Dog sitter and dog/cat owner

Hello! My name is Maria and I come from Italy. Growing up I was always surrounded by pets, learning how to love them and care for their needs. I also was a dog sitter back at home for a dog with glaucoma, which required me to take her in daily walks and apply medication in her eyes! I love all animals, and as you can see from my picture I am the owner of a black Labrador named Marshall. Unfortunately as I had to move here for my master's, Marshall is at my parents house, and I miss him everyday.

Aanbeveling

My sister Maria Giulia is amazing with pets. We grew up with dogs and cats and she always took great care of them all with love and dedication. Our house saw four dogs and three cats enter our lives (and sadly leave them when they reached old age) and all of them showed particular affection for Maria Giulia. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter and think that our dog Marshall and cat Arthur will be very jealous of the pet she’ll take care of while she’s away!

Super friendly and trustworthy dog sitter!

Hi! My name is Josie and I’m from Melbourne. I’ve just moved to Amsterdam and am currently looking to dog sit and/or care for dogs while I get settled in the city. I have had multiple Jack Russels as pets all my life and also now own a French X British bulldog! I’m super reliable and am warm-natured :) Preferably I’m looking to dog sit from September while I find a new place to live but am flexible. I absolutely adore animals, and sitting for multiple dogs would not be an issue at all! Looking forward to hearing from you!

Aussie who loves dogs with spare time to help you!

Hello! I am an Aussie recently relocated to Amsterdam, who has some time on her hands and who is missing interactions with furry friends back home. I have experience with walking many dog breeds and caring for pets short term as a local day-sitter/walker back in Australia. I don't have any preferences as to breed, as I am open to all and very open to spending time with your pets to run them tired in the best way possible - keeping them active and entertained between your busy days. Happy to share more should you have any questions. - Alana-Jane.

Pawsitively Perfect: Your Ideal Doggie Babysitter!

Hello, pet parents! My name is Ejona, and I am currently a student in Amsterdam. As someone who has pets back home, I understand the longing for the comforting presence of pets in one's life. That is why I wanted to surround myself with animals here too, providing a nurturing environment for your companions when you're away. I've had a passion for animals since my childhood, brining over 9 years of experience to the table. While I started out taking care of canaries, bunnies and fish, I have also taken care of my aunt's dog in the summers and my neighbor's cats. Dogs hold a special place in my heart. I am glad whenever the opportunity to take care of a dog comes up, and will happily go for a walk with them or play a game of fetch in the park. Feeding, stimulating activities, and tender affection are all part of the package. Additionally, I pride myself on understanding a cat's subtle cues and preferences. From gentle strokes to engaging play, I ensure your feline friends feel cherished and content in my care. Regarding to scheduling, your convenience is my priority. I'm available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. With a calm, caring demeanor and a knack for connecting with animals, I guarantee your pets will feel right at home in my company. Trust me to treat them as if they were my own, providing the love and attention they deserve. Thank you for reading and feel free to reach out to me!

Experienced dog walker and pet sitter

Hello! My name is Luisa. I worked at a doggie daycare and a canine rehabilitation center, so I have extensive experience working with dogs from all walks of life. I have 10+ years of experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I specialize in animal safe handling and behavior. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. I love being outside, so I'll be happy to take your best friend wherever they want to go. I grew up with pets, I've attended dog training courses, and there's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I believe in safety first and following the rules, so I'm practiced with canine first aid and well-versed in walking guidelines. I believe that it is important to take each dog's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I enjoy all kinds of walks, from strolls around the block to lengthy hikes in the woods. I'm pretty flexible, so if your dog has any special needs, or if there's anywhere in particular you'd like your dog to visit, just let me know. I am as happy on a leisurely walk for a mellow dog who wants to sniff and explore as I am to tire out a dog with boundless energy. Looking forward to meeting you and your fine furry friends for lots of daily enrichment and exercise! - Luisa

