Mina started life in a shelter and was adopted at 1.5 years old. She appreciates a slow introduction to new people, animals and surroundings. When she’s given a little space, her curiosity helps her get comfortable quickly. She’s an absurdly sweet dog to hang around and loves human company. She’s well trained (although smart enough to test what she can get away with) and continues to grow and amaze us as we take her into new environments. Mina gets along with other dogs as long as they give her space at the start. She feels confident around calm, sociable dogs. She encounters many cats in our neighborhood and is not interested in them. She takes an anti-itch medication orally 1-2x/day. We are ok with her being alone for up to 4 hours in a familiar environment. Mina is medium-energy, equally thrilled to go outside and to chill on the couch. She mainly wants to be where you are. She is very food motivated but also enjoys fuzzy toys that crinkle or squeak.
