Hi! We are Pedro and Gisela, a couple from Portugal living in Amsterdam for more than 10 years. We love animals, and we have lots of experience with both cats and dogs. Both of us work from home most of the time, so your furry will never be left alone. This is also an opportunity for us to have dogs at home. We used this service before until our 3rd family member passed away. We always wanted to leave her with someone that would make her feel love and peace. That's how we will treat your furry. We leave in a neighborhood that is quiet and full of green spaces. Dogs love it! And we have a small backyard to compliment when the weather is nice.

Rex loved his time at Pedro and Gi. They took super good care of him, let him run off leash and gave him lots of cuddles and attention. We also received daily photos and videos while we were away and it was very cute. They’re really the best!

My family and I have a mixed breed puppy back in my home China, we have adopted him 3 years ago, back then he was a less than 5 month old pupuy. Ik ben een echte dierenvriend, maar vanwege een minder gestructureerd leven kan ik nu nog geen eigen hondje nemen. Vanwege een verandering in baan heb ik nu veel tijd en pas ik graag op jouw dierenvriend! Als kind ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel dieren om mij heen. Opgegroeid met allerlei dieren, zoals paardjes, geiten, kippen, eenden, katten en honden. Ook ervaring met bange dieren die een traumatisch verleden hebben gehad waardoor ik een rustige houding heb tegenover dieren. Ik ben flexibel qua tijd en dagen. Ik werk als docent en heb daardoor een afwisselend rooster waardoor ik soms niet beschikbaar ben door het les geven, maar tegelijkertijd ook vaak thuis kan werken. Ik woon in een vrij ruim appartement met een klein balkon (goed afgeschermd). Mij lijkt het heel leuk om weer wat meer met dieren bezig te zijn, omdat ik zelf helaas geen huisdier heb.

Ons hondje is een een bang hondje, maar helemaal in goede handen geweest bij Vita. Heel lief en fijn hoe ze met hem omging! Ik zou haar zeker aanraden.

International couple with a love for animals

Richard and I have both grown up with and have taken care of pets most of our life. Richard had 2 medium-large dogs growing up and I grew up with 2 cats (currently we do not have pets at our home but would love them in the future). Most of all we love animals and happy to help anyone that needs reliable pet sitters! We live in a quiet residential area in Amsterdam, and our apartment is large enough for dogs of all sizes. Plusha had a great time this summer staying with Maria & Pedro for 10 days. They have an adorable rescue of their own and therefore were well equipped to take care of Plusha. They maintained regular communication and I could see Plusha having a great vacation with them and enjoying the company of their dog. The neighbourhood is also great for dogs as there are lots of walking areas around . I would sudden then highly, and I am sure Plusha would love to visit them again.

Na opgegroeid te zijn met katten begon ik op mijn 13e al mijn eerste honden uitlaatservice voor familie en kennissen. Zo was ik twee jaar lang de vaste oppas voor Beer (kruising). Inmiddels heb ik ruime ervaring met verschillende (kleine en middelgrote) rassen en heb ik een aantal terugkerende oppashondjes. Ik woon in een appartementje aan de rand van het centrum van de stad en kijk tijdens het oppassen altijd uit naar de spelen, knuffelen en de wandelingen naar bijvoorbeeld Bilderdijkpark of Geuzekade. Indien de gasthond houdt van spelen met andere honden heb ik voldoende vrienden met honden die graag een playdate inplannen. Hierbij laten we al-tijd(!) de honden eerst op een veilige manier kennismaken. Ik ben een betrouwbare oppas die haar thuiswerk dagen en vrije tijd gemakkelijk kan aanpassen naar de routine van een gasthond. Verwacht regelmatig updates (met foto’s) gedurende het verblijf van jouw hondje. Note: In verband met mijn relatief kleine appartement op 1-hoog pas ik enkel op kleine en middelgrote rassen die zindelijk zijn.

This is my second time using Danielle, and again she is the BEST dog sitter there is. She has a stash of dog toys and treats at her house that she greets your pet with to make them feel comfortable immediately. She consistently sends pictures/updates of your pup- which is something I love. I honestly think my dog may *almost* prefer her over me.

Van corgi’s tot Duitse herders, we kennen en begrijpen de behoeften van verschillende soorten en maten honden. Dankzij ons flexibele werk is het altijd mogelijk ervoor te zorgen dat één van ons thuis is om de hond gezelschap te houden en voldoende aandacht te geven. Mijn vriend en ik wonen in een appartement op de begane grond (70m2) met een afgesloten tuin (26m2) in Amsterdam Oost, op wandelafstand van zowel het Oosterpark als het Flevopark – perfect voor zowel korte als lange wandelingen. Het hele appartement is gelijkvloers en er is genoeg ruimte voor een hondenbench of grote mand. Ook hebben we een werkkamer waar de hond kan slapen als dat fijn is. We zijn flexibel met het afspreken van ophaal- en brengmomenten. Laat het vooral weten als je een keertje kennis wilt maken! 😊

Belle was absolutely fantastic and our Mochi loved her time with her! She sent constant updates, loads of cuddles, and walks in mochis favorite park. We would highly recommend and hope to have you both watch Mochi again soon 😊

Lena was absolutely incredible! This was our first time leaving our pets since moving to the Netherlands, and we were nervous. From the beginning, Lena was so kind, patient, and accommodating, even offering to meet with us multiple times before our trip so we could all feel comfortable. While we were away, we learned that our dog Ferguson was struggling with separation anxiety and barking when left alone. Lena truly went above and beyond to help us navigate the situation. She came up with creative solutions, offered to spend more time at the house, and even plugged in our camera when she left so we could talk to him remotely. She did everything she could to make sure Ferguson was comfortable and that we could relax and enjoy the rest of our trip. Both our dog and cat absolutely adored her! We even had neighbors comment on seeing Lena walking Ferguson around the neighborhood and how happy he looked. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially given the unexpected challenges. Lena is thoughtful, caring, proactive, and clearly loves animals. We're so grateful for everything she did and will absolutely be booking her again. Highly recommend!

Ik hou super veel van dieren (is het gek als ik de meeste dieren leuker vind dan veel mensen?) Toen ik jonger was hebben we altijd huisdieren en katten gehad, en sinds ik op mezelf woon heb ik veel foster en oppas hondjes gehad. Ook heb ik meerdere malen een ‘house sit’ gedaan en op katten gepast.
