hi there, thanks for your visit! This is Yongrui & Zining. We are couples living in Amsterdam for four years. Our apartment is at 4th floor with over 70m2 in size. Plenty of place for pets to have fun! However, our apartment does not have a elevator. There is a park and sidewalk besides the river within walking distance in which we can walk the pet. We like music & cooking & hiking & tennis etc… We love dogs & cats so much and would love to have one in the future when we are settled. Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Your pet will be cared for in a friendly, safe, and relaxed environment where we'll make sure they'll feel right at home!

Huisdieren liefhebber!

Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en katten. Van een puberende meubilair opetende Saarlooswolfshond, rondrennende Bordercollie tot geadopteerde hondjes uit diverse landen. Niks is voor mij te gek. Ik hou ontzettend van wandelen en doe dat natuurlijk liever met een hond erbij. Naar het park, op het strand, noem maar op. Momenteel woon ik in Amsterdam, vlakbij een groot park. Zo nu en dan ben ik ook in Leeuwarden te vinden (mochten daar ook petbnb opties zijn). I had lots of shelter dogs and one ex laboratory beagle. All of them had their own backpacks and needed a warm and loving house so they could grew old in peace. One of my dogs had epilepsy so he needed medication, another one needed specialised food so I know how to deal with that. My last dog passed away a year ago and I miss having a dog badly so hence this profile. I have a very kind and loving character and I’m super patient when it comes to dealing with a dog that has some particularities. I work from home so I’m super flexible and can’t wait to have some nice long walks again.

Ilse was great and very friendly. Our dog was very comfortable around her. However we had to end terms with her 2 days before because there were lot of fire crackers in Amsterdam and our dog was very scared. Not a great place for dogs during new years. Otherwise Ilse is great:slight_smile:

Dierenliefhebber met ervaring zoekt wandelmaatjes

Ik hou zo veel van honden & katten (en andere dieren)!!! Ik heb zelf nooit een eigen hond gehad, o.a. omdat ik katten had en veel reisde. Maar ik heb altijd geholpen met het zorgen voor (en soms ook het opvoeden van) honden van vrienden en buren waaronder een Cane corso, 2 Staffies en een Duitse herder. Ik heb tijdens de covid/lockdown periode ook een aantal maanden een rescue (pitbull) opgevangen die met spoed een opvang plek nodig had, omdat ik toen nog voltijd vanuit huis werkte en hier de tijd voor had. Dit heb ik ook een aantal weken gedaan voor een ander klein hondje en 2 katten waarvan de eigenaar overleden was. Ik vond het super fijn dat ik ze kon helpen en extra aandacht aan ze kon geven in die periode. Ik werk nu 3 dagen op kantoor en mijn partner 5 dagen dus helaas zit een hond voor onszelf er op dit moment niet in. Maar ik zou het heel leuk vinden om af en toe gezellig te wandelen en/of op te passen en hiermee iemand in nood te helpen.

Betrouwbare, vriendelijke en rustige oppas

Al sinds ik heel jong ben, ben ik gewend aan dieren om me heen. Ik zou mezelf dan ook omschrijven als een echte dierenvriend. Mijn ouders hebben een labradoodle en daardoor heb ik ook ervaring met het passen op honden. Ze hebben ook altijd katten gehad, dus ik weet ook goed hoe ik met hen om moet gaan. Als ik nu op een huisdier van iemand zou passen, dan zou ik er voor zorgen dat het dier zich op zijn/haar gemak voelt en er rustig mee om gaan. En ik zou luisteren naar de behoeftes van het baasje en me daar netjes aan houden.

Onze Monty was bij Berber in goede handen. Ze is betrouwbaar, op tijd en heel vriendelijk. Monty heeft een heerlijke wandeling gehad!

Van kleins af aan ben ik al gek op dieren en ben ik altijd door huisdieren omringd geweest. Vroeger liet ik met veel plezier honden uit bij het asiel , dit wakkerde mijn dierenliefde alleen maar meer aan. Tegenwoordig pas ik regelmatig op de honden en katten van vrienden en werk ik ook op een plek waar ik omringd ben door dieren. Jet is een geweldige dierenoppas! Ze heeft op mijn kat Pjotr gepast tijdens mijn vakantie. Helaas kreeg Pjotr net in die week een wondje aan zijn pootje, maar Jet heeft hem ontzettend goed verzorgd. We hadden tussentijds veel contact, wat mij enorm geruststelde. Ik kan haar van harte aanbevelen!
