From the start, the communication was amazing, thoughtful questions to get to know Piper and his personality and regular checkins to tell us how they were getting on. Hi, I’m Rama and I live with my two sweet dogs, Canela, a rescue from Mexico, and Polly, a dachshund, in the center of The Hague. In our home, there is plenty of space for your furry friend. Canela is always excited to meet a new friend to play with. The apartment has a 10 m² terrace where our four-legged friends can play, and the house itself is spacious enough as well. I’m also very easygoing: being on the couch or bed is no problem at all. Besides having my own pets, I have a lot of experience looking after dogs and cats, especially my neighbors’ dogs when they were at work. I do currently have an injury in my hand, so at the moment I am not able to take care of large dogs. Since Canela loves to run, we go on long walks, and I really enjoy being outside. I also get along well with cats. I understand their need for space, but I’m always there for a cuddle or a moment of play when they want it. Daarnaast ben ik niet zo moeilijk: op de bank of op bed liggen is bij mij geen probleem. Naast mijn eigen huisdieren heb ik veel ervaring met het oppassen op honden en katten, vooral op de honden van mijn buren wanneer zij aan het werk waren. Wel heb ik momenteel een blessure aan mijn hand, waardoor ik op dit moment geen grote honden kan opvangen. Omdat Canela graag rent, maken we lange wandelingen. Ik geniet er zelf ook erg van om buiten te zijn. Ook met katten kan ik goed overweg. Ik begrijp dat zij behoefte hebben aan hun eigen ruimte, maar ik ben er altijd voor een knuffel of een speelmoment wanneer zij daar zin in hebben. Bij mij krijgen jouw huisdieren alle aandacht, liefde en zorg die ze verdienen!

Rama is zeer gastvrij, liefdevol voor je viervoeter en weet zich goed te verplaatsen in je huisgenoot. ook met zijn baasje kon ze prettig communiceren, en was ze zeer behulpzaam. kortom, een erg prettig adres om in vol vertrouwen je maatje achter te laten.

Warm welcome

Dieren zijn altijd een belangrijk onderdeel van mijn leven geweest. Ik ben opgegroeid met verschillende huisdieren, waaronder katten, cavia's, ratten, gerbils en hamsters. Later heb ik zelf twee Perzische katten gehad, waardoor ik veel ervaring heb opgedaan met de dagelijkse verzorging, vachtverzorging en het herkennen van de behoeften van katten. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik regelmatig op honden, katten en cavia's gepast. Ik vind het belangrijk dat ieder dier zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom neem ik de tijd om een band op te bouwen en pas ik mijn aanpak aan op het karakter en de behoeften van het dier. Naast de dagelijkse verzorging heb ik ook ervaring met kammen en het toedienen van medicijnen als dat nodig is. Omdat ik regelmatig van huis ben, kan ik zelf momenteel geen huisdieren hebben. Juist daarom geniet ik extra van de momenten waarop ik vrij ben of thuis werk en voor de dieren van anderen mag zorgen. Ik behandel ieder huisdier alsof het mijn eigen dier is, met veel aandacht, geduld en liefde. Ik pas met veel plezier op zowel katten als honden van alle leeftijden. Rustige honden, senioren en katten voelen zich vaak snel op hun gemak bij mij, maar ook actieve en speelse dieren zijn van harte welkom, zolang hun behoeften duidelijk worden besproken. Kleine diertjes zoals hamsters en cavia's kunnen ook bij mij terecht! Alleen met puppy's heb ik weinig ervaring, dus die liever niet. Goede communicatie met de eigenaar vind ik belangrijk, zodat ik de verzorging zoveel mogelijk kan voortzetten zoals het dier gewend is.

Hello dog lovers, I work from home a few days a week and love having a little companion throughout the day. My husband, Lourens, and I also have our own little dog, Ansie Bester, a 4 kg Yorkshire Terrier. She’s very social and loves having a friend around, especially smaller dogs that she can comfortably play with. While I love all animals, I have a special place in my heart for tiny dogs. Hey there, Glad you found our profile. We are Manon and Merijn, a couple in the centre of The Hague. We want to adopt a dog ourselves in the future, but first get some experience having dogs in our house. We were both born into households filled with dogs, so we have a lot of experience taking care of them.
