Home away from home!

I live with my husband, who love dogs as much as I do and also have experience taking care of them & we love having a furry friend at our place to shower lot of love! I have been on other petsitting apps , where I have taken care of almost 10-15 dogs for the past 3 years. I moved to Amsterdam recently from Rotterdam and we live in a Pet-friendly neighborhood with lots of open space for long walks! I always exchange with friends to look after each other's dogs when we go on holidays. My last chow died at the age of 15 in March. Mijn laatste chow stierf op 15-jarige leeftijd in maart. Maart. Ik ben nog niet toe aan een nieuwe, maar... maar ik zou graag weer bij de beste vrienden. Ik woon in een huisdier-proof appartement met honden deur naar het terras op het zuiden met groen uitzicht. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. De buurt is erg groen, letterlijk een hondenpark onder mijn balkon. Er zijn meer en graslanden in de buurt, perfect om te wandelen honden. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. Last but not least, mijn partner en ik hebben wonen samen sinds 2007, nu werken we allebei werken vanuit huis en houden veel van honden, ik garanderen dat we veel tijd hebben om te spelen met uw baby's! ❤️

We had a great experience with Dillon and would definitely book with him again. He took excellent care of Hilbert, regularly sent us lovely videos from their walks, gave him the medication he needed, and even kept his health tracker charged. Everything went smoothly, and it was clear that Hilbert was well looked after throughout his stay. Highly recommended!

Dieren hebben altijd als een rode draad door mijn leven gelopen. Als kind hadden wij thuis altijd honden, katten, konijnen, cavia's ( niet alles te gelijk:), heb jarenlang paard gereden. Hebben nu nog 1 poes van 14 jaar en sinds maart 2023 een zeer sociale, rustige, goed opgevoede, 3 jarige Siberische Husky die ik vanuit de pleeg , ( toen werkend bij een asiel) en training uiteindelijk bij mij is gebleven. Het lijkt mij heerlijk om in een andere mooie omgeving voor een lieve andere sociale hond ( en ) te zorgen, mits ik Zoya ,mijn Siberische Husky mee kan/mag nemen.Samen te wandelen, te spelen en genieten van de omgeving ( mogen ook andere dieren bij zijn natuurlijk :)) Eind 2019 aan werk gegaan als vrijwilliger bij een dierenasiel op de honden afdeling. Begin van Corona, was ik daar zo'n 3 tot 4x p.w.en hielp de kennels schoonmaken, wandelen, socialiseren, trainen van de honden, inwerken nieuwe mensen, ondersteunen vrijwilligers, bijeenkomsten enz. Veel geleerd en meer passie voor de honden gekregen. Hierdoor besloten o.a. een opleiding te volgen tot hondengedragstherapeut Tevens met 8 anderen in dienst geweest als Puppyteam voor 7 maanden In wisseldiensten, 18 Drachtige mama's ondersteund + socialisatie met geboorte van totaal 142 pups en bijkomende werkzaamheden. Een bijzondere en rijke ervaring. Daarna blijven hangen bij het hondenteam zelf. Nu niet meer werkzaam bij het asiel, wel zelf coachen en trainen van honden en mensen. Tevens Sport & Ontspanning therapeut. Daarvoor jaren in evenementen branche gewerkt. Beurzen, congressen, evenementen nat.+Int. Alles zzp, wat mij vooral de laatste jaren zeer flexibel maakt:) Ik hou van de natuur en buiten zijn. Vooral bos,duin,heide. Een liefdevol tweede thuis voor jouw Labrador 🐾

