Maaike heeft goed voor onze hond (Moos) gezorgd. Moos is hier 1,5 dag geweest. Gedurende zijn verblijf heeft Maaike ons op de hoogte gehouden middels appjes en foto's. Hierop zag ik dat Moos het erg naar zijn zin had en ook ontspannen was. Hij kreeg ook voldoende aandacht van Maaike.

I live with my partner in Blijdorp, we have a quite spacious house and a small garden. Hondenoppas voor kleine(re) honden 🐕

Ik ben dol op honden, al sinds dat ik ben opgegroeid met een jack russell. Zij is uiteindelijk 16 jaar oud geworden. Momenteel ben ik trotse baas van Kees, de keeshond op de foto’s. Een gecastreerde reu van 8,5 jaar oud die dol is op balletjes, aandacht en knuffels. Regelmatig pas ik op andere hondjes uit de buurt op, groot en klein, te zien op mijn overige foto’s. In het begin is het soms even wennen, maar het gaat altijd goed. Samen spelen, eten en stiekem toch wel op de bank slapen (wat eigenlijk niet mag ;)). Over mij: woonachtig in Rotterdam samen met mijn vriend en ik ben 30 jaar oud. Ik werk bij een IT bedrijf dus ik kan ontzettend veel thuiswerken en dat is alleen maar gezellig voor de hondjes! Achter onze voordeur zit een stijle trap, dus de oppashond moet te tillen zijn of trap kunnen lopen. Daarnaast heb ik dan wel geen tuin, maar de Kralingse Plas zit op 10 minuutjes lopen dus daar ben ik dagelijks met Kees en de eventuele oppashond te vinden! Kees heeft een lichte voorkeur voor teefjes en niet al te drukke hondjes.

Daarom bied ik kleinschalige, huiselijke vakantieopvang aan voor hondjes met een volwassen gewicht tot maximaal 3,5 kg. Als geaccrediteerd hondengedragstherapeut en ervaren paraveterinair kijk ik verder dan alleen de dagelijkse verzorging. Ik let op lichaamstaal, stresssignalen en de individuele behoeften van ieder hondje. De één speelt graag samen, terwijl de ander juist behoefte heeft aan meer rust en eigen ruimte. Ook hondjes die wat extra begeleiding nodig hebben, bijvoorbeeld omdat ze moeite hebben met alleen zijn of ander uitdagend gedrag laten zien, zijn van harte welkom. Nieuwe hondjes maken op een rustige manier kennis met elkaar via zorgvuldig begeleide één-op-één-introducties. Op korte termijn was ik opzoek naar een fijn logeer adres voor ons hondje. Nicole wilde ons graag helpen en ik denk dat we het niet beter hadden kunnen treffen. Hele mooie omgeving en zeer nette plek waar ons hondje verbleef in huiselijke sfeer. Nicole heeft veel ervaring met honden en wist ons hondje goed te begeleiden tijdens het verblijf bij haar. Fijn contact en veel updates over hoe het ging met ons hondje, dit heb ik als erg fijn ervaren. Al met al super ervaring en wij weten waar we moeten zijn als we nog eens een logeer adres nodig hebben voor ons hondje!

I have experience with difficult dogs, such as dogs that are easily scared by noises, have separation anxiety, and do not get along with other dogs or cats. My dog used to not get along with other dogs on the leash (but he was friendly at the dog park), so I can walk your pet while being vigilant, if you need this kind of service. My last dog needed to take an oral liquid medicine every day due to an autoimmune disease, so I also have experience in giving medicine via mouth! I live near Central Station and next to three parks, including one with a dedicated dog area, and my ground-floor apartment has a fenced garden too! I used to play with my dog in my fenced garden, and I will play with your dog too. Because I have had dogs in my life, and because I had one myself until a few months ago, I can provide the best love and care, treating your dog just like it's my dog. I will carefully listen to your needs and instructions and provide the best care possible.
