I have been living in Schiedam with my husband Douglas, an apartament on the ground floor, we don’t have stairs in our place, it’s good for old dogs 😀 just 200 metres from Schiedam Centrum Station. We are expats from Brazil. My husband is a scientist works with rare diseases ,and due to corona virus, he has been working from home since 2020. So, we are together at home most of the time. I decided become a petsitter because I love animals and I am at home many hours, so I am available during working hours, pettsiting is my full time job and I can give full attention to your dog and cat. ;) I am looking for a lovely pet/cat company when you are not available. Are you looking for a good dog or cat sitter? just send me a message :) I will love spend my time with he/she/them as a walk, playing or just staying with them. Whatever I can do I will be glad to help. I have an experience with dogs and cats, I took care since I was child. -DOG WALKING- A walk is like 20/30 minutes except if it’s too much for your dog. * BE AWARE -for requests more than 3km away from my home I charge the transport ticket. At the moment I am only accepting requests for schiedam centrum area. -HOME VISITS FOR CATS (at least 30 min): I will change the water, food, clean the litter box and of course... cuddling and play with them. Any special requirements (as medicine or such), you may inform me in our first meet and I will make sure it's taken care of. At the moment I am only accepting requests for schiedam centrum area. -DOG BOARDING SERVICE ( 24 hours duration): walks (3 times per day: in the morning,in the afternoon, and in the evening before going to bed). They are not going to be alone for more that 3 hrs. --Pick up and Drop off times fall within 24 hrs time frame. For example, if the drop off is at 10 am, pick up should be at 10 am on the last day. Additional time (Later pick-up)can be booked separately in the form of dog day care. -Even though we are home most of the time, we like being very organized with our schedules and therefore we really appreciate punctuality for the meet & greet and for picking up and dropping off the dogs. We are available for pick up and drop off between 8am and 7pm. In case you would need to come earlier in the morning or later at night, we might ask you to book another day. -JUNE-JULY-AUGUST-DECEMBER reservation minimum 7 nights dog boarding -Public holidays King's Day, Liberation Day, Easter Pentecost etc. minimum 3 nights. -DOG DAY CARE(duration 8-10 hours): walks 3 times per day. Hi pet parents, lovely to meet you! I'm Nina, 28 years old, and I grew up here in The Hague. About me I grew up with two dogs and three cats, and I've always loved taking care of them. For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. Since I've moved, they still bring their dogs to me when they go away for a longer holiday, but of course much less frequent now. Now that I'm all settled back in The Hague, I'd love to find a new address. In the past, I've worked as a nanny for five years, and I bring the same warmth and communication skills to pet sitting. I'm currently living on Javastraat with my boyfriend. He's 29 years old, really kind and loves dogs as well. He has a labradoodle back home with his parents. I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. Hallo! Mijn naam is Myrthe en ik woon alleen in Den Haag. Ik ben een dieren liefhebber die graag uw lieve viervoeter over de vloer heeft. Zelf heb ik sinds kleins af aan een ontzettend lieve kat gehad, helaas is zij laatst overleden en lijkt het mij heel leuk om weer een huisdier voor een kortere periode in huis te hebben! Dichtbij mijn huis zijn 2 verschillende bossen & het strand van Kijkduin en is dus daarom perfect voor een lange wandeling!

I am a Venezuelan, 29 years old. I recently moved to a new apartment in The Hague, together with my boyfriend, Rupert (33 years old), and we are so excited because we are allowed pets at home for the first time since we moved from our home country! I grew up with dogs as part of my family and that's the kind of family I wish to have someday in the future. Given my current lifestyle (busy with my work, going frequently to the office), I'd like to wait a bit longer until I have enough time to dedicate to them. However, I miss spending time with dogs so much, that I've decided to open an account at petbnb, and give and receive love from dogs as much as possible for the time being. I learned how to take care of dogs when I was a little girl. Our family dog, Bicho, stayed with us until I was 12 years old. After that, I was the go-to person to babysit the two dogs of my grandma and thereafter, the puppy of my aunt (all of them schnauzers). And not so long ago, I volunteered at the 'Animal Rescue' organization of Madrid (I studied my bachelor over there), where I'd take care of rescued dogs, take them for walks, and incentivize people to adopt them. My boyfriend also has vast experience with dogs. He was lucky to raise a Weimaraner and have him as his companion for over 10 years, and he currently shares caring responsibilities of his sister's Poodle - they live in Hamburg and we babysit every now and then. When it comes to my availability, I am always available during weekends -24 hours a day. However, if the booking is done some days in advance, arranging having a dog during the week is also possible, as I have the flexibility of working from home, which adds some extra availability for weekdays too. I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them forever.

