Hi! 🤗 We are Margaret (29 y/o, female) and Michiel (32 y/o, male). We are an American/Dutch couple who met in New Zealand during our studies. Margaret moved to the NL after graduating in 2019 and we have built our lives together ever since. Margaret grew up loving all types of animals and was surrounded by dogs, cats, bunnies and fish. She got her first puppy when she was 9 years old and took excellent care of her. Margaret's love for dogs has won Michiel over too. For 3 years, we were full time house/cat/dog sitters before entering the corporate world. We now have more time again and miss having dogs in our lives but cannot commit to our own furbaby just yet. I’ve loved animals especially cats and dogs since I was young. I cared for my Pomeranian, Twinkie, for 14 wonderful years, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a pet’s needs and personality. I’ve also spent a lot of time around cats at my grandparents’ home, learning how to care for different temperaments. I truly enjoy playing with pets, keeping them active, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I give each pet my full attention and care for them as if they were my own. I look forward to many more interactions with them!

Eugene and his wife took great care of both my dogs and they are lot the easiest, they communicated very well and sent pictures throughout the boarding days and gave me a lot of peace of mind. I cannot recommended them enough.

Hello, my name is Svetoslava, but you can call me Sunny. I am 26 years old, a Psychology student at University of Tilburg. I am originally from Bulgaria. My family owned a German Shepherd when I was a high school student. We had him since he was a little pup, my father trained him and I did most of the walking and feeding. My sister and my mother also helped with everything needed. That dog was the most pretentious from all of us, but so full of fun. He would play with the neighbour's dog as well, where I used to live there were like 5 out of 10 apartments with a dog. Unfortunately, since I came to Rotterdam to study back in 2018, my parents decided to give him to one of our neighbours since my parents are all alone and cannot make most of their time from their daily jobs. The experience of having a dog was a big part of my life, call it bliss and I miss it big time. As a student, I have pretty much around 10-14 hours per week free from studying. And what better way to spend that time away from the books, than watching dogs. Depending on the weather I can bike otherwise, public transport is fine for me. I would like to know the dog and the owner a little in advance hopefully that is okay with you. I can look after most breeds, without any excuses. The dog should be vaccinated and disciplined. I cannot properly train the dog since my father trained ours. If there is special care I should know about, just let me know.

Leuk gezin met veel liefde voor honden!

Hoi, Ik ben Céline, 37 jaar oud en dol op honden. Ons gezin bestaat uit 3 kinderen: een meisje van 8 en 2 jongens van 10 en 13. In ons gezin hebben we altijd een hondje gehad. Ook ben ik zelf als kind opgegroeid met een hond. De liefde die je krijgt en kunt geven aan een huisdier is onbeschrijflijk. Echter hebben we besloten na het overlijden van ons eigen hondje om zelf voorlopig geen huisdier meer te nemen. Onze lieve hond is 14 jaar oud mogen worden en ons gezin mist haar nog elke dag. Omdat we veel vaste verplichtingen hebben willen we niet meer fulltime voor een huisdier zorgen. Het oppassen op een hondje van iemand anders is voor ons de ideale oplossing om gehoor te geven aan onze liefde voor dieren. We willen graag tijd vrij maken en als we weten dat er een hondje komt houden we hier rekening mee in onze agenda. We kunnen thuiswerken en proberen onze agenda zo leeg mogelijk te houden. Het is wel fijn als je hondje het niet erg vind om even alleen te blijven als we toch een boodschap moeten doen maar ons streven is dat ze niet langer dan 2 a 3 uurtjes alleen zijn. Wij vinden het heerlijk om te wandelen in het bos en als ons vaste oppashondje komt gaat die gewillig mee de kinderen naar school brengen. Dit is een wandeling van 2 km op en neer. Ook de kinderen vinden het fijn om veel liefde te geven door middel van spelen of knuffelen. Als je hondje bij ons wilt logeren is het dus belangrijk dat ze kinderen leuk vinden. We hebben een fijne achtertuin waar je hondje vrij mag lopen. Achter ons huis is een park waar we graag een rondje wandelen. Mocht je denken: wat een leuk gezin! Neem dan gerust contact met ons op. Wij vinden het fijn om altijd eerst een fysieke afspraak te maken om te kijken of er een wederzijdse klik is. Als we er allemaal een goed gevoel hebben word het oppassen vast een succes! Wij kijken er in ieder geval naar uit!

Sam heeft een geweldige kennismakings dag gehad bij Celine Hij is mee geweest naar de bossen en duinen voor een lange wandeling en is verder heel veel geknuffeld. Celine is duidelijk honden gewend en is er serieus mee bezig

Dogs are family

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. I work from home, meaning I am available for all your dogs needs and am able to take them for long walks, if thats what they like in the dog friendly park. If that's not what your pup prefers and they just like to chill in the sun chewing on some watermelon, that's also great for me. I want them to enjoy being here as much as I enjoy having them.

