I also occasionally cared for my brother's dog Beagle, so dogs full of energy aren't a challange anymore 😅 Beside dogs we also had 2 cats. Since I moved away from home I don't have my own animals, so I though it would be great to share this love with other dogs and cats. Hi! It’s Clara, Italian living in Amsterdam :) My little Maya, a 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, taught me patience and unconditional love for animals. During these 12 years caring for her with my mom, I learned to understand her and all her needs with just one tail shake or gaze (even though she is learning to speak Italian :) ). Since I moved to the Netherlands for my studies in 2022, she now lives with my mom, but I facetime her everyday :). Mijn hele leven lang ben ik al omringd door katten. Hun speelse, maar tegelijkertijd luie karakter trekt mij heel erg aan. Ik speel graag met veters of met laserlichtjes. Ik kan gieren om de sprongetjes die katten maken als ze aan het spelen zijn. Maar naast het spelen, vind ik het ook heerlijk om met katten te knuffelen en hun gespin te horen. Ik zou de hele dag met een kat op schoot kunnen zitten. Ik ben opgegroeid met een moeder als dierenarts, dus het was onmogelijk om niet van dieren te houden en daardoor zit het dus verzorgen van dieren in hart en nieren.
