My name is Sonia, I am 25 years old and I love to spend most of my free time with dogs. That is why I volunteered in a shelter in England and currently am volunteering in an animal shelter in Maastricht. 
I have extensive experience with caring for many diverse dog breeds, even ones with behavioural difficulties (dogs with extensive fear; anxious ones, hyperactive or sensitive). 
If requested, I am capable of giving obedience and agility training to your dog as well. I can learn your dog to walk nicely on a leash. ;) 
Attending to dogs for over 16 years, I’ve created an understanding of their behaviour and developed an ability to anticipate and meet their individual needs, as every dog has its own personality.
My commitment extends beyond routine care, I'm eager to handle your doggy as best as I can to make them feel safe and comfortable. Your dog will not just have a caretaker, but a devoted companion in me.

***Background info about me***
I graduated in Psychology and found an interest in animal behaviour and cognition. Currently, I am pursuing another degree, in Sustainability, with an interest in animal protection and wildlife conservation.

***About my apartment***
I live on the borders of Maastricht & Belgium - on Krijtstraat. In our spacious two bedroom apartment we live together with my parter Tomas (you can see him with dogs on one of the photos). We live together for 7 years and often welcome different dog friends at our place. Few steps from our building is located a huge dog park with training facilities (bridges, bars...) which is oftentimes empty (see the photos in my gallery).

*I care for young and old dogs; for small and big breeds; for nautered and not neutered without any difference.

*I live in an apartment building, therefore, I cannot accept dogs that like to bark too much. :/
