About the stay of our dog Dexter at Yamile house, i can say that we where really satisfied. Dexter is an insecure dog but Yamile could win his trust very fast. Yamile also took time to go to the park with Dexter, its something Dexter need very much. The photos and messages she send us gave us a carefree vacation. If its needed again, then i would ask Yamile again.that is why i would recommend Yamile to everyone

Studente die gek is op honden

Ik ben Bloem, een 22 jarige studente woonachtig in Amsterdam. Nu ik op mezelf in Amsterdam woon mis ik het ontzettend om veel met honden te zijn. Ik studeer op dit moment Politicologie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam (2e jaars) en woon in het centrum. Wij zijn rustig, geduldig, liefdevol en duidelijk, en we zorgen ervoor dat ieder dier zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Wij lopen bijna elke dag in het park en jou lieve viervoeter is altijd welkom :) We hebben beiden ook al 14 jaar ervaring met katten, dus die zijn ook meer dan welkom!

Flexibele oppas, met een mopshondje thuis!

Hai hai! Ik ben Eline, en ik ben de moeder van Rebel. Rebel is een mopshondje geboren op 15-08-2016 Ik ben ontzettend blij met hem! Ik ben altijd al gek geweest op hondjes. Ik woon op de begane grond in Amsterdam met tuintje! Ik woon vlakbij het vondelpark waar ik vaak een lekkere wandeling maak met rebel. Ik pas zelf ook vaak op rebels beste vriend Sjaak een Chow Chow, Willem en Pixel de mopshondjes, flow de Jack Russel, Boyke een langharige teckel, Chief de Zwitserse Sennenhond van mijn werk en ik heb een tijdje op Zoë gepast, een witte herder. Ze zijn echt allemaal gek op elkaar! Rebel is de liefste en makkelijkste hond die ken. En kan het met alle hondjes goed vinden! Ik weet zeker dat het gezellig wordt! Rebel is een hele makkelijke hond wat betreft “alleen thuis blijven”. Dit heb ik hem aangeleerd door als ik thuis kwam meteen met hem naar buiten te gaan. Dit doe ik zelfs als ik alleen even boodschapjes ga doen. Thuiskomen betekent wandelen. Ik wandel elke dag minimaal 3 keer met rebel! Dus ook met de hondjes waarop ik pas! Na een grote wandeling in het Vondelpark ga ik vaak direct door naar de Gym. Ze moeten dus wel eventjes alleen kunnen zijn met Rebel samen (max 1,5 uur) , dus het zou heel fijn zijn als ze het samen leuk hebben. Rebel is in ieder geval gek op andere honden. Ik werk ook als vrijwilliger bij een honden shelter. ik ben bekend met (ernstige) wondverzorging, ogen en oren druppelen, en het toedienen van medicatie. Mocht je interesse hebben! Hoi! Ik ben Roos, 33 jaar en woon in Amsterdam Oud West. Zelf ben ik altijd opgegroeid met honden in de familie en het liefst zou ik graag zelf een hond willen, maar gezien ik op dit moment onregelmatige uren werk als verpleegkundige is dat nu niet passend in mijn leven. I almost enjoy spending time with dogs more than with people. I really love social dogs and I love playing and training, which I find so rewarding! I get excited when dogs are excited and love learning, so I have no problem leaving the house 10 times a day to potty train a puppy or walk for two hours in the park with an active dog while throwing a ball or doing little search challenges. I also think it's much nicer to cuddle on the couch after a long (or short) day in the park. I have signed up to Petbnb, since I work too much to be a dog mom myself - instead I will be the fun aunt. More about my experience: I've grown up around labradors and a springer spaniel in my family, all family dogs and some also trained and used for hunting. It taught me simple training techniques and made me see the joy that comes with a well-behaved and loved dog. I was the regular dog sitter for a broholmer for a few years, we always had the best time together. Currently I am the regular sitter for an old staffy. We tend to spend more time on the couch than in the park, but that's her preference. I also love bringing her when getting a coffee with friends or take her on a drive somewhere fun outside the city. Additionally I volunteer at a dog shelter, where I clean and go for walks with the dogs. I meet many different breeds here every week, and additionally I get to learn from professional dog trainers and caretakers. I've previously owned an english bulldog, Benji, a young rescue. He had issues with eating, seperation and stress because of his experiences, which I worked on together with a professional trainer. I definitely have a soft spot for those bully breeds now. Dogs communicate so much to us, and it's very important to read their body language, while I only give simple, easy to understand commands and use my body language. I am always calm and let the dog come to me, so they feel more relaxed and they can trust me. I have a lot of patience when getting to know new dogs, and I really appreciate all the little wins along the way, also if your dog has any special needs. More about my personal life: I'm originally from Copenhagen and moved to Amsterdam three years ago, when my boyfriend got a job here. I took a chance, quit my job and moved. I have learned some dutch, but communicate better in english still. I work in the fashion industry in a creative job. - I currently work full time and commute, so only my weekends are available. - We have an elevator in our building, if we are dog sitting in our apartment.

energiek - verzorgend - aandachtig - heel veel zin

Wij, Carli en Danique, wonen in een heel fijn en koel appartement in Amsterdam-Oost met een tuin! We dromen van een eigen hond, maar willen daar alle tijd voor hebben en in sommige periodes is dat in deze fase van ons leven niet het geval. Vandaar deze gezellige oplossing :) Danique heeft thuis gestreden voor een hond (inclusief PowerPoint om ouders te overtuigen) en heeft vanaf haar 12e, jaren lang met een Border Collie mogen leven. Daarna heeft ze in Amsterdam nog verschillende uitlaat honden 'gehad'. Carli is verzot van honden. Hij haalt op reis alle straathonden aan die we tegenkomen en de liefde is vaak wederzijds. Samen houden we van in de natuur zijn, weekendjes weg met onze camper en zijn beide sportief! p.s. als je twee honden hebt die komen logeren is de prijs zeker overlegbaar!

[ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. Dus stuur ons vooral een berichtje als je meer wil weten! Liefs, Braden en Ashley ---- Hi! We are Braden (27) and Ashley (28). We have been living together in Amsterdam since 2023, after Braden (British/South African) moved to the Netherlands. We've both always had different types of dogs in our lives and miss it greatly now that we don't (yet) have one of our own. That's why we're really happy to be able to help others by offering dog-sitting services, while surrounding ourselves by dogs. We live just 5 minutes away from both Rembrandtpark and Erasmuspark (which even has a special area for dogs!), making it the perfect environment for outings. We both work mostly from home and are very flexible, meaning we can give a lot of attention to any dogs we’re looking after or easily drop by for a walk. We don’t have a preference for specific days or number of days, as long as we have enough time to plan accordingly. A few years ago, Ashley raised a litter with her own Shih Tzu and Chihuahua, so she has experience with both raising very young puppies and caring for senior dogs. Of course, every dog is different, but we are very aware of the unique needs of different breeds and ages. Myself and my girlfriend, Sarah, are seeking to mind a dog on our work from home days. We live in a first floor apartment with a large terrace, very close to Erasmuspark and Rembrandtpark. We have a dog of our own, Cody, a two year old flat coated retriever who we walk three times per day (3x1 hour). Cody is very (perhaps a little too) friendly and docile, so, taking on a additional dog would be straightforward.
