Ruby came by for an introduction a week ago and stayed in our house this weekend to take care of the cats and dog, she did a wonderful job, even though the dog is not easy, she is a puller and loves to chase birds, but Ruby managed really well! Ruby gave us regular updates with pics and videos, and left the house very neat. We would definitely ask her again, she is great, we came home to find very happy pets!! 😍

🐶 Liefdevolle, zorgzame en flexibele hondenoppas

🌰 In een notendop Mijn hart ligt bij dieren, en al helemaal bij honden. Ik ben opgegroeid op Curaçao, het grootkind van m'n oma die van een grote boerderij komt, Landhuis Brievengat. Ik heb altijd honden, huis- en 'boerderijdieren' gehad. Ik zal met zorgvuldigheid, respect en liefde voor je hond zorgen. En niet te vergeten: plezier. 🕰️ Mijn Beschikbaarheid Ik werk twee dagen op kantoor, twee dagen thuis. Als ik oppas, kan ik mijn planning gemakkelijk aanpassen en één of twee extra dagen thuis zijn. Jouw hond is gedurende de dag verzekerd van voldoende aandacht en gezelschap. ❤️ De liefde voor dieren is me met de paplepel ingegoten Mijn oma was een kind van de akker. En met trots zeg ik dat ze dat doorgegeven heeft aan haar kleinkinderen. In onze tuin hadden we soms wel tientallen honden en puppy's. Dit was geen fokkerij! We namen bijvoorbeeld zieke honden en puppy's bij ons op en zorgden voor ze, soms tot ouderdom toe. Ook hadden we katten, schildpadden, hamsters, én was er nog grote familieboerderij met onder andere geiten, schapen, ezels, kippen en vogels. Daar kon je me voor een lange tijd elke dag vinden. 📨 Stuur me een bericht of een verzoek, en misschien word ik wel je liefdevolle, zorgzame en flexibele hondenoppas!

Charlie heeft heel goed op Kovu gepast. Het ging allemaal erg soepel en fijn, en Kovu voelde zich duidelijk op zijn gemak. Ik werd goed op de hoogte gehouden tijdens het oppassen en de communicatie was helder en prettig. Charlie heeft veel ervaring en laat een hond rustig en goed landen. Ik zou hem zeker aanraden! My name is Celina and I am currently studying at the Uva. Originally I am from Austria where I grew up with dogs and also walked them on my own at the age of five already. I have experience with difficult dogs and also big dogs. I love playing with them but I can also just walk with them calmly, depending on the dog's mood or take them for a swim. I also trained our family dog in Austria, a black big labrador myself. When I was still in high school I also walked dogs as a side job and I really enjoyed it. Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Joost is een echte dierenvriend. Hij zorgt ervoor dat je hond geen aandacht te kort komt. Afspraken waren makkelijk te maken. Aanrader!

I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.
