Luna is an 8-year-old mixed-breed dog (part German Shepherd), spayed, and very special. Due to a lack of socialization during the first 8 months of her life, she’s a fearful dog and can be reactive at times, especially with unfamiliar people. However, with time, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement, she becomes incredibly loving, calm, and obedient. She gets along well with smaller dogs and males. With female dogs, she may need slower introductions and supervision. Luna needs someone experienced with dog behavior, who can give her space and allow her to build trust at her own pace. I’m looking for a reliable and experienced carer who can look after Luna on future occasions, preferably always the same person and at the same location. We want this process to be as stress-free as possible for her, so we’re looking for someone patient and committed, who’s willing to take the time to get to know her before taking care of her.
