I am Italian, but I had lived in Costa Rica for many years. I am a trainer and Physiotherapist, but a pet lover too! Since I was little I had pets of all kind: dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, turtles and i love to be surrounded by them. I can do long walks in the forest near my appartament or just laying in the sofa together and take a nap! My services: 1- Dog walks: my walks are around half hour or one hour, it depends on the owner and the dog. 2- Pet sitter at my home (sleep here or just pass the day with us). Usually I do 3 walks on a day: a long walk in the morning, another one in the afternoon and one just before bedtime. Also my daughter (13yo) love pets, so she's always playing with them. Doggies can walk around, there are not dangerous things around. I live in an appartment, so everything is closed and safe. They can sleep on the sofa, if the owner let them. But is also good bring his/her bed too. 3-Visit at home: are you not at home? I can feed your pet or take him/her out. I usually stay 1 hour at home if i just have to feed them, but if you need more time, let me know. I can also walk your dog. Your beloved pet will be very happy if you choose to let him/her with us. I always send a lot of pictures of the day, videos and if is necessary I can make a video call too. I will keep you continuously informed about your pet, so that you feel more comfortable and can know how the day is going. Your pet will be very fine here: 1- 3 times walk: morning, afternoon and night. If your dog need more or less walks, let me know. I have many green areas around the apartment, some parks and a huge forest. So there is a lot of places where we can walk/run. If your dog is not trained for came back when is unleash, don't worry, anyway we can take a nice walk. 2- Plenty time to be with them! Just leave home some days a few hours. But usually they are not be alone much cause there is almost always somebody at home. 3- I actually wanted to be a veterinarian but then I changed my plans. Despite that, my children's father is a veterinarian so I learned a lot from him, so i can put injections, give medicines or something like that (of course minors things). 4- The owner has to bring the pet's food. That's better for your pet, cause any change of alimentation may be bad for him/her. I will give the food at usually pet's schedule. 5- I can't accept dogs who are not trained to make pees or poop outside! A clean apartment is a better place for they and for us! 6- I can't accept dogs which can't let alone for some hours or are too noisy. That is not that much for me but for my neighbours because I live in an apartment. I speak Spanish, Italian, English and a bit of Dutch. If you want, we can take a bath to your doggo for a small extra fee (is for my 15 yo daughter 😊). My daughter also make cookies for dogs. I hope I can be with your pet soon!

Pamela en haar familie hebben ontzettend goed voor onze hond gezorgd. Hij is bijna een week bij hen geweest en voelde zich al snel helemaal op zijn gemak. De communicatie was duidelijk, prettig en regelmatig. Pamela was flexibel, rustig en zorgzaam, en stuurde leuke updates met foto’s. Dat gaf ons veel vertrouwen en rust terwijl we weg waren. Ik vind het Leuk om een oppas te zijn

Hoi hoi, ik wil graag een oppas worden niet alleen om het geld maar omdat ik het leuk vind om dieren te verzorgen. Ik heb zelf een hondje genaamd Teddy en een dochter van 12, zij vind het ook heel erg leuk om op hondjes te letten en ze heeft ook vooral zin om wat centjes te verdienen. Anna is an amazing dog sitter! I felt so comfortable leaving my little dog, Max, with her. She is such a kind person with a big heart, and I could see that she genuinely cared about all of Max’s needs. She sent us photos, kept us updated, and was always available if we had any questions, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Max was happy, well cared for, and receiving lots of love and attention. We are so grateful to Anna and will definitely leave Maxi with her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and reliable dog sitter!

Wij, Brigitte en Elwine, hebben al jaren eigen huisdieren. En lopen iedere dag meerdere malen in het bos, over de heide, bij het water.. Wij hebben gelukkig bij ons in de buurt verschillende plekken waar je heerlijk kan zijn met de viervoeters. Als wij zelf weg gaan, is mijn vader er eigenlijk altijd voor onze dieren. Nu is het zo gegaan, dat mijn vader en wij tegelijk op vakantie gingen.. waardoor het voor ons een uitdaging werd iemand te vinden waar wij een goed gevoel bij hebben in combinatie met onze dieren. Iemand bij ons thuis; dat vind ik heel spannend! Eenmaal de persoon bij ons thuis, dit voelde aan alle kanten zo goed. Hij is bij ons thuis komen oppassen en we hebben nog steeds goed contact. Brigitte en ik hebben sowieso de wens voor de toekomst meer te gaan reizen, met een camper. Daar is nu nog niet direct geld voor. Maar door onze eigen ervaring met de honden oppas, bracht dit het idee naar boven zelf als dieren oppas door Nederland te gaan. Alles in overleg is mogelijk. Wij hebben er zin in! Ik hoop dat wij jullie net zo’n goed en vertrouwd gevoel mogen geven, als onze eigen ervaring. Lieve groet, Brigitte en Elwine.

