Please note that my apartment is on the second floor and is only accessible via a fairly steep staircase. To protect dogs' backs, I always carry them up and down the stairs. I am a pet lover - dogs as well as cats. Lived my whole life around and caring for my dogs back home in Latvia - playing and exercising them, physically as well as mentally. Back home I even went through dog school with my German Shepherd and trained our puppy on my own. Here in Leiden I would prefer small to middle size dogs, just because in case of per boarding I believe my apartment would be a bit too small for a large dog.
