Dog & Cat sitter/lover next to center of Rotterdam

I am an animal lover that doesn't own a pet (yet), so really love to be around them and spend time with them. Currently due to my job situation there are days that I am not at home so as I need to delay adopting my own little friend,I really enjoy spending time with pets on walks and pet sits. I have some experience with taking dogs for walks and dog sitting but of course since every dog is different I am keen on learning more about each dogs needs and preferences. Same for cats. Of course always great to have some standard dogs/cats to walk as then you can build a better relationship and trust but happy to meet also new pets. Vaccinated pets only accepted. ................................................................................... About me: I am Ioanna, 33yo with a love (apart from animals) of plants and nature. I enjoy taking long walks, biking, cooking and spending time with friends. I am from Greece, so can also make your dog multilingual (just kidding). I speak Greek (of course), English and a bit of Dutch so won't be any problem in communicating orders in other languages too. I am a marketing professional, so can be really creative and attentive. ..................................................................................... if you have more questions or are curious to learn more about me and experience let me know, happy to share more 😊

This is a scam! Booked three days for my dog to stay with Ioanna. She took care of him one day and then did not wish to do the other two because of the early drop off (which we previously agreed upon). So I arranged something else, let her know and have been ghosted ever since. If you do not enjoy getting scammed find someone else.

Cats or dogs, my heart is with both

Hola! My name is Lara and I'm a dancer from Spain. I've been raised surrounded by nature, animals, cats and dogs in Palma de Mallorca so now, living in the city, I take every chance I get to be around them! For 15 years of my life we had a Podenco Ibicenco at home so I'm experienced in energetic and playful dogs, to walk and jump around with them. On the other hand, I know all of them have a soft and lazy side, which I'm happy to share by staying at home with them. I used to consider myself on the dog-lover team but I quickly changed my mind when I met my partner's cat, Bunny. I love her deeply and she made me understand how amazing cats are in general (and like people, how unique they can be!), which led me to do cat-sitting and take care of other cats too. I'm a responsible, organized and positive person. At this moment my availability is quite flexible so contact me if you need help taking care of your loving, furry, living-rent-free companion!

Happy to fulfill all of your cat-sitting needs

Hello! 🐱 My name is Caroline and I am a long time cat lover. Since I was young, I've grown up with cats and have always appreciated the calmness and/or playfulness of being around them. Now that I'm living on my own, I miss the presence of a pet in the house. I recently have more free time making me more flexible to cat-sit. I have experience cat-sitting for my brother, neighbors, friends and friends of friends. I know how to handle young kittens as well as elderly cats, energetic and slightly more aggressive cats as well as calm, slower ones. I can brush/groom fur, clip nails, clean the litter box, administer oral medications and feed with wet or dry food. I always ensure to cater the experience around the needs of the cat; whether that means being playful and giving them lots of attention and petting them, or leaving them alone if they prefer solitude. I understand that if the cat only gets one visit per day it should count! While visiting your home, I don't mind doing other small tasks such as watering plants if desired. I go everywhere by bike so transport is no problem within Rotterdam.

A big heart, no matter for whom

Hoi, Janko is the name, I am 21 and recently moved to Rotterdam for my studies. Unfortunately, it is currently not feasible for me to care for my own pet, but I thought that this is no reason why I could not care for one or more. From my early days, growing up with dogs, to this day, I always find myself brighten up when I am around animals and that rubs off on them as well, making us have a great time together. I may not have the extensive pet care experience as some others, but I make up for it with patience, adaptability, and eagerness to learn. I hope to see you soon! Yours truly, Janko

Ervaren oppas

I've lived with pets all my life, I love animals

I am a master student at TUDelft from Bogota Colombia. Back home I have two lovely dogs and a cat, I really enjoy taking care of them because they are part of the family. Being so far from them is difficult, that is why I want to be a pet sitter, I want to give love and care to furry companions :) I am specially experienced with long-hair dogs. I know how to give them showers and brush them to keep their hair healthy. Also, I have experience with cats, I know that sometimes they need space and other times they want attention.

