Mijn kinderen en ik houden van honden, helaas kunnen we er zelf geen hebben. We zijn heel graag buiten, gaan naar het strand en het bos en houden erg veel van knuffelen en spelen. We zouden het een aanvulling vinden om een hond als logee te hebben! Als scholier en student paste ik op onze eigen hond (golden retriever) als mijn ouders met vakantie gingen. Mijj familie heeft altijd honden gehad. Wij zelf hebben een tijdje een mixed ras hond van Aruba gehad en het heeft ons plezier en gezondheid (veel buiten!!) gebracht. Nu staan we open voor vrolijke en speelse (niet te druk :)) logees.

I am a Venezuelan, 29 years old. I recently moved to a new apartment in The Hague, together with my boyfriend, Rupert (33 years old), and we are so excited because we are allowed pets at home for the first time since we moved from our home country! I grew up with dogs as part of my family and that's the kind of family I wish to have someday in the future. Given my current lifestyle (busy with my work, going frequently to the office), I'd like to wait a bit longer until I have enough time to dedicate to them. I learned how to take care of dogs when I was a little girl. Our family dog, Bicho, stayed with us until I was 12 years old. After that, I was the go-to person to babysit the two dogs of my grandma and thereafter, the puppy of my aunt (all of them schnauzers). And not so long ago, I volunteered at the 'Animal Rescue' organization of Madrid (I studied my bachelor over there), where I'd take care of rescued dogs, take them for walks, and incentivize people to adopt them. My boyfriend also has vast experience with dogs. He was lucky to raise a Weimaraner and have him as his companion for over 10 years, and he currently shares caring responsibilities of his sister's Poodle - they live in Hamburg and we babysit every now and then. When it comes to my availability, I am always available during weekends -24 hours a day. However, if the booking is done some days in advance, arranging having a dog during the week is also possible, as I have the flexibility of working from home, which adds some extra availability for weekdays too. I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them forever.

Domenica was sooo lovely and communicative! We were running late to drop our dogs off before an appointment and she was very accommodating, and so sweet about the dogs. They seemed to have a lovely and safe time, and we hope we will be able to leave them with Domenica again x

Zorgzame en energieke honden uitlater en oppas!

Ik heb sinds mijn geboorte tot mijn twintigste gewoond in huis met allerlei honden, grote en kleine, en kan daardoor met veel honden overweg. Ik heb ook honden uitgelaten in Nijmegen en heb daardoor ook veel ervaring met andermans honden uitlaten. Elke hond is anders en dient anders benadert te worden en daarvoor ben ik! Ik heb zelf veel Boomer hondjes gehad en veel gemixte rassen. Ook hebben we thuis een herder gehad, een Maltezer en een Boeren Fox. In Nijmegen heb ik een Chihuahua, labrador en een maltezer toypoodle uitgelaten. Ook meerdere honden tegelijkertijd is mogelijk. Honden kunnen ook bij mij blijven overdag of als een overnachting. Ik heb een studio tien minuten fietsen van het strand, kleiner dan een woonhuis, maar groter dan een kooi in een kennel! Ook zit het Zuiderpark op tien minuten wandelen en mag u bij twijfels altijd even eerst langskomen. Er zijn mooie velden en hondenparken in mijn buurt en ik laat uw hond zoveel buiten als u wil. Ik ben toch thuis studerende en flexibel.

(English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. Ik woon dichtbij het Haagse Bos en vind het heerlijk om met een hond door het bos te wandelen. Doordeweeks werk ik, maar ik mag van mijn werkgever veel thuiswerken. Mijn werk kan ik overal waar WiFi is uitvoeren, dus ook bij jouw huisdier. Tussendoor en tegelijk met mijn werkzaamheden kan ik je hond uitlaten, met je hond/kat spelen en aandacht geven. Mijn kantoorrooster is zodanig flexibel dat ik bijvoorbeeld elke maandag voor je geliefde huisdier kan zorgen. We kunnen hier uiteraard goed contact over hebben wat jouw wensen zijn! Ik kan jou helpen door je hond met een middag- en/of avondrondje uit te laten, of ik kan bij jou thuis voor een aantal uur op je hond passen. Oppas voor je kat nodig? Ik kom graag langs bij jou thuis om hem/haar eten te geven en water bij te vullen, en met je kat te spelen en knuffelen als hij/zij dat wil. Ik ben in bezit van een eigen auto. Whether that's in the form of a cat or a dog doesn't really matter to me. I like both animals! In my parental home, I grew up in a lively animal household. We had a dog (recently: a Münsterlander, previously: a Papillon), 4 cats, rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs. I personally raised one of our dogs and took it to training (the Münsterlander, it's a hunting dog pedigree). Our cat has been pregnant twice, with one litter being rejected. During the week, I work, and my employer allows me to work from home. I can do my job anywhere there’s Wi-Fi — including at your pet’s home. In between and alongside my work, I can walk your dog, play with your dog/cat, and give him/her attention. My office schedule is flexible, so I can promise that I can take care of your beloved pet every Monday, for example. We can have good contact about this! I can help walking your dog's afternoon and/or evening walk, or I can look after your dog at your home for a few hours. Need a sitter for your cat? Evie was with Saar for the first time for almost two weeks. From what I saw and understood, Saar has a very special interest towards the furry friends and Evie was taken care very well and it was very clear that Evie had a very good time with Saar. Vanessa is een hele goede, maar vooral een lieve oppas. Ons hondje Teddy is voor het eerst naar Vanessa gegaan en heeft het heel goed gehad. Teddy kwam ontspannen en lekker moe weer thuis. Ik zou geen andere oppas meer willen voor Teddy. Namens Teddy en ons enorm bedankt!

Al 27 jaar leef ik samen met honden en katten. Mijn ouders hebben altijd honden en katten gehad waardoor ik mij geen leven zonder kan voorstellen. Samen met mijn vriend heb ik twee jaar voor de hond van mijn oma gezorgd, toen zij naar een verzorgingstehuis moest. Hij is inmiddels overleden en daarom lijkt het ons super leuk om af en toe op de hond van iemand anders te passen. Ik woon samen met mijn vriend. We werken allebei veel thuis, waardoor het goed te combineren is met een hond. Ik heb geen voorkeur voor een hondenras. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met teckels, dus ik ben lekker eigenwijze honden gewend ;)
