; de honden krijgen onze onverdeelde aandacht. Goed opgevoede honden, vanaf ongeveer een jaar oud zijn van harte welkom bij ons thuis. Onze eigen hond is stabiel en gemakkelijk in de omgang met andere honden. We kijken er naar uit jouw hond te mogen verwelkomen!

Deze titel was de naam van me laatste hond die ik gehadt heb, een Tervuersen herder. Sinds mijn jeugd heb ik altijd iets met honden gehadt, en ondanks mijn jonge leeftijd was ik toen al verantwoordelijk voor 2 honden, beiden waren Gordon Setters. Uiteraard zijn er op latere leeftijd 2 andere honden in me leven verschenen, beiden Tervuersen herders, waar dus 1 hiervan de titel heeft verdiend. Met beiden heb ik gehoorzaamheid cursussen voor gevorderende gedaan, en later competities, namelijk zogenaamde hindernisbanen voor honden, wat ik geweldig vondt. De samenwerking die je opbouwt, en het vertrouwen dat de hond aan jouw geeft ervaar ik als iets, wat je niet zomaar met een ander kan delen. Helaas bevind ik me nu in de omstandigheden, dat ik niet dagelijks voor een hond kan zorgen, maar deze site bied voor mijn de ultieme oplossing; namelijk toch de gelegenheid krijgen om geregeld weer voor een hond te mogen zorgen! En ik vind het nu al heel erg leuk bij deze gedachte!

Dankjewel voor het oppassen op Luna. Ze heeft je erg uitgetest en is er bekaf van. Ze lag gelijk plat toen we thuis kwamen. Hopelijk dat ze langer in de cursus minder uittest en ook wat meer gaat rusten.

Hi! My name is Lynn, and I’m an animal lover currently living in Leiden. I am a phd student whose main task is writing up her phd dissertation. As a result, I could have a very flexible schedule and I could work from home to stay with pets. I truly miss having animals around me and would love to spend more time caring for cats and dogs. I noticed that I got a review with very positive content but only 4 paws in rating. I am a bit confused about this. Is it because an accidentally wrong click or something? But no worries I know that I am the best sitter and I take best care of the animals and I reply messages very quick and I update a lot of photos and videos. I give a lot of attention and cuddle them a lot. I speak to them with the softest voice. I follow the instructions well and I am always willing to do more. I love and take care of the animals not just I want a nice review record but I truly love them. I'll be a bit sad if I am gonna miss some adorable animals because of this 4 paws review. No I need 15 more 5-paw reviews to go back to 5-paw 😭 IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST: I usually responde fast, and I appreciate EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION that you can save your time to company your fluffy boys and girls more. We value each other's time. I only speak English. My place is only a 42 m2 appartment with a seperate bedroom. Not a good choice for villa dogs. I live in an apartment. As a result, I can't accept dogs with barking issues. This is a red flag for my neighbors. I usually don't accept dogs with separation anxieties. In special situation you can ask and I can prepare myself. I can only accept one dog at a time. It depends on your preferences that you can state clearly. My recently experience showed that dogs can make friends immediately and enjoy each other. They can calm down or feel relaxed quicker than staying with a sitter alone. However, my family dog doesn't like sharing humans with other dogs. He will be a bit jealous. So it depends. I care about the tidiness of the house in a way that both pets and humans can enjoy a nice living space. I allow pets on sofa and furnitures and on my laps. I would like to cuddle them a lot. As a result, I would clean the paws after each walk using a soft wet wipe in a very gentle way. If your pet doesn't like paws being touched, then I am not a suitable sitter for them. For safety reasons, I don't accept boys and girls who are heavier than 25kg. Otherwise I may have difficulties in unusual situations where I need to carry/lift them. IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN ME, here is my background: My family has a cream-colored Shiba Inu who is incredibly adorable. I also have hands-on experience caring for a British Shorthair silver shaded cat, whom I looked after for several months while helping a friend. During that time, I was responsible for daily feeding, litter cleaning, and providing companionship, while keeping the cat comfortable and relaxed in its usual routine. Animals have always been an important part of my life. My mom is especially good at caring for animals — from chicks, birds, and rabbits to dogs — and she has always taken excellent care of them. Growing up in that environment, I believe I’ve inherited her patience, sense of responsibility, and genuine love for animals. When babysitting, I focus on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and calm interaction based on their energy level. For cats, I respect their personality — whether they enjoy active play or prefer quiet company. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention. Before each stay, I’m happy to arrange a visit or meet-up with you and your pets so we can go through any important details together. I truly appreciate it when owners share their pets’ preferences, habits, and routines — every boy and girl is unique, and understanding what they like helps me provide better, more personalized care. I pay close attention to safety, hygiene, and the well-being of each animal, and I’m always willing to adapt my care to different personalities or special needs. I genuinely enjoy looking after pets and value the comfort and joy they bring. I would be more than happy to provide a safe, caring, and loving environment where your furry family members feel secure and well cared for.

lynn took so good care of my puppie herbie, and I noticed lynn likes to be well informed and pays attention to all details which can be important to be able to take care in the best way. she sent me pictures and little video's, which made me feel happy, to see everything is going smoothly and cosy. thank you lynn!

