Hi! Ik ben opgegroeid met een Wheaten Terrier en pas sinds 15 jaar af en aan op op verschillende hondenrassen. Ik heb zelf een 'deelhond', die regelmatig bij mij is. Veel van mijn vrienden hebben honden: van een Spaanse Waterhond tot Labrador of Cocker Spaniel – ze zijn altijd welkom in mijn fijne, ruime woning aan de Amstel. Ik vind het fijn om actief en veel buiten te zijn, dus neem een hond graag mee naar het park, strand of bos en houd daarbij uiteraard rekening met jouw wens. Daarnaast ben ik momenteel flexibel beschikbaar om op pad te gaan. - Wandelingen zijn 30-45 minuten, dit kan uiteraard ook langer of korter - Honden worden nooit alleen gelaten - Honden worden altijd schoon afgeleverd bij huisbezoek of na een wandeling Stuur bij vragen gerust een berichtje! / Hi! we would love to walk your dog when you are away

We have years of dog-sitting experience. We also fostered a rescue dog ourselves. We will take care of your dogs as our own. Giving them the care, play and chill time they need. We both work hybrid, so most of the times there will be one of us at home. Due to circumstances we cannot own our dog ourselves. Therefore we would like to dog-sit instead. We would like to watch your dog when you can't. We prefer small/medium sized and easier dogs. ------ We hebben jarenlange ervaring met het oppassen op honden. We zijn zelf ook gastgezin geweest voor en opvanghondje. We zullen voor uw honden zorgen alsof het onze eigen honden zijn, door ze de zorg, speeltijd en rust te geven die ze nodig hebben. Aangezien we beiden deels thuiswerken, is er meestal iemand van ons thuis. Door omstandigheden kunnen we zelf op dit moment niet een eigen hond nemen. Daarom zouden we in plaats daarvan graag op uw hond willen passen. We passen graag op uw hond zorgen wanneer u dat niet kunt. Onze voorkeur gaat uit naar kleine tot middelgrote en wat makkelijkere honden.

Pet Island is open!

Hoi! We are Nick and Lili. We speak Dutch, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese in both human and dog language ;) We live on a peaceful island on the border of Zaandam, in a special place close to the Zaanse Schans and the Natural Reserve Area of Kalverpolder, near Amsterdam. Although we don’t have our own dogs, we love animals, and are lucky to have a fun "fauna" here already: from a turtle that visits from time to time to all kinds of waterfowl. Our 'dogiculum': Nick was brought up in France and Spain, raised with a lot of Irish Setters. Lili, growing up in Brazil made her very familiar with all types of street and rescue dogs. After more than 3 years as dog sitters, we have the experience of over 100 happy clients. It has been an educational journey for us learning about dogs, their various quirks and and getting to know so many different dogs and becoming a part of their lives. We now believe dogs have a unique experience here, as they can exist in near total freedom, in a pack, playing, foraging, chilling or even sleeping together, and with our near constant near-presence. That's how we reached progressively this “spa-like” bubble environment, where dogs can socialize and/or relax at their will. If we have only one guest, they stay with us in the main house of course. Some extra info: . Our island has 3 main buildings, one of them is the guesthouse transformed into a doggyhouse. It’s surrounded by a big 'foresty garden’ and the super clean air. They have a fenced and safe area at their disposition for playing and lounging outside. . As we both work from home, we have lots of time and love for our guests, and so they are usually supervised 24/7. . Walks are included as they have access to the garden whenever we go walking throughout the island's interwoven paths. . We do not take dogs that are either too anxious, protective or aggressive (ie. A home away from home

I’m from India and have been in Amsterdam for a couple of years now. I’ve had dogs (Irish setters) all my life and lost my most precious boy (Casper) in 2021. I’ve had the most beautiful journey of 11 years with my sweet Casper. Through these years, I’ve always wished to take Casper along in my travels but it was not always possible. Now that I’m away from home and miss the biggest part of having the company of a dog, I decided to set up a this account to help pet parents travel stress free and have the confidence that their pet is in good hands. With all that being said, it is obvious that I love dogs and get along with them really well. I’ve had experience with puppies, teenage dogs, senior dogs and each phase is precious in it’s own way so I’m not particular in the phase that they are currently at. All of them are welcome! Looking forward to pampering and cuddling with your fur babies!

Hi dear friends, My name is Görkem. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had animals in my life. I truly love them, and spending time with them brings me so much joy — they add real meaning to my life. Over the years, I’ve had many pets, including cats, birds, and fish. I’ve also taken care of many friends’ dogs. I spent a long time volunteering at an animal shelter, where I walked lots of dogs of different breeds. Flexibel en dierenliefhebber

Sinds jongs af aan heb ik veel honden in huis gehad. Het waren voornamelijk honden die gered werden van de armoedige straten in Egypte. Ik heb daarom een grote liefde ontwikkeld voor dieren en voornamelijk honden. Ik ben over het algemeen elke dag beschikbaar en ben als persoon erg flexibel als het gaat om tijd. Wandelen doe ik graag, dus een hond aan mijn zijde hebben voor een paar uurtjes is alleen maar top. Zorgzame en lieve hondenoppas

Wij zijn Marvin en Sangeeta, een enthousiast stel met grote liefde voor dieren. Samen hebben we een lieve shih tzu mix Coco van 4,5 jaar die goed overweg kan met andere kleine honden en een dwergpapegaai. We wonen in een appartement met een groot balkon. Het Amsterdamse bos ligt op 5 min rijden, waar we regelmatig coco uitlaten. Bij ons draait alles om rust, aandacht en plezier. We weten hoe belangrijk het is dat een hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom zorgen we met veel aandacht, wandelingen en knuffels voor jouw viervoeter alsof het de onze is. We hebben gekozen om hondenoppas te worden omdat we het heerlijk vinden om met dieren bezig te zijn. Hun enthousiasme, trouw en unieke persoonlijkheden brengen ons elke dag vreugde. Bovendien vinden we het mooi om baasjes te kunnen ontzorgen, wetend dat hun hond in goede handen is. We zullen regelmatig updates geven en foto's sturen zodat je je vrolijke viervoeter niet hoeft te missen😊

Marvin heeft er voor gezorgd dat Dari het erg naar zijn zin heeft gehad. Dari komt graag vaker een dagje langs.
