I lived on a farm with over 10 dogs as a kid which began my love and passion for dogs. Throughout all my ups and downs, I could always lean back to the support of my dog. As I am studying here, I miss having a best friend. I can't promise that I am a professional dog trainer but I can promise that I would take great care of your dogs and show them the love they deserve. I have always been good with dogs and at any social gathering, you would find me hanging out with the owners' dog as they are there for you no matter what, which is hard to say about many people. I am respectful of rules and am punctual, the expectations set by the owner are guaranteed to be met and I hope to be the reliable and caring dog sitter that you have been looking for.

Basel took care of our two dogs for 10 days while we were on vacation and he was phenomenal! Our dogs had tons of long fun walks, he sent photos, and they came home relaxed and well- behaved from there stay with Basel. I can tell he was patient, kind, and consistent with his care for our dogs. We will use him again!

Ik ben een enorme dierenliefhebber (het gekst op katten waar ik er twee van heb). Al vanaf mijn jeugd heb ik veel op honden gepast en uitgelaten. Voornamelijk grote honden zoals ierse wolfhonden en herders. De laatste jaren veel gewandeld en gespeeld met spaniels. Mijn katten spelen overdag graag buiten, maar zijn wel bang voor blaffende honden. Met een rustige hond kunnen zij omgaan. Voor een hond om bij mij thuis te komen is het dus ook belangrijk dat deze niet blaft of gemeen is naar katten. Vooral van katten weet ik heel veel af en heb ik snel door als er iets mis met ze is door veel youtube kanalen die ik over katten volg. een cursus dieren ehbo staat nog op de planning.

Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb mij altijd geïnteresseerd in honden en hun gedrag, hun doen en denken. Zelf heb ik een vrolijke actieve hond van momenteel 5 jaar oud. We zijn altijd samen op pad, maken lange wandelingen, we houden van spelen en mentale uitdagingen (parcours afleggen/agility). Eenmaal thuis kan hij goed zijn rust vinden en slaapt hij graag. Mijn hond vindt grote honden erg spannend, vandaar dat ik heb aangegeven alleen op kleine tot middelgrote honden te willen oppassen.

Timmi heeft een geweldige tijd gehad! Sofie is heel begaan met haar geweest en heeft haar ook lekker gedrild en onder de duim gehouden. De match met haar hond was top, dikke maatjes waren ze. Tussendoor veel foto's en filmpjes gekregen en heel gerust m'n hondenkind achter kunnen laten bij Sofie.

Hondenoppas voor kleine(re) honden 🐕

Ik ben dol op honden, al sinds dat ik ben opgegroeid met een jack russell. Zij is uiteindelijk 16 jaar oud geworden. Momenteel ben ik trotse baas van Kees, de keeshond op de foto’s. Een gecastreerde reu van 8,5 jaar oud die dol is op balletjes, aandacht en knuffels. Regelmatig pas ik op andere hondjes uit de buurt op, groot en klein, te zien op mijn overige foto’s. In het begin is het soms even wennen, maar het gaat altijd goed. Samen spelen, eten en stiekem toch wel op de bank slapen (wat eigenlijk niet mag ;)). Over mij: woonachtig in Rotterdam samen met mijn vriend en ik ben 30 jaar oud. Ik werk bij een IT bedrijf dus ik kan ontzettend veel thuiswerken en dat is alleen maar gezellig voor de hondjes! Achter onze voordeur zit een stijle trap, dus de oppashond moet te tillen zijn of trap kunnen lopen. Daarnaast heb ik dan wel geen tuin, maar de Kralingse Plas zit op 10 minuutjes lopen dus daar ben ik dagelijks met Kees en de eventuele oppashond te vinden! Kees heeft een lichte voorkeur voor teefjes en niet al te drukke hondjes.

I had my doggie, a mixed dog 🐕 called Wailer. he was extremely energetic and he challenging me everyday. He also show me the real love. He passed away 7 years ago after 3 years of a kidney sickness .So i've been challenged also in how take care in a special way with medicins , injection and extra love. I also had 6 cats ( not at the same time) but they were being rescued and getting older. They just part of my life.