I'll watch after and love your tails

Ik heb bijna 20 jaar honden in mijn leven. Ik ben graag buiten en ben dan graag met mijn honden op pad. Ik heb de luxe dat ik een grote tuin heb met een hek eromheen midden in een recreatie gebied op loopafstand van het strand. Mijn ene hond Max teckel 6 jaar en laat ik voor de lange wandelingen meestal thuis. De andere hond Siberische Husky Luna is 10 jaar oud en wil graag spelen, dus het is leuk als er een sociale actieve hond is die dat ook leuk vind. De honden heb ik s nachts in huis en als ik thuis ben en het is mooi weer vaak buiten.

Gewoon iemand die van honden houdt!

Hoi! Ik ben Anne en ik ben al mijn hele leven gek op honden, en honden zijn ook vaak gek op mij! Jammer genoeg mocht ik vroeger nooit een hond van mijn ouders, maar dit wil niet zeggen dat ik geen ervaring heb. Ik heb onwijs veel geleerd van mijn lieve buurvrouw en haar Mechelse herder, netjes leren wandelen, discipline, trucjes, en vooral kijken en luisteren naar de lichaamstaal van honden. Ook de oude boxer van mijn vriend heb ik veel tijd mee doorgebracht. Eigenlijk overal waar ik kom spendeer ik veel tijd met huisdieren. Zelf heb ik wel altijd hamsters en konijnen gehad, want ik vind het erg fijn om voor dieren te zorgen. Op het moment is het voor ons geen optie om een hond te nemen, vanwege mijn zoektocht naar mijn eerste vaste baan (net afgestudeerd) en mijn vriend is de hele week van huis. Vandaar dat ik graag flexibel mijn tijd wil vrij maken om voor andermans honden te zorgen. Wat u van mij kunt verwachten is dat ik liefdevol voor uw trouwe viervoeter zal zorgen. Dit doe ik natuurlijk op de manier die u zelf het liefst heeft! Het aantal wandelingen, hoe te spelen of dat u misschien met training bezig bent zal ik volgens uw manier doen. Alles wat volgens redelijkheid nodig is voor uw hond is bespreekbaar! Ik ben voornamelijk enkele dagen en weekenden beschikbaar, langere vakantieperioden gaat niet lukken. Ook ben ik niet vaste dagen beschikbaar, daarvoor moet u een andere oppas zoeken, ik ben beschikbaar voor de incidentele momenten dat u een oppas nodig heeft.

Ook met deze hitte houdt Anne goed in de gaten dat Luna genoeg verkoeling heeft. Dankjewel weer voor de goede zorg!

Vrolijke familie wil zijn dierenliefde delen

Hoi! Wij zijn een familie die enorm houdt van honden, bestaande uit Gert-Jan en Leonie en dochters Merthe (10) en Jiske (8). We gaan graag op vakantie of weekenden weg, en vinden het op dit moment een te grote verplichting om zelf volledig voor een hond te zorgen. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met honden en de laatste jaren passen wij met grote regelmaat op onze vaste logé Bowie (Labradoodle). Dit vinden wij als gezin zo leuk om te doen dat we ook graag anderen willen helpen. We vinden het ook heel leuk om verschillende karakters van honden te leren kennen. Gert-Jan werkt nagenoeg volledig thuis en Leonie werkt parttime, waardoor we veel tijd hebben om lekker te wandelen en te spelen. Ook onze meiden zijn elke keer dolenthousiast en geven veel aandacht en liefde aan honden, een hond die oké is met kinderen is wel belangrijk. We hebben een ruime en volledig afgesloten tuin en wonen op loopafstand van de groenzoom waar we dan ook graag wandelen. Of naar de hondenspeeltuin om de hoek, daar genieten we ook van. Student maar full time dierenliefhebber

