Candy
Small (0-10kg)
3 years 9 months
Female
Pomeranian
Candy is a 4 year old female dog with reactivity problems.
what does that means?
That she can't walk closer a dog or cat she will start to pull or bark.
she can be unleashed only in closed playgrounds.
she likes to chase birds, bees and ducks ( be careful because she can pull the least very hard).
shes afraid to the sound of motor bikes so she needs to stop and pet her to say everything is going to be calm.
I don't let her to bark if she see another dogs, she use a martingale collar ( a soft collar) and a retractable leash so she can feel a bit of liberty once we enter in public park.

Candy walks 2 times per day 15miin in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon around 13:00 or 16:00 it depends If it's raining or if it's too hot I prefer to walk her when it's more chill.
my routine with her is not lo let her be over excited before the walk and during the walk.
she understands commands in English but the most important is VAMOS so with this she knows it's time to go.
once we're out I unlock the retractable leash to drain all her energy but once she started to bark I lock it again and if I see she's more quite I can unlock it again.
We don't walk in the city I try to walk her in the parks or forest.
she doesn't walk unleash and also I don't let her to pull the leash when she see a duck /bird or cat.
With dogs if I see one is coming infron of us I always take another route or try to cross as far as I can, she will let you know what's her limit and try to respect i always.
she eats 2 times
Breakfast at 9 or 10 am
Dinner at 17:00
I don't let her to eat too late the dinner otherwise she will be waking you up to go to the toilet.
She goes to bed around 20h I let her sleep in my bed.
She can wake up around 9:00 am

Lobito normally walks 2 times peer day in the morning 10min.
His big walk is in the afternoon depending how warm is outside if it's too warm we wait until 15:00 to walk all the public park Vecth that is near home for 1hour or 1hour 15 every day.
He likes to chase birds and pull sometimes the leash, he understands well with treats .
I unleashed him in the closed play grounds. He never walk unleashed, he has a distance tolerance with other dogs, he doesn't like to cross aside them , we always cross far or take another route. I always carry him if I see another dog , normally he doesn't bark but if the dog us too close of him he will bark so if I'm walking in the neighborhood I always prefer cross the street and when the dog is far from us put him down.
after some minutes of walking he will relax and can tolerate dogs but far away from him. I always say the command Vamos and try ti catch his attention with treats.
he eats 2 times
breakfast and dinner
normally we don't let him to eat after certain hour otherwise he will be up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet.
