Als ouders kiezen wij er op dit moment bewust niet voor om er zelf één te nemen, maar we willen haar liefde voor honden wél de ruimte geven. Daarom lijkt het ons ontzettend leuk om af en toe op een hond uit de buurt te passen. Hi! I’ve always loved dogs, and being around animals has been an important part of my life. I grew up in a family with dogs, so caring for them has always felt natural to me. Before moving to the Netherlands, I regularly took care of my brother’s dog, Nala (she’s the one in my profile picture!). Ik heb al van kleins af aan huisdieren. Zelf hebben wij nu een hond “Soof”. Soof is ons nieuwste gezinslid en is nu 1 jaar. Wij hebben haar sinds 18 mei. Ook hebben wij konijnen en kippen gehad. Ons andere hondje Benji is helaas net overleden aan ouderdom. Ik mis hem ontzettend. I am a freelance musician, flexible with my time. This job came out of a hobby and I cherish it a lot. I enjoy interactions with dogs and love to see them in their comfort spaces or running around. I have been working with rescue dogs as well as well-trained - all are welcome. I grew up at a place with many stray dogs. We were building houses and feeding them, playing, and naming places after them. I got my own dog more than 10 years ago, a Jack Russell terrier called Cora. Moving around I could not bring her with me to The Netherlands. Now, I am looking for all kinds of dog characters to meet and care for. I am currently living in a nice but small studio flat. I can accommodate only small dogs for in-house stays. But I live in an area with plenty of space for walking and parks for dogs only. Overnight stays are also possible given that I work from home a lot of the time and can be flexible.

Viktoria was again awesome, our 2 rescue beagles where very relaxed when we got back (so we don't think they missed us much). The house was perfectly taken care of by Viktoria who is very tidy. Communicatie is clear and regular (with pictures). So glad we found Viktoria and it is such a good match with our 2 beagle boys.

Right now I am the brother of the cutest and -thanks to my mom- the fattest cats in the world that are staying in Istanbul. Although at the time I was able to get dogs and cats in my house, due to my new housing contract, unfortunately I am not allowed to do that for some time right now. I am very attentive at feeding hours if there's any preffered and set hours for your pet in that matter. Additionally, I am very active person that frequently exercises. So, I'd like to have your cute friend in those frequent walks/joggings by my side. Also, your pet will be pretty free (even encouraged) to relax with me on the couch if it's allowed. If the weather is nice and if you are okay with it, I can just get your pet and take them to the park for whole day too. I am very polite and I am very flexible with my working hours. I have never been a risk-taker at any point or context in my life. So, if I suspect something may be threatening or harmful for your pet, I either get rid of that threat or I bring your pet to safety because it's better to be safe than sorry. I hope and believe that I can be a worthy caregiver to your adorable friend/child/family member with four legs. I know how you feel while looking for a dog sitter because I had a dog until a few months ago and was contacting dog sitters myself until a few months ago! So I know how important it is to feel safe and sure that your loved animal is receiving the same attention and love when you are away. My last dog was a German Shepherd, but I have experience with large, medium, and small dogs. I have experience with difficult dogs, such as dogs that are easily scared by noises, have separation anxiety, and do not get along with other dogs or cats. My dog used to not get along with other dogs on the leash (but he was friendly at the dog park), so I can walk your pet while being vigilant, if you need this kind of service. My last dog needed to take an oral liquid medicine every day due to an autoimmune disease, so I also have experience in giving medicine via mouth! I live near Central Station and next to three parks, including one with a dedicated dog area, and my ground-floor apartment has a fenced garden too! I used to play with my dog in my fenced garden, and I will play with your dog too. Because I have had dogs in my life, and because I had one myself until a few months ago, I can provide the best love and care, treating your dog just like it's my dog. I will carefully listen to your needs and instructions and provide the best care possible. I look forward to helping you take care of your loved animal, without worrying that your dog will have a nice time playing, walking, and being relaxed!
