Hello! We are a 35 year old couple (Courtney & Khaled) fun, energetic family, with a 2 year old daughter and a 3 year old dog named Moose (stabyhoun x goldendoodle). Moose is the friendliest, happiest dog you'll ever meet and has never shown even an ounce of agression. He just wants to play and meet other doggies, which is why we thought we'd offer to dogsit. We love dogs of all shapes and sizes 🐕🐕‍🦺🐶🐩

Who are we? I (Courtney) am American & Khaled is Jordanian, we met while studying for our master's degrees (MBA) 10 years ago and are very happy living here in Holland. We love to travel, explore new cultures, foods & wines, and are very easy-going and laid back. For work, I am a Director in a multinational company, leading global philanthropy/non-profit giving, working from my home office. Khaled works for a cool, innovative e-bike company😊🚲

What makes us special? We have a large, 1200m2 property with a fully fenced backyard facing the forest. Birds chirping, places to sniff, secluded privacy, & lots of room to run around! I work from home full-time, and Khaled is flexible, so your doggy will rarely (if ever) be left alone, and if so, only for short periods. There are only 3 days a week where we are both working, but someone is always home, letting them outside, giving cuddles & treats, and taking walks. It's dog paradise☀️

Our vision: We absolutely love dogs and want each dog that stays with us to feel like it's vacation. Dogs deserve to live happy lives, just as people do, and we try to make sure that every dog is happy, healthy, and having fun. We will send tons of photos, videos & updates -- and will do everything we can to make sure your dog has a great time with us.

Our home is 250m2 and your doggy has plenty of options of where he/she wants to sleep. We have lots of toys and treats, and welcome any special instructions that will make your fur-baby feel most comfortable.

There is even a big dog bed facing the garden. Even on rainy days, there is plenty of space to run around inside without getting bored. During the day, we usually leave the big sliding doors open so they can run freely from inside & outside, around in the garden.
We are lucky to have the Hilversum forest just a 10minute walk away, which is an off-leash area. We will go for a long walk to the forest once a day, multiple short walks, and tons of time outside in the backyard. Your dog can also play in our kiddy pool and run through the sprinklers to cool off. 😎Most doggies get tons of play, running & exercise chasing each other (& playing fetch) in the backyard, but we always make sure they get regular walks too.

Our only, and most important requirement, is that your doggy must be friendly with other dogs, and especially children. Our 2 year old daughter is gentle but can't risk any dogs who may bite or act agressively toward her. Our daughter is at daycare all day (9-5) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We are pretty laid back and encourage her to play with the dogs and give them treats, and think this is a really nice way to have her grow up with a love of animals💕 Of course, we are always careful with her with any dog, and make sure she's always supervised when she's home and awake.

Sometimes we may host multiple dogs, so we assume this is okay for you as we are only comfortable hosting friendly dogs. Let us know if this may be a problem for you and we’ll see what can be arranged. 
We don't speak Dutch (sorry!) but if you let us know your dog's commands, we promise to do our best to communicate in your dog's native tongue🐶
