Having a dog of our own, we have a wealth of experience in minding dog (Cody's been a handful, so we're used to dealing with all kinds of issues (sicknesses, etc.). Hello from a local dog lover and enthusiast! I have loved dogs for all of my life, and had my own (Captain, a rescued mutt) since I was 12 years old. Although I've only sporadically had a dog in my own vicinity since then, I spent a few months dog-sitting a doberman during a workaway two years ago, and spent this summer on a husky kennel in Tana, Norway caring for and doing the daily routines of 47 huskies (including 4 puppies and 11 yearlings). My experience with dogs I would consider wide-ranging, and I am so happy to hang out with dogs as it really brings me the greatest joy. I have a cosy and relatively large flat which I share with my roommate who is a horseback-rider and fellow animal lover and enthusiast. This means that your pooch will get a 2-for-1 deal and friend in us both (although the dog would be my responsibility and remain in my space mostly). However, as there are two of us, and I live in a building with many friends nearby, the dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. I am a student with a schedule that is heavy on Mondays and Thursdays, with the other days all 'off' (and a 3 hour course on Wednesdays), meaning I have plenty of free time to watch after and hang out with a canine companion. Additionally, there is always someone nearby should there be an emergency that needs tending to, and my uni is a 6 minute walk from the flat, for extra insurance.

I go on walks everyday and would love a companion

The dopamine I get from seeing a dog in his happy element brings me immense joy. Taking them on long walks while playing games with them makes the happy moments in our days. A couple, want to practise before adopting a dog

We are a young French couple (Thomas & Agathe), we live in 100m2 apartments, we want to practice having a dog at home before adopting one in the future. We both love animals, we are both working 50% remote, and live in an area with big green spaces around for walks (Osdorpplein, Sloterpark). We look forward to keep and walk your loved ones! We both have lived younger with animals (cats and dogs), and we are used to lived with. We started to do dogsitting in Amsterdam last year on PetBnb, and we like to do it together as a « couple activity »!

They have patience, understanding and willingness to know about the dog's behaviour and his everyday schedule. Meet and greet went smoothly. They were listening each and everything instruction very well and asking relevant questions. They provided photos and updates everyday and were responding to the messages regularly. This made us stress free and we could enjoy our holiday perfectly well. Our doggie felt comfortable with them. When we picked him up we could see that he has a nice stay with them as he was looking happy and relaxed.