Dieren geven mij liefde in het leven. Ik heb altijd katten thuis gehad, totdat ik in Delft ging studeren. Ik heb veel ervaring met oppassen op katten en honden: voor wandelingen, om te spelen of om bij mij te logeren. Al deze ervaringen hebben mij veel geleerd; ik ken leuke wandelroutes en vind het belangrijk om ze aandacht te geven. Mijn vriend Gaetano houdt ook enorm van honden (soms zelfs meer dan mij haha) en we zorgen soms samen voor honden wanneer onze vrienden op vakantie gaan. Lekker knuffelen met een blije kat of hond maakt onze dag. Met deze baan hoop ik nog veel meer dieren blij te maken. --------------------------------------- Animals give me love in life. I’ve always had cats at home, until I moved to Delft for my studies. I have plenty of experience taking care of cats and dogs: for walks, playtime, or having them stay over at my place. All these experiences have taught me a lot; I know great walking routes and I think it’s important to give them the attention they need. My boyfriend Gaetano also loves dogs (sometimes even more than me haha), and we sometimes take care of dogs together when our friends go on holiday. Cuddling with a happy cat or dog makes our day. Voor honden die van rust houden

In 2020 adopteerde ik mijn lieve, wat onzekere River, uit Roemenië. Een middelgrote kruising die mensen vaak op een klein herdertje vinden lijken. Sinds 2023 woon ik in een parterrewoning met fijne tuin. Ik vind het leuk om zo af en toe op honden te passen en tegelijkertijd een beetje gezelschap voor River te hebben. Ik ben Zzper en werk veel thuis. Maar voor vaste wekelijkse opvang ben ik niet beschikbaar Behalve River en ik zijn er geen andere bewoners. Dat maakt het lekker rustig. River kan nog behoorlijk speels en energiek zijn, maar in huis is ze tevreden in haar mandje. De tuin is helemaal afgesloten met schuttingen en muren. Ik heb de afgelopen vier jaar veel gelezen en filmpjes gekeken over het begeleiden van honden met onzeker gedrag en ook een coachingstraject gehad met River. Ik geloof in de BAT-theorie (behavior adjustment) die uitgaat van goed gedrag stimuleren en ik volgde de online cursus Trust Technique. Ik geloof niet in dominantie en wil voor de hond de betrouwbare leider/coach zijn. Ik ben benieuwd om jouw hond te leren kennen. Voor een eerste keer maak ik graag een kennismakingsafspraak. Let op: - de agenda staat open voor twee honden per keer. Dat doe ik echter alleen als ik de honden ken en weet dat het om makkelijke honden gaat. Voor River zijn dat al snel teveel prikkels. - voor vakanties ben ik in principe niet beschikbaar. Mocht je op korte termijn oppas nodig hebben voor een weekend of langer, dan kun je altijd even een berichtje sturen. Dan kan ik kijken of er toch iets mogelijk is.

Cats always let me give them pets 🤭

I have always had pets at home since I was a child (from cats, to guinea pigs, to even a rabit and a duck once!). Currently, I unfortunately cannot have pets at home in the Netherlands because of my housing agreement... no pets allowed 🫤. But I miss it so much and I say all the time to my partner "I really wish I could get a cat!". My best days are when my neighbour's cat is outside the house in the sun and I can just give it some pets. Back in my homecountry I still have three awesome and super cute cats at my parents' house. They always seem to still remember and miss me when I go back there for holidays or quick visits. I love all animals, but I have a soft spot for cats 😻🐈‍⬛️.

Actief jong gezin als tof logeeradres

We zijn een gezin met twee jonge dochters dat dol is op honden het liefste zelf ook een hond zou hebben. Door school en werk zou een hond echter lange dagen alleen zijn, wat we een hond niet aan willen doen. In mijn jeugd heb ik zelf met mijn ouders een hond gehad, geen ras, maar leek op een Stabij. Ook komt regelmatig een hond in de familie logeren. De meiden zijn er dol op en willen het liefste de hele dag spelen, knuffelen en wandelen. Ook de honden in de buurt zijn geliefd en worden regelmatig verwend. Het lijkt ons leuk om in weekenden met een hond er op uit te trekken en lekker te gaan wandelen. Ook zouden verschillende doordeweekse dagen mogelijk zijn, als we thuis werken. We hebben een heel aantal weekenden geblokt in de kalender. We merken dat we flink wat aanvragen krijgen en op deze manier kunnen we zelf ook een keer wat inplannen zonder hond in het weekend. Maar daar kunnen we best wat in schuiven. Je mag dus altijd een aanvraag doen, ook al is het voor een moment dat de kalender aangeeft dat we niet beschikbaar zijn. Maar hou er dan wel rekening mee dat het antwoord dan ook nee kan zijn :).

Thorin heeft het naar zn zin gehad bij dit gezin. Hij was gewoon zichzelf bij ophalen en bij thuiskomst. Updates ontvangen en alles is prettig verlopen. Voor herhaling!
