Hi, I am Iva! I have a PhD in biology and I LOVE all animals! I have my own company and I work from home so your pet will hardly ever be alone if you leave him/her with me. I am experienced with taking care of various animals as I grew up having many pets: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 4 rodents, 5 parrots, and 1 tarantula, and taking care of stray cats and dogs. I am traveling a lot because of work and unfortunately can't have my own pets anymore but I would be happy to take care of yours. Animals love me and I love them! I am familiar with dog training techniques and I was looking after more than 100 dogs so far. I am responsible, organized, and sporty and I like playing and running with dogs. I live with my partner in the center of Leiden. We both love being outdoors and taking long walks with dogs at the beach, city parks and in the forest. Our house is spacious and clean, and it is pretty much like a doggy spa where they are getting endless cuddles and lots of massages in a very zen environment. :) We also have a small back garden (fully-fenced). We both love animals very much and we are hoping to get some new furry, 4-legged friends to cuddle! P.S. Please note that I do not accept dogs that are not house-trained (puppies that still didn't learn not to pee in the house).

Jip had a wonderful time with Iva again! She is a truly lovely and good sitter. Jip came home very relaxed. It is so nice when your dog is doing well while you are on vacation. Het verzorgen van dieren begon als een hobby of een speciale manier om voor de dieren van mijn vrienden te zorgen. In het begin zorgde ik voor huisdieren van vrienden die voor hun werk of voor een korte vakantie naar het buitenland gingen. Ik heb op honden gepast bij mij thuis, voor wandelingen of om naar hun eigen huis te gaan. Ik woon in een studio vlakbij het park tegenover de rechtenfaculteit. Ik heb een flexibel schema om voor ze te zorgen. Mijn vrienden zeggen dat ik een speciale gave heb met honden en begonnen me aan te bevelen bij andere mensen met huisdieren en zo is het allemaal begonnen.

Hello! My name is Mania, and I study Psychology at Leiden university. I am from Greece, a country known (among other things :)) for the amount of cute animals we have! A little bit more about me : I obviously love pets and have grown up with a sweet pomeranian and also have volunteered as a dog trainer and walker for a year in Greece (specifically in an organization called ZEHL). Except for the above, I have taken care of my brothers cat when he was away, so I know how to take care of a kitten and an adult cat. Clementine en haar partner hebben echt superlief voor Puck gezorgd. Ze is eigenlijk nog nooit zó relaxed teruggekomen na een nachtje logeren. We kregen tussendoor leuke foto’s, wat heel fijn was, en ze namen onze instructies over haar ritme en haar karakter echt serieus. Daardoor voelde het voor ons heel vertrouwd, en volgens mij is het voor Puck zelf een hele fijne ervaring geweest. Wij laten haar hier met een gerust hart nog eens logeren.

Huge animal lover, especially dogs

Since my childhood, I've always felt a special affection for animals. My dream job was to become a vet! Unfortunately, I've never had my own dog because as a student I was afraid of not being able to provide fully for the dog. However, owning a dog is #1 on my to-do list once I settle things down and know I can dedicate myself to these loving animals. Hopefully the day will come soon... During my high school years, I walked and took care of my friends' dogs. Last year, I voluntarily walked with two dogs. I currently look after a friend's chihuahua and another friend's cat when they're on vacation. I've also been a horse rider since I was 14. As you can imagine I'm always trying to be around animals :)

Lale walked our pup Lola and she just seemed so lovely and patient with her. She's still young and jumpy, but Lale took her time. I'd love for Lale to walk Lola more often. Thanks Lale!

I am a pet lover - dogs as well as cats. Lived my whole life around and caring for my dogs back home in Latvia - playing and exercising them, physically as well as mentally. Back home I even went through dog school with my German Shepherd and trained our puppy on my own. Here in Leiden I would prefer small to middle size dogs, just because in case of per boarding I believe my apartment would be a bit too small for a large dog. All my experience with dogs does not take away from my love of other pets like cats - in facts I am the godmother of 2 cats that my friend owns. In general, I am an animal lover that believes that each pet is different with their own personality that needs to be stimulated. :)

I am a 22 year old student who loves animals and being able to take care of pets while helping their owners is a job made for me! I have already done a lot of babysitting but I don't have any official experience in pet sitting yet. However, I have had plenty of experience petsitting my family's and friends' dogs and cats, as well as my neighbours. I have also grown up with many animals, cats and dogs and in particular Bernese Mountain Dogs. I am therefore comfortable with small and large dogs. I also enjoy walking and playing with them. Huge fan of walking and having nice company aside

I always had pets in my home when i was growing up so I understand them well enough and I enjoy my time around them, I believe they have pure and genuine energy and love towards us as long as we can reciprocate it back. I moved in to the Netherlands almost a year ago and cant afford having a companion aside me due to my financial circumstances atm, however it would be amazing to have be able to walk them and hang around with them every now and then.
