I love animals. Since I was 10 I had a golder retriever and spent most of my teenage years with her (labrador on the photos is my friend's dog). I am used to being around animas. I am thinking of getting a pet myself, but I know the difficultly to arrange care around work and while going on holiday. Which brought me to this app. It occurred to me that I could take care of pets while owners are away, which would give me the joy of enjoying a company of a pet and at the same time, it would help someone else.

Hi! I’m Darka, and I’m a huge dog lover living in Weert. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and taking care of them has always come naturally to me. Even though I grew up wanting a dog of my own, life never lined up perfectly for that — my family back home in Serbia wasn’t into pets inside the house, and later I married someone who also prefers a pet-free home 😄 So when I discovered this platform, it immediately felt like the perfect way for me to spend time with dogs, help local owners, and do something that truly makes me happy. I’m an active person (pilates, long walks, always on the move), so your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. You can expect clear, fast, friendly communication, reliable care, and regular updates with photos so you always know how your furry friend is doing. I offer dog walking, home visits and dog boarding, and I’m flexible with scheduling. Whether you need someone for regular walks, a visit during your workday, or support while you’re away — I’m here and happy to help. Languages: • English – fluent • Dutch – basic, but I understand written Dutch very well and I’m happy to communicate in English or Dutch messages. I treat every dog like my own.

I have had dogs for more than 15 years in my home country, and also for a while in The Netherlands, so I have a lot of experience with taking care of them. I really love dogs and enjoy having them around. I am a calm, caring and responsible person. I know that every dog is different, and I am happy to follow their normal routine with walks, food, play and lots of attention. I would be happy to look after your dog in my home while you are away. I will treat them like my own and make sure they feel comfortable and safe. I can also send you photos and updates while you are away. I am happy to look after friendly dogs of different breeds and sizes. I prefer dogs that are comfortable staying in a home and getting along with people.
