City centre sitter with dachshund

Hi there! My name is Joppe, and I live on a boat in the city centre if Amsterdam together with my girlfriend. Kees is out permanent roommate, he’s a mini dachshund who loves to play in Vondelpark everyday and make new friends. About myself, I’m an analyst that often works from home and through social media and group chats I see a lot of people struggling to find a sitter for their pet. While working at home I usually walk Kees every 2-3 hours, while going to dog parks almost everyday for a least 30 min. I’ve taken care of a few dogs before, and when taking them anywhere I make sure to but a tracking device on them (better be safe than sorry!). If your dog needs to stay overnight, that won’t be an issue as there is plenty of space here on the boat. Regarding this, no person of dog had ever fallen in the water - but just to be sure we always put the dogs life jackets on. Regarding your dog, my only wish is that he/she is comfortable being picked-up and being friendly to other dogs. The rest I can manage! Looking forward meeting you and your dog!

Ik behandel elk dier als zijn eigen persoon

Ik heb in Engeland voor de Duitse herder van mijn vader gezorgd. Die was lastig met uitlaten. Ik vind Duitse herders de leukte honden die er zijn. Ik hou van alle soorten honden. Hondenknuffelaar!

Ik ben een hondenliefhebber die het mist om met honden te wandelen en knuffelen. Ik ben opgegroeid met een hond, een Ierse terrier. Koos had een sterk karakter dus dat ben ik wel gewend. Verder hou ik van wandelen dus waarom niet een viervoeter meenemen die ook kan genieten van een ommetje. Het bos is mijn favoriet, dus de hond kan mee in de auto waarna we gaan wandelen in Doorn of iets dichter bij huis het Panbos in de Bilt. Na een flinke wandeling kunnen we thuis een beetje relaxen, wat eten en een koekje als beloning sluit ik nooit uit.

Super lief voor de hond, Huli was helemaal relax toen ik hem ophaalde. Lekker met hem gewandeld. Helemaal top! Voor herhaling vatbaar :thumbsup_tone1::feet:

Wonend in een ruim en veilig huis (zonder buiten) met genoeg ruimte om rond te lopen en te spelen, met 3 vrouwelijke huisgenoten (ook dierenliefhebbers). Meermaals zeer tevreden en blije katten afgeleverd bij de baasjes na het oppassen. Het huis een goede basis, maar indien gewenst binnen 5 minuten lopen in het Beatrixpark voor even wat frissere lucht om de longen te verversen. Geen ervaring in toedienen van medicatie, wel zelf afgestudeerd arts (en dus als persoon verzorgend ingesteld) en meer dan open om ook wat over Diergeneeskunde te leren!

Gezellig geweest blijkbaar, weer teruggelopen naar huis met een relaxte puppy.