We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. They kept sending us pictures every day, so we knew she was doing well. We were so happy that Luna was with them, and we’ll definitely leave her with them again next time we’re away :)

Een tweede thuis voor je hond

Ik ben Mendy 25 jaar en altijd honden gehad zowel bij mijn ouders als nu ik samenwoon. Een fijne, huiselijke plek waar je hond veel liefde, aandacht en beweging krijgt. We hebben een grote tuin waar hij/zij lekker de hele dag kan rondlopen. Ik behandel iedere hond alsof het mijn eigen hond is. Zelf hebben wij een 2-jarige labradoodle die super goed met andere honden kan en het gezellig vindt om een maatje om zich heen te hebben. Onze labradoodle houd wel van spelen. We houden van grote wandelingen in het mooie buitengebied hier. Ik stuur natuurlijk regelmatig een leuke foto of update indien gewenst! Ik vind het belangrijk dat zowel jij als baasje, als je hond, met een goed gevoel de deur uitgaat.

Liefdevolle hondenoppas in Breda 🐾

Na een mooie reis door Zuid-Amerika ben ik nu thuis in Breda! Nu heb ik wat extra tijd om te doen waar ik blij van word: tijd doorbrengen met honden! Mijn hele leven ben ik al omringd geweest door honden, van groot tot klein (je spot ze ook op mijn foto’s: de energieke Mechelaar en mijn ondeugend “vuilnisbakje” (dat letterlijk álles opeet). Samen met mijn vriend woon ik in een ruim appartement met balkon, op steenworp afstand van het bos. Perfect voor fijne, lange wandelingen! We hebben een rustig huishouden waarin jouw maatje veel aandacht en zorg krijgt. Doordeweeks ben ik meestal thuis, dus jouw hond krijgt volop aandacht. Mijn vriend werkt doordeweeks buitenshuis, dus de verzorging ligt volledig bij mij. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik in Den Haag al veel ervaring opgedaan met het oppassen op honden, van allerlei rassen en karakters. Daardoor kan ik goed inspelen op wat jouw hond nodig heeft of dat nu veel beweging is, rust, of gewoon extra knuffels. 🐶 Beschikbaarheid - Doordeweeks: vaak beschikbaar ivm flexibel thuiswerken! - Weekenden: meestal volgepland, alleen voor bekende oppasadresjes! En je mag altijd vragen. Voor mij is het belangrijk dat jouw hond zich echt op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom plannen we altijd eerst een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede klik is en alle wensen kunnen bespreken. Ik kijk ernaar uit om nieuwe viervoeters in Breda te leren kennen! 🐕

Honden zijn in een groot deel van mijn leven aanwezig geweest en inmiddels ken ik niet beter dan samen te leven met ze. Grote en kleine roedels voelen dan ook niet meer als werk maar als familie. In alle tijd die ik heb mogen spenderen met ze heb ik enorm veel kunnen leren. Niet alleen over honden maar ook over de baasjes - of zoals ik ze graag noem, de meesters. Immers ben ik graag voor de hond een meester en geen baas. Inmiddels spendeer ik een groot deel van mijn tijd in het helpen bij het versterken van de relatie tussen mens en hond. Ofwel het meesterschap in het begrijpen en communiceren met honden. Dit doe ik zowel in opvang/rehabilitatie als in privé sferen. Slechte honden bestaan niet, alleen onbegrepen honden. Alle honden met baasjes zijn welkom voor een kennismaking! Voor enige verzoeken krijg ik graag een bericht, ook als er vragen zijn hoor ik deze graag. Voor elke hond bied ik graag de beste plek die ik bieden kan. En zeker voor de onbegrepen 'probleem' honden ben ik graag van dienst. Momenteel bestaat mijn dag voornamelijk uit het geven van trainingen door heel Nederland, de honden gaan vaak mee en krijgen zo ook veel te leren op een dag. Een kennismaking is dus ook wel van belang om te zorgen dat ik de beste matches kan maken en de honden goed in de roedel/mijn leefstijl passen.

Mijn 2 ridgebacks hebben bijna 3 weken bij Casper gelogeerd. Ze hebben erg moeite om in een andere omgeving zonder hun vertrouwde mensen te zijn. Dit zag ik dan altijd terug in fysieke en mentale gesteldheid. Dit keer bij Casper kwamen ze beide totaal in balans terug, fysiek en mentaal in uitstekende conditie. Erg blij mee, Casper is goed in zijn vak!

Hallo! Mijn naam is Natasja. Inmiddels heb ik ruime ervaring in het oppassen en ook met verschillende rassen. Het comfort van de hond is voor mij belangrijk. Ik bied uw hond een fijne, veilige oppaservaring met een goede balans tussen spelen, wandelen en rust. Sinds 2024 heb ik mijn eigen hond, Nala, een kleine, rustige en sociale Griffon Bruxellois. Hier is dus altijd een speelkameraadje aanwezig voor uw hond. Nala is gewend aan zowel kleine als grote honden. Tijdens het oppassen zal ik updates sturen met foto's of korte video's. De tijden voor het brengen en ophalen van uw hond kan flexibel in overleg. Vragen of dingen waar ik rekening mee kan houden? Laat het me weten!

Sprinkle heeft een fantastische dag gehad met Natasja. Natasja is super lief en zorgzaam geweest voor Sprinkle. Stuurde ook regelmatig foto's en filmpjes. Sprikle was in goeie handen en hierdoor was ik ook gerustgesteld.