Hoi, ik ben Dennis, 45 jaar, en ik heb een enorme liefde voor Labradors. Na twaalf prachtige jaren met mijn eigen bruine Labrador heb ik onlangs afscheid van hem moeten nemen. Hij was niet alleen mijn hond, maar echt mijn maatje. We deden alles samen: wandelen, zwemmen, op pad gaan en genieten van het buitenleven. Hoewel ik op dit moment nog niet toe ben aan een nieuwe eigen hond, mis ik de aanwezigheid van een Labrador enorm. Daarom lijkt het mij ontzettend fijn om af en toe voor een Labrador te mogen zorgen, ermee te wandelen of hem een liefdevolle dag- of logeeropvang te bieden. Wat mij misschien onderscheidt van veel andere oppassers, is dat ik niet op zoek ben naar zoveel mogelijk honden. Ik zoek juist één of twee Labradors waarmee ik een band kan opbouwen. Ik weet uit ervaring hoe bijzonder het ras is: trouw, sociaal, gevoelig, enthousiast en altijd graag in de buurt van mensen. Juist dat karakter spreekt mij enorm aan. Ik woon direct aan het Amsterdamse Bos. Iedere wandeling begint letterlijk vanaf mijn voordeur. Binnen enkele minuten sta ik in het bos, waar prachtige wandelroutes zijn. Daarnaast woon ik vlak bij een waterplek waar Labradors in de zomer heerlijk kunnen zwemmen. Na een wandeling door het bos of een duik in het water kan ik jouw hond op mijn terras eenvoudig afspoelen met de buitendouche. Mijn woning en omgeving zijn ideaal voor een Labrador: 🐾 Direct aan het Amsterdamse Bos 🐾 Mooie wandelroutes direct vanuit huis 🐾 Zwemplek op loopafstand 🐾 Groot terras met zowel zon- als schaduwplekken 🐾 Buitendouche voor na een zwempartij of modderige wandeling 🐾 Rustige en veilige woonomgeving 🐾 Veel ruimte voor rust, aandacht en ontspanning Door mijn werk ben ik slechts twee à drie korte periodes per maand van huis. De rest van de tijd ben ik juist veel thuis en heb ik volop tijd voor wandelingen, aandacht en gezelschap, zowel overdag als in de avonduren. Mocht ik zelf een keer even weg zijn voor een boodschap, een afspraak of een bezoek aan de sportschool, dan is mijn partner vrijwel altijd thuis. Ook hij is een grote Labradorliefhebber en heeft jarenlang met evenveel liefde voor onze eigen Labrador gezorgd. Jouw hond zal hier dus nooit aan zijn lot worden overgelaten en kan altijd rekenen op aandacht, gezelschap en een vertrouwde omgeving. Voor veel honden is rust, aanwezigheid en menselijk contact minstens zo belangrijk als beweging. Juist dat kunnen wij bieden. Er is vrijwel altijd iemand thuis en een Labrador wordt hier niet gezien als een oppashond, maar als een welkom huisgenootje dat alle aandacht krijgt die hij verdient. Mijn ervaring komt niet uit een cursus of een boek, maar uit twaalf jaar dagelijks leven met een Labrador. Ik weet hoe belangrijk vertrouwen, duidelijkheid, beweging, rust en liefde zijn. Ik begrijp wanneer een hond behoefte heeft aan actie, maar ook wanneer hij juist behoefte heeft aan ontspanning en aandacht. Lief, enthousiast en gek op honden.

Heerlijk buiten wandelen en lekker kroelen en spelen binnen. Ik vind alle honden geweldig en heb zelf een hele lieve Engelse Cocker Spaniel (vrouwtje). Ik werk 40 uur in de week maar ook veel thuis dus ik ben heel flexibel. Ook in het weekend flexibel. Hou erg van wandelen en buiten zijn. Maar ook binnen kan ik de hond goed vermaken of hem/haar lekker laten uitrusten. Ik ben een lief, verantwoordelijk en zorgzaam baasje en altijd heel erg enthousiast. I’ve been fortunate to have dogs as part of my life for as long as I can remember. They bring so much love, happiness, and companionship to a home, and I truly can’t imagine life without them. Ours has always been a family of dog lovers. My husband, our two adult children, and I have shared our lives with dogs for many years. We’ve loved taking our dog on long walks, exploring new places together, and enjoying the simple everyday moments that become so much more special with a dog by your side. The bond we shared with our beloved Beagle, Bo, brought us even closer as a family. We recently lost Bo, who was truly the heart of our family. We miss him every single day, but we still have so much love, care, and affection to give. Becoming a pet sitter feels like the perfect way to share that love with other dogs while giving their owners complete peace of mind that their cherished companions are in kind, experienced, and trustworthy hands. Over the years, I've cared for dogs with a wide range of needs and have extensive experience providing extra support for those requiring special care. I'm confident managing strict dietary requirements, closely monitoring dogs with medical conditions, and providing the additional attention they need to stay happy, comfortable, and healthy. I am also experienced and confident in administering all forms of medication, including tablets, liquids, eye and ear drops, topical treatments, and daily injections, always following owners' instructions carefully and ensuring each dog remains as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I work from home much of the time and have a flexible schedule, which means I can provide plenty of company, supervision, and care throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy having dogs by my side while I work—they're wonderful companions, and I love having them as part of my daily routine. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away, because that's exactly what I would have wanted for Bo. Every dog I look after will be welcomed into our home as part of the family, receiving plenty of love, attention, exercise, cuddles, and the individual care they deserve. Whether they're a playful puppy, a senior dog needing a slower pace, or a dog with additional medical or dietary needs, I'll care for them with the same love, patience, and dedication that I gave to Bo. My aim is simple: to provide a safe, loving, home-from-home environment where your dog feels secure, happy, and cherished until you're back together again.

Hi! I am Saori. I work from home most of the time, and I love dogs, but at the moment I don't think it's a good moment to get my own furry friend – that's why I have joined Petbnb.
