I have had multiple pets, mainly dogs, as a newfoundlander, siberian husky, german shepherd, new york shire and a pug. Also had a parrot, small turtles, a rabbit and some parakeets. At the moment, Im leaving in the Netherlands away from my pets, wich I miss a lot. Reason why i decided to register at Petbnb. So that can enjoy some time with animals and take care of them. Please fill free to contact me regarding any questions you might have regarding my experience. We host a maximum of 3 dogs at the same time and it's unlikely your pet will be alone. For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. Since I've moved, they still bring their dogs to me when they go away for a longer holiday, but of course much less frequent now. I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. Hallo! Mijn naam is Myrthe en ik woon alleen in Den Haag. Ik ben een dieren liefhebber die graag uw lieve viervoeter over de vloer heeft. Zelf heb ik sinds kleins af aan een ontzettend lieve kat gehad, helaas is zij laatst overleden en lijkt het mij heel leuk om weer een huisdier voor een kortere periode in huis te hebben! Ik ben veel beschikbaar door de weeks omdat ik vaak thuis werk en in de weekenden ben ik vrij, meestal heb ik dan mijn vaste oppashondje maar het kan zijn dat hij er een weekendje niet is dus je kan altijd vragen of ik beschikbaar ben. Ik hou graag van wandelen en vind het daarom ook niet erg om voor een langere tijd met uw hond een rondje te gaan lopen buiten. Dichtbij mijn huis zijn 2 verschillende bossen & het strand van Kijkduin en is dus daarom perfect voor een lange wandeling!

I raised my Labrador Retriever for three years, from puppyhood to adulthood. Caring for him day in and day out taught me great patience and understanding of a dog's daily needs. Except for special circumstances, I spent over two hours every day on walks and playing at the park, where he happily socialized with other dogs.This regular park time allowed me to interact with many different dogs.