We hadden een ontzettend goede ervaring met onze golden retriever bij Elwine en Brigitte! Ze heeft daar 3 weken gelogeerd en het heel erg naar haar zin gehad. Elwine en Brigitte gaven veel gelegenheid voor haar om lekker te rennen en te spelen, zowel aan het strand, als bij hen in de buurt. Ook hadden ze goed in de gaten wanneer ze wat rust nodig had. Ze had ook geen tekort aan aandacht en knuffels. Wij waren ondertussen met een heel goed gevoel op vakantie, waar we heel regelmatig foto's en filmpjes kregen, zodat we een fijn gevoel hadden dat zowel zij als wij een heerlijke vakantie hadden. Veel dank aan Elwine en Brigitte, zeker een absolute aanrader en een adres waar we graag nog een keer gebruik van maken!

DogSister - óók voor de poes!

Mijn kennis is gebaseerd op intuïtie en gezond verstand. In de loop van de tijd heb ik veel ervaring mogen opdoen met het begeleiden van honden en hun baasjes, door liefdevol af te stemmen op de behoeftes van het dier. * I'm fluent in English * Je parle Français couramment * Ich spreche ein wenig Deutsch LET OP: de vergoeding die automatisch wordt gecalculeerd klopt meestal niet. Helaas kan ik dit niet voorkomen. Ik kom graag naar jouw huis om voor je hond te zorgen. Vaak is het beter om een hond in de eigen vertrouwde omgeving te laten wanneer de baas een poosje weggaat. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer een hond ziek is of net geopereerd, of nogal oud of juist heel jong, of hij/zij heeft misschien een gebruiksaanwijzing of kan niet goed alleen zijn. Of er is helemaal niets aan de hand en is-tie hartstikke braaf - dat kan natuurlijk ook! Minstens vier keer per dag doen we een wandeling, ik speel spelletjes die voor jouw hond geschikt zijn, natuurlijk wordt er volop geknuffeld en uiteraard zorg ik voor de nodige rust. Als je wilt kan ik je op de hoogte houden van hoe het met je hond gaat, door je regelmatig berichtjes en foto's te sturen. De meeste baasjes vinden dat wel fijn, zeker in het begin. Dat kan ik ook goed begrijpen, want het is toch een hele stap om je hond aan een ander toe te vertrouwen. Behalve opvang voor de hond geef ik ook coaching en training voor baasje & hond samen. Ik heb veel ervaring met puppies, maar ook met dove honden en honden die dementeren. Verder kan ik helpen bij diverse opvoedingsproblemen (zelfs op latere leeftijd), waaronder trauma's, prooinijd, verlatingsangst en natuurlijk trekken aan de lijn. In geval van zeer ernstige gedragsstoornissen moet ik weleens doorverwijzen. Mijn tarieven kunnen voor iedere hond en situatie weer anders zijn, dus let niet op het bedrag wat automatisch bij je aanvraag verschijnt. Bijvoorbeeld: voor een wekelijkse lange wandeling vraag ik meestal €25, maar als ik in de vakantie drie weken bij een hond logeer dan tel ik €50 per dag. Voor een tweede of derde hond van hetzelfde baasje reken ik natuurlijk niet het volle pond! Van tevoren spreek ik altijd af om uitgebreid kennis te maken en daarna doe ik een voorstel. Logeren bij honden doe ik tijdens de schoolvakanties ook buiten Leiden. Mijn beschikbaarheid op de PetBnB kalender houd ik niet altijd precies bij. Neem gerust contact op om te overleggen over de mogelijkheden voor jouw hond.

I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.

De overige 3 weken van augustus en september ben ik nog volop beschikbaar tot 4 oktober, dan ga ik op twee andere hele lieve katten passen tot half Nov. Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!