Domenica was sooo lovely and communicative! We were running late to drop our dogs off before an appointment and she was very accommodating, and so sweet about the dogs. They seemed to have a lovely and safe time, and we hope we will be able to leave them with Domenica again x

Lieve, creatieve en enthousiaste oppas!

Hoi! Vroeger toen ik op de basisschool zat liet ik alle honden uit de wijk uit, ik was altijd al dol op honden! Maar mijn moeder wilde geen hond. Wel had ik thuis altijd knaagdieren. Wanneer ik op mijn 19e het huis uit ging wist ik het meteen. Ik wil een hond! Ik ben dol op alle rassen maar wat mij toen toch het meeste aansprak waren de zogenoemde powerbreeds. Zo kocht ik mijn eerste Amerikaanse Stafford teefje. Geweldig lief dier, grote mond maar een klein hartje. Daarop volgde nog 2 honden. Nog een Amerikaanse Stafford en een Amerikaanse Pitbull Terrier. Ik heb dus jaren lang met 3 honden geleefd. Totaal 14 jaar lang honden in huis gehad. En het waren zeker niet de makkelijkste. Konden alle 3 niet met vreemde honden omgaan. Wat voor mij geen probleem was, ik vermeed losloopgebieden en een enkele niet luisterende losloper in de wijk wimpelde ik af. Al moet je daar behoorlijk sterk voor in je schoenen staan. Ik ben een ontzettend verantwoordelijke hondenbezitter geweest. Dat is nou eenmaal een must als je met sterke rassen leeft. Helaas heb ik 2 maanden geleden mijn laatste reu in moeten laten slapen. Nu na 14 jaar honden gehad te hebben is het huis zo stil! Ik mis het verschrikkelijk maar weer een eigen hond nemen is me nog te snel. Ik ben nu vooral beschikbaar in het weekend, door de weeks in overleg wellicht mogelijk. Heel belangrijk; ik heb een zoontje van 2,5 jaar oud. Ook hem leer ik om verantwoord met dieren om te gaan Hij mag nog niet achter een vogel aan rennen op straat haha. Ik verheug me ontzettend om weer af en toe lekker bezig te zijn met een hond(je). Lekker wandelen, wat trainen op een leuke positieve manier of een denkspelletje, ik sta overal voor open. En ook zeker voor alle rassen van groot tot klein!

Het was weer super. Silky relaxed en goed verzorgd.

Hi lieve allemaal, ik hou van wandelen in het bos met mijn eigen hond (labradoodle) en hoop dat ik u ermee kan helpen. Ik zit nog op school dus in het weekend en na half 4 komt het beste uit. Honden zijn mijn leven, letterlijk en figuurlijk!

Ik ben af en toe beschikbaar om een hond uit te laten, maar niet als vaste uitlaatservice. Ook is het mogelijk om een hond of meerdere honden tijdelijk in huis te nemen, mits deze wel samen gaan met onze eigen hond. Ik ben buschauffeur van beroep en werk dus onregelmatig. Hierdoor ben ik niet altijd beschikbaar en ook niet elke week op een zelfde dag of tijd. Ik heb zelf vier Border collies, waarvan 1 bij mij in huis woont, de andere bij mijn ouders. Maar in mijn omgeving heb ik ook Westies, Rottweilers, Jack russells, Chihuahuas, Shelties en een Amerikaanse Bulldog. Ik doe zelf met mijn honden verschillende sporten en trainingen en ik ben eigenlijk altijd met ze bezig! Ik vind honden fantastische en fascinerende dieren en ik val ook meestal snel in de smaak bij alle honden. Ik heb altijd heel snel een klik en weet eigenlijk bijna zeker wat ze denken en voelen. Ik voel ze heel goed aan en daarom laat ik ook met een gerust hart de zogenaamde "hoog risico honden" uit. Ik weet wat ik moet doen mocht er iets mis gaan en ik kan vaak de hond goed "lezen" waardoor ik vaak zie wanneer iets fout gaat zodat ik daarvoor nog kan reageren om het niet fout te laten gaan.

Aanbeveling

Carol is betrouwbaar. Ze weet heel.goed om te gaan met huisdieren. Ze heeft tijdens onze vakantie op onze Rottweilers gepast. We konden onze geen betere oppas wensen. De honden hebben het heerlijk naar hun zin gehad en zijn top verzorgd. Ze weet ook heel veel van dieren.