Animal loving couple with a garden

Hi :) Me and my girlfriend Maja are expats living in Rotterdam for 2+ years, and we recently moved to a pet friendly home! We've always loved pets, I've myself had dogs back in Portugal (my home country) since I was 10 years old. I currently have 3 and I miss them every day.. I'm a software engineer and my girlfriend manages a fitness studio, we often work from home so we have a lot of flexibily in terms of scheduling. We would love to get our own pets but we often travel back to our home countries so it would be difficult to balance both things at the moment. So while our lives slowly get more stable it would really make us happy to help you take care of your pets. :)

Claudia was so good with Bruno while we were away for the day. She was very responsive via the app, she sent pictures and updates of my dog and made him feel very comfortable in our absence. I will definitely consider Claudia again in the future.

Walking and sitting

I love dogs and cats very much🐶 I have lived with a dog named Tonic for most of my life, he is a beagle, very funny, smart and energetic. He is a real prankster and walking with him was an adventure. 🙃 I also often visit shelters to help pets, help walk them and just give them warmth and affection. Now I have moved to Rotterdam. Unfortunately I can't get a pet here. Therefore, I will gladly give all my love to your pet. During the walk/sitting I will play and give all my attention to your pets, so they will never be bored. I look forward to meet your dog!🐶🤍 P.s. this is new app for me that's why I still don't have any positive reviews

From the first moment our pupper met Elizaveta, he was drawn to Elizaveta. She's very kind and caring which gives her a good vibe that our dog immediately responded well too. He had a great day and we will definitely come back. 5/5 recommended, what a great find!

I will care for your pets like my own!

Hi! I'm Sasha, a student at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Being far away from home really got me missing my dogs that I don't see that often anymore. My family has always had pets (pugs more specifically). I can't remember a day of my life where I didn't have dogs near me! They're so tiny, kind and affectionate that they've definitely become like family to all of us. I can't really afford to have a dog of my own because of university (soon hopefully), so in the meantime I would love to take care of your pet! I'm pretty flexible so do not hesitate to contact me :)

Your Dog’s New Best Friend 🐶 🐾

Hi! My name is Reelika and I’m 32 years old and a very happy, bubbly, caring person with a huge love for animals. I grew up surrounded by both cats and dogs, and animals have always been a big part of my life. My family mostly had larger breeds such as Caucasian Shepherds, German Shepherds, and Mastiffs, while I personally had a lovely pug of my own. At the moment, I would absolutely love to have a dog again, but since our apartment is not very big, I feel it’s more responsible to wait for the right time. That’s one of the reasons I would truly love to care for your pet instead — giving them lots of love, attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m an active person who enjoys being outdoors, going on walks, traveling, cooking, good music, movies, and positive energy. Honestly, animals just make me happy. I truly believe they bring unconditional love and joy into our lives, and I love making them feel safe, loved, and cared for in return. I also work with children and disabled children, which has taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, care, and reliability. I’m very organized, always on time, calm by nature, and someone people can depend on. My schedule is also quite flexible, which allows me to do daytime walks, visits, overnight stays, and weekend care. I can provide: • Dog walks • Home visits • Overnight stays • Playtime and active care • Medication administration (tablets/syrups) I also had a little experience helping an independent dog walker here in the Netherlands, where I assisted with walking and caring for multiple dogs. Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and safety would always be my priority, and I would care for them as if they were my own ❤️

Hello! I’m a Taiwanese master’s student in the Netherlands, passionate about caring for animals. Having grown up with three rabbits and two cats, I’ve always been surrounded by pets and learned the nuances of animal care early on. I understand the importance of maintaining their routine in a familiar environment and am committed to providing the most comfortable and loving care. Whether it’s feeding, playing, or simply keeping them company, I cherish every opportunity to ensure they are happy and healthy in your absence. Trust me to be the caring friend your pets need while you’re away!

Our cats were very content when we got back home. Thank you for taking such good care!

"Lifetime pet lover, big dog expert & rescue foster—your pup's new best friend!"

I have been surrounded by animals since I was six years old, and I truly adore every single one of them. My experience includes handling both small and large breeds, and I am especially comfortable with big dogs. Two years ago, I fostered an abandoned puppy for five months during the wildfires in Evia, providing care, training, and lots of love. I am available for dog walking and pet sitting, ensuring your pet receives attention, exercise, and companionship while you're away. Whether your dog is energetic or shy, I adapt to their needs, making sure they feel safe and happy. I also have experience with cats and can provide the same loving care for them. I am open to all breeds and sizes, and my priority is always their well-being and happiness!
