Anastasia was in our home for 10 days with our dog Koekie. She was the most loving and kind friend for our furbaby. We got updates and pictures or videos daily. Our dog really had such a good time with her, their energy really matched so well. We saw her multiple times before we went away. Every time Anastasia came, Koekie got so excited and wanted to go with her for nice walks and cuddle time. The house was left so clean too. Overall we highly recommend Anastasia! Disney for puppies

We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. And if it’s a pup that enjoys resting and accompanying more, we love that too! We also enjoy to teach them when they’re puppies since we love seeing their evolution :)

Experienced dog person with plenty of time

I grew up with dogs and have had them around me pretty much my entire life. I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and really miss having one around, so I’d love to look after a dog from time to time. I’m comfortable with both large and small dogs and used to different personalities. Walks, playing, feeding, or just hanging out at home are all fine with me. I live with my boyfriend, who is also a dog person. We have a spacious apartment by Amsterdam standards and live close to a park. My boyfriend works from home, and I also work from home part of the week, so there’s almost always someone around. Rennen, spelen, chillen; ik doe het allemaal.

Hoi, Robin hier! Ik ben opgegroeid met een Dobermann in huis, wat nog steeds één van mijn favoriete rassen is. Hij was fantastisch afgericht, geobsedeerd met ballen en mijn beste vriend. Later kwamen er twee Franse Bassets in huis. Erg schattig, maar ook lekker lui. Deze hondjes hebben de tijd nodig om te snuffelen, dus hoe ik eerst kon rennen en gooien met mijn hond, moest ik nu rustig lopen en soms zelfs even wachten tot de hondjes weer een beetje bij mij in de buurt waren. In mijn tussenjaar woonde ik bij een gezin met twee hondjes uit Ecuador, die allebei totaal verschillend waren. De kleine wilde graag geaaid worden en spelen en de grotere waardeerde rust en af en toe een aai over haar bol, maar hield wel van rennen tijdens het wandelen. Naast dit alles heb ik nog vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij een asiel. Kortom, aan ervaring met verschillende honden heb ik geen tekort. Op het moment studeer ik in Amsterdam. Ik woon in een 18m2 kamertje, waardoor ik liever geen grote honden langs heb, maar wandelen met grotere rassen is zeker geen probleem. Mijn beschikbaarheid varieert, maar overdag heb ik vaak veel vrije tijd, ‘s avonds iets minder.

Lief, duidelijk, behulpzaam. Ze kan goed omgaan met onze springende Hollandse herder. aanrader!

Dogs are family

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. I work from home, meaning I am available for all your dogs needs and am able to take them for long walks, if thats what they like in the dog friendly park. We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. They kept sending us pictures every day, so we knew she was doing well. We were so happy that Luna was with them, and we’ll definitely leave her with them again next time we’re away :)

Active, caring and happy to meet a new friend

When I lived in Spain, I volunteered at dog shelters, and while I was in Colombia, I was part of an association that fed stray dogs. I’m a fitness instructor at SportCity, so I’m naturally very active and enjoy movement and being outdoors. I have several free hours during the day, which gives me plenty of time to go for walks or spend time with your dog. Making your dog happy makes me happy - win / win!

Since leaving my parents place when I was 18, I have been craving to be able to take care of dogs. During my whole childhood I grew up around (big) dogs at my grandparent's house as well as at my home. My grandpa taught me the do's and don'ts and how to train them and I would regularly take care of their dogs as well as the dogs of family friends. From age 10 to 18 we also had a male German Sheppard at home who I always felt was my "bear" brother. I'm definitely the kind of guy who will stop in the middle of the street to chat with someone about their dog and ask if I can pet him/her. I'm not afraid of any type of dog and feel confident being able to impose myself when needed while remaining calm and respectful. I'm a sporty guy who goes outside a lot and likes to go for long walks in nature or a run - also with my friends or my girlfriend. I could play with dogs for hours. I currently live on the top floor of a spacious flat with rooftop in Oud West near most of the big parks including Westerpark, Rembrandtpark, Erasmuspark and Vondelpark. Regarding the prices and hours, I'm quite flexible and happy to discuss them with you as for me this is really more of a pleasure than a side job. I currently work at New Balance and am flexible to work from home whenever I want and to structure my days to my needs. Your Dog’s Best Friend

I understand sometimes it is hard to make travel plans or even go to the office if you have a furry friend waiting for you at home. We are living in Diemen with my boyfriend and our 3 year old australian shepherd dog Tommy. We are working from home most of the time, I wont accep’t dog boarding or daycare if we are not home the whole time. And never leave your dog home alone. We would be happy to support you and give the attention your dog deserves during the times you are apart from each other. You can be sure that your dog is safe with us. Tommy is very friendly with all dogs and people. He socialized very well with puppies when he was small and he is still a very social dog. However male dogs tend not to like him(unless it’s a puppy) and that’s why we always try to let them meet before we commit to anything. He is very playful and full of energy. There could be times where Tommy is away. But it cant be guaranteed. We see every situation as a training opportunity, and we try to improve ourselves to be better to take care of our own dog in the best way possible. The only reason we do this is only to help other dog owners like us, who needs a safe and warm home for their dog. Hope to help you as well.
