I’m a total dog lover, and spending time with dogs always makes me really happy. Whether it’s taking them for walks, playing fetch, or just giving them belly rubs, I always make sure every dog feels like they’re the most special one in the world. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, whether it’s playing with energetic pups or patiently comforting the shy ones—it’s all so rewarding to me. When I had my own puppy, I used to cook meals for them based on their nutritional needs, and of course, I always followed the owner’s preferences for dog food or treats. I pay close attention to the little things, like keeping their water clean, making sure they get the right amount of exercise, grooming them, and even cleaning tear stains. I don’t have a favorite breed—I love all furry friends—but I do have a soft spot for Border Collies. To me, every dog is like family, and I treat them with all the warmth and care they deserve.

Radiating Golden Retriever energy & care!

When my friends get asked which animal I would be (and they do, surprisingly often!), they all say "Golden Retriever". Rather specific, I'd say. I myself love all dog breeds, but I can agree that my warm, caring, and often excited being could be considered Golden Retriever-ish. Ik heb al mijn hele leven thuis honden gehad. Alleen helaas zelf nog niet alle tijd om eigen hondje te hebben omdat ik het vaak druk heb met werk. Ik werk nu vaak 2 dagen per week van thuis, en dacht dat is de perfecte gelegenheid ook om af en toe een maatje te hebben om mee te wandelen en knuffelen. Ik heb een eigen paard waar ik dagelijks naartoe ga, dus je zou wel kunnen zeggen dat ik een grote dierenvriend ben. Ik woon precies tussen Rembrandtpark en Vondelpark in. Genoeg gelegenheden om te wandelen. Ook heb ik een auto tot mijn beschikking en kan ik met de hond lekker naar Amsterdamse Bos of ergens anders.

Liefdevol, enthousiast en zorgzaam

Ik vind alle hondjes even leuk en lief en hou ervan om lang te wandelen in het park, te knuffelen en veel te spelen. Ik heb een grasveld voor de deur en een park om de hoek dus dat is handig met uitlaten. Door de jaren heen heb ik op verschillende hondjes gepast. Een engelse Stafford, Australische herder, Beagle puppy, chihuahua puppy en ik pas regelmatig op de ruwharige dwergtackel van mijn tante. Ik vind grotere honden ook leuk maar heb daar wel iets minder ervaring mee en ze passen niet helemaal in mijn kleinere appartement. Hopelijk tot snel!

We had a great experience with Donya. She's communicative, flexible and a pleasure to speak with. She updated us with pictures and how it was going with our dog, he did not want to leave the house because he felt really loved! We will definitely book Donya again.

Ik heb de liefste golden die graag vriendjes maakt

Hoi! Ik heb een super lieve en sociale golden retriever van bijna 2. Ze maakt graag nieuwe vrienden en wil de hele dag spelen en knuffelen. Een tweede hond zou voor haar leuk zijn, maar financieel krijg ik dat niet rond. Ook qua energie zou ik daar op termijn niet genoeg voor hebben. Ik heb namelijk long covid (mijn golden Eddie is ook mijn hulphond). Maar toen dacht ik, hoe geweldig als ik wat extra bij kan verdienen terwijl Eddie met een andere hond, of een paar, de hele dag in de tuin rondspeelt of samen naar een van de parken in de buurt. Ik wil wel graag alleen op makkelijke honden passen. Ze mogen best ontzettend onhandig zijn en misschien niet altijd even goed luisteren. Maar zolang ze maar super speels en lief zijn en nooit uitvallen of bijten. Eddie is de meest enthousiaste lieverd en dat enthousiasme kan soms verkeerd opgevat worden door honden met een trauma. Maar ze kan ook super goed met vuilnisbakken uit Italië en Griekenland. Zolang het echt goed klikt, dan klikt het voor het leven. Ik sta ook wel open voor meerdere honden tegelijk, maar het ligt aan de dynamiek met Eddie. Ik ben zelf lief, zorgzaam en knuffelig. Ik heb Eddie sinds dat ze 8 weken is en hiervoor vooral ervaring met de 2 labradors van m’n opa. Zolang een hond lief is en niet wegrent, zijn ze bijna mij sowieso bij een vrolijk adres :)

Gabo is dol op honden en ze heeft zelf een hele lieve hond, die heel graag met andere honden speelt, maar ook goed aanvoelt als het genoeg is. Ze heeft ook een heerlijke tuin waar ze lekker samen kunnen spelen en 2 parken in de buurt. Een aanrader!

I mostly work from home with flexible hours so I can walk your dog in the morning, during lunch or in the afternoon. I'm a runner so I can also take your dog to my 5km run if he/she is active enough.
