Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. I love getting to know each dog's individual routine and personality and making their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. I’m always happy to send photos and little updates so you can see what your pet has been up to. đŸŸ I also grew up around much larger dogs, as my grandmother was a Rottweiler breeder for around 10 years. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❀

Hoi! Ik ben gek op dieren en word vooral heel blij van honden en katten. Toen ik nog bij mijn ouders woonde, hadden we een hond waar ik altijd veel voor heb gezorgd. Oppas aan huis!

Hi, Mijn naam is Rianne. Al mijn hele leven ben ik een grote dierenvriend. Doordat mijn vader beheerder was van een kinderboerderij ben ik opgegroeid met verschillende dieren (huisdieren en boerderijdieren). Zo hadden wij thuis altijd (heel veel) parkieten, had ik zelf een cavia, een kat en heb ik verschillende hamsters gehad door de jaren heen. Omdat ik katten heel leuk vind maar jammer genoeg zelf geen ruimte (buiten) heb voor een kat thuis lijkt het mij leuk om op te passen! Ik pas momenteel ook geregeld op de kat van familie en op die van buren. Voor andere dieren kan in natuurlijk ook langskomen! Binnen Utrecht kan ik langskomen voor voeren en natuurlijk om de kat even aandacht te geven/spelen. Mocht ik langere tijd langskomen dan kan ik natuurlijk wel ik de bak verschonen. Buiten en in Utrecht kan ik eventueel ook komen overnachten. Ik ben flexibel met werk dus zou eventueel wanneer nodig vanuit ‘huis’ kunnen werken. Met enige regelmaat pas ik al met veel liefde op huisdieren van anderen. Ik heb 4 vaste adressen om op verschillende katten en honden te passen.
