Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Kan ook erg goed met katten, in mijn studentenhuis in Utrecht altijd een kat gehad. Ik vind het leuk om om dieren heen te zijn en krijg er altijd energie van. Zelf ben ik sportief, zorgzaam en lief. Met dieren houd ik van knuffelen, lange wandelingen buiten, spelen en lekker samen op de bank liggen. Bij mij zou je huisdier veilig zijn, hopelijk op zijn/haar gemak en veel aandacht krijgen aangepast op wat hij/zij nodig heeft! Liefs, Fee

Fee is exceptionally pleasant, it was my first time leaving my puppy and immediately Fee welcomed us, I felt reassured he’s in good hands. Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. I grew up with all types of animals back in North Carolina, from dogs to lizards, you name it. I learned how to care for creatures, big to small, whether they were my own pets or not. While living in Amsterdam for 9 years I have taken on a few opportunities to pet sit and loved it. Hobbies zijn sporten (boulderen, wielrennen, hardlopen) en de bergen intrekken. Goed om te weten is dat ik door mijn werk niet altijd zo flexibel kan zijn als ik zou willen. Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Joost is een echte dierenvriend. Hij zorgt ervoor dat je hond geen aandacht te kort komt. Afspraken waren makkelijk te maken. Aanrader!

Ik werk regelmatig thuis en ben vrij flexibel met mijn werkplekken, en dat combineer ik graag met het gezelschap van een oppashond. Mijn kantoor is dog-friendly en mijn collega’s vinden het altijd super leuk als ik een oppashond meeneem, dus aandacht en knuffels in overvloed! Logeren mag ten slotte bij mij thuis, of ik kom gezellig op bezoek in de vertrouwde omgeving van jouw hond. Ik heb voornamelijk ervaring met grotere honden, en katten, maar ik vind kleine hondjes ook geweldig! Ik ben betrouwbaar, verantwoordelijk, lief maar ook consequent (hier worden honden vaak ook het meest blij van, namelijk duidelijkheid). Ik werk momenteel 35 uur per week, waarbij ik in de oneven weken op vrijdag vrij ben. Op werkdagen ben ik vaak op kantoor en ben daarom doordeweeks van 06.00-08.00 uur en na 18.00 uur beschikbaar. Af en toe ga ik in het weekend naar mijn ouders in Brabant. Na mijn werkdag ga ik ook nog graag een rondje wandelen, lijkt me gezellig om dat samen met een hondje/hondjes te doen! Graag kom ik bij jou thuis, ik vind het belangrijk dat je huisdier zich op zijn/haar gemak voelt door de eigen vertrouwde omgeving. Ik behandel je trouwe viervoeter alsof het mijn eigen kind is en zal je gedurende de dag op de hoogte houden mocht je dit fijn vinden! Twijfel vooral niet om me een berichtje te sturen! Ik kom je huisdier graag ontmoeten en hoor graag wat de wensen van jou en je huisdier zijn.

Felice heeft op onze kat gepast en we zijn heel blij met hoe het is gegaan. Ze was serieus, reageerde snel en stuurde ons updates over hoe het ging met Mau. Als je iemand zoekt om op te passen raad ik Felice zeker aan!

Ik woon vlakbij het Amsterdamse Bos en een aantal parken in Zuid. Zelf heb ik Staffords gehad en ervaring met in een rustige en kalme sfeer honden tot hun recht te laten komen. Een paar jaar geleden heb ik me verdiept in stressreductie bij honden. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar honden die enigszins getraind zijn. Ze mogen bij mij van alles, zoals op de bank, op schoot en op het bed slapen. Zindelijk zijn, even alleen kunnen zijn, mee in de auto kunnen, maakt het makkelijker.
