ABOUT ME:
Hello everyone, I have been living around dogs my whole life and am very excited to begin as a dog sitter! I have a lot of experience with dogs, especially rescue/shelter dogs, and I hope to share this experience by watching dogs that maybe other people are not comfortable with.

Most of my experience comes from my aunt. She has worked at the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA ever since I was a child and all of my family's pets came from this shelter. Once I was old enough, I started volunteering at this shelter whenever I was available. Because my aunt worked there, I was able to work with dogs that other volunteers were not allowed to work with. I have experience with aggressive dogs, fearful dogs, and dogs with mental illnesses. I also have current experience with my own rescue dog. He came from Greece and was afraid of everything at first. He would not even go outside to pee but now he can happily walk off the leash in places that he knows.

My dog Luca is still nervous around people and will bark when you come in. He also has some abandonment issues and will growl and cry at your dog when in the house. We will need to have at least 2 visits so he can see that you and your dog do not stay permanently. After those visits, he is usual very happy to have the dogs stay over and will play all day.

ABOUT DOG SITTING:
When your dogs are with me, they will have my undivided attention all day. I will feed your dogs according to your instructions so please bring some of your usual dog food. Please also bring a collar/harness and a leash for visits longer than 3 hours so I can bring your dog for one or two walks in the woodland path by my house. I like to send pictures and videos to you throughout the day :)
