Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile:) My name is Anastasia, and my first word was "a dog." I recently moved from Barcelona to Amsterdam, so my profile on the platform is new, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the four-legged residents of the Netherlands! My goal is to provide the same level of care, love and attention as if you were home and maintain the routine, so that your fur friend feels as comfortable as possible:) Back in 2016, I decided to turn my love for animals into something more constructive that may actually help dogs and their humans, and this is how I became a dog trainer. My approach is based on compassion, positive reinforcement, and understanding animal needs. After working in a dog hotel, volunteering in shelters for many years, and then creating my dog-training project (alongside my husband, who is also a dog trainer), I have deep expertise in creating a safe and loving space for your favourite creatures in the world. Anastasia was in our home for 10 days with our dog Koekie. She was the most loving and kind friend for our furbaby. We got updates and pictures or videos daily. Our dog really had such a good time with her, their energy really matched so well. We saw her multiple times before we went away. Every time Anastasia came, Koekie got so excited and wanted to go with her for nice walks and cuddle time. The house was left so clean too. Overall we highly recommend Anastasia! Rennen, wandelen, spelen om daarna lekker relaxen. Niks leuker dan een contente viervoeter! Ik beleef een fantastische connectie met dieren en heb dan zelf ook altijd dieren gehad. (Honden, katten, konijnen, geiten, vissen, cavia's en hamsters). Het zijn de grootste schatten op aarde. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. Active, caring and happy to meet a new friend

When I lived in Spain, I volunteered at dog shelters, and while I was in Colombia, I was part of an association that fed stray dogs. I’m a fitness instructor at SportCity, so I’m naturally very active and enjoy movement and being outdoors.
