Hi! I’m Ailin and I live in Amsterdam (near the Vondelpark). I enjoy walking and getting my 10k steps in daily and I would love to have company! Unfortunately, I’m not able to have my own dog since I moved to Amsterdam, but I would love to hang out /dogsit/ walk/ with yours and help out some dog or cat parents :) I have experience with all ages and sizes and breeds, so I have no preferences in breed or age, I love them all. Van kleins af aan ben ik al gek op dieren en ben ik altijd door huisdieren omringd geweest. Vroeger liet ik met veel plezier honden uit bij het asiel , dit wakkerde mijn dierenliefde alleen maar meer aan. Tegenwoordig pas ik regelmatig op de honden en katten van vrienden en werk ik ook op een plek waar ik omringd ben door dieren. Ik ben gek op lange wandelingen, korte wandelingen, wandelen aan zee of wandelen in het bos you name it! Jet is een geweldige dierenoppas! Ze heeft op mijn kat Pjotr gepast tijdens mijn vakantie. Helaas kreeg Pjotr net in die week een wondje aan zijn pootje, maar Jet heeft hem ontzettend goed verzorgd. We hadden tussentijds veel contact, wat mij enorm geruststelde. Ik kan haar van harte aanbevelen!

I got my first dog named Coco when I was fourteen and was somewhat unprincipled and very spoiled. The second dog I adopted a year later. Because I have dogs I couldn't bear to see a puppy living a miserable life, so I bought this puppy from a neighbour who was selling dogs and named him DD. After that it was my family who adopted a stray dog in 2019 and named her Sunny.Sunny is really tame and has recently passed her therapy dog exam and is already able to read with the kids. In 2021, we adopted our first kitten in the family, named "Joey", and she has been living with dogs ever since. I'll throw a ball and play with them when I walk the dogs and pick up dog poop on walks.

Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

Gul was an amazing pet sitter for my dog Sandy. Hey! Me and my very friendly and social Cockapoo are always excited to have other dogs join us. As with my own dog, I will make sure your dog is safe and happy with us for when you return to pick them up. As i do have a dog, I ask that we first meet so i can observe how the dogs get along first. It is very important to me that the dogs are comfortable together and enjoy themselves (both when playing and during rest). So, before any over night requests, let’s first start with a few hours at my place during the day. My home: I live in a doggy proofed apartment next to the Venserpolder metro and Duivendrecht train station with everything a dog might need or want including toys and snacks for days. While here: Nearby by, there are many green spaces (right next to my front door) and a dog walking path is located within a few mins walk away. The are also happens to be an off leash area for dogs to run around (if your dog can be let off leash and has a good recall). So, whether your dog loves to go out for a walk in the woods, run in open fields or sniffing grass, my dog and I are ready to join. For longer stays with me, I will also take the dogs to the beach (Bloomendal) or a bigger green area (Diemen Bos, Amsterdamse Bos, Gasperplas) where they can run freely once or twice a week. I take my dog out for walks every 4-6 hours (happy to adjust as needed for your dog). Text me if you have any questions for me or if you have any unique requirements your dog may need.

My dog Toni had a great day with Gautham and his dog Coco. Also de communication was very good. I'd be happy to leave Toni with them again sometime.

Dierenliefhebber met ervaring zoekt wandelmaatjes

Ik hou zo veel van honden & katten (en andere dieren)!!! Ik heb zelf nooit een eigen hond gehad, o.a. omdat ik katten had en veel reisde. Maar ik heb altijd geholpen met het zorgen voor (en soms ook het opvoeden van) honden van vrienden en buren waaronder een Cane corso, 2 Staffies en een Duitse herder. Ik heb tijdens de covid/lockdown periode ook een aantal maanden een rescue (pitbull) opgevangen die met spoed een opvang plek nodig had, omdat ik toen nog voltijd vanuit huis werkte en hier de tijd voor had. Dit heb ik ook een aantal weken gedaan voor een ander klein hondje en 2 katten waarvan de eigenaar overleden was. Ik vond het super fijn dat ik ze kon helpen en extra aandacht aan ze kon geven in die periode. Ik werk nu 3 dagen op kantoor en mijn partner 5 dagen dus helaas zit een hond voor onszelf er op dit moment niet in. Maar ik zou het heel leuk vinden om af en toe gezellig te wandelen en/of op te passen en hiermee iemand in nood te helpen.

Ik heb mijn hele leven huisdieren gehad; een kat voor 16 en een half jaar, een hond voor anderhalf jaar, vissen voor meerdere jaren, vogels voor 10+ jaar, schildpadden voor 2+ jaar, een konijn en vlinders. I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.