Trustworthy and Loving Pet Sitter in Amsterdam

Hello! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a dedicated pet sitter in Amsterdam. My journey with animals began 8 years ago with my cat and 4 years ago with a golden retriever. Unfortunately, when my son developed allergies, we had to make the difficult decision to entrust our furry friends to trusted friends. Even now, we remain close, exchanging updates, photos, and holiday gifts. As I navigated this emotional transition, I realized that my passion for animals is unwavering. Pet sitting has become my way of reconnecting with pets while ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. My experience includes years of caring for my own pets, coupled with a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Why Choose Me? Experience: I've cared for pets for many years, understanding the importance of companionship and routine. Reliability: You can count on me to be punctual and dedicated to your pet's well-being. Caring Approach: I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe and loved. Joining your pet's journey as a sitter allows me to share my love for animals while providing you with peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion soon!

Enthousiast, liefhebbend, verzorgend, geduldig

Dat lijkt me heerlijk!' Vriendelijke groetjes, Angelique.

As good as at home 🌈🏡

A puppy has been on my Christmas wishlist since I learned how to write. Being an only child made me enjoy the company of a dog like that of a brother and I grew up always surrounded by their love. In the life period I am in, I know that adopting a dog is a great responsibility. Work, many activities, trips to Spain to visit family...That's why the dogsitting option is ideal. My name is Ruth Ruso (27) and I am from Spain. My boyfriend's name is Chris (28) and he's Dutch. We live in De Pijp neighborhood, next to Sarphati Park and in a spacious apartment with a big terrace. We enjoy walking the streets of Amsterdam on weekends and discovering new places. For us, the comfort of the little ones is the first thing. But more important is to follow the instructions of the owners. We take care of dogs in the same way that we would like them to take care of ours and we strictly respect the rules. We would love to be the next dogsitter of your dog. Leave it with us and they will feel as good as at home❤️

I love walking and playing with dogs

I’m a Brazilian exchange student of International Business and now I’m on holidays until the end of February, so I have a lot of free time. Since I was born, I have always lived in a house with dogs and, for sure, this is the part that I most miss in this exchange program. I have already had a Maltese for 14 years and now I have a puppy mixed race in my parents house in Rio de Janeiro. Also, when I was younger I used to walk with the dogs in my street to earn money, and I really loved the experience. One of my favorite hobbies is to jog, that’s why I normally spend time in parks and I really enjoying playing with dogs there. So I thought that subscribing in this site would be the perfect opportunity to do something that I miss from home and occupy my free time. I would love to walk and play with your dog! I promise that I will take the most care in the world.

Aanbeveling

Rachel took care of my dog for more than a year. She was responsible, gentle with my puppy and always helpful. My dog felt safe in her company. I can only recommend Rachel to be the next who will look after your dog.

Best Pet Pal

Hi, I’m Carey. I studied social science and I love plants and nature! I have a genuine love for animals and plenty of experience taking care of them. I love spending time with pets and ensuring they’re happy and well-cared for. My main experience is with rabbits, having cared for my own rabbit for several years. Sometimes, I also help out friends by looking after their cats and dogs, ensuring they are well-fed and have plenty of companionship while their owners are away. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for animals and the joy they bring into our lives. I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy to look after your pets. I always ensure pets in my care receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands.

Your local dog friend 🐶😊

Hello! My name is Liam, I’m 28, and I live in Noord, Amsterdam. As a child, I had a dog that was quite difficult, which gave me a deep understanding of dog behavior. I also took a year-long course on packs and behavior patterns in domesticated dogs, which further sparked my passion for animals. I love dog-sitting for friends and walking dogs, but living in a student flat in the city has made it hard for me to have a dog of my own. Nothing brings me more joy than spending time with dogs, whether it's for a relaxing walk or engaging playtime. I believe in building a connection with every dog I look after, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m available for regular walks, one-time sessions, and dog-sitting. Feel free to reach out, and let's give your dog the love and attention they deserve!
